Perfect location, and the on site restaurant is really, really good, definitely worth checking out. The rooms were large, looked a little haunted with the decorations, but it is in an historic building so fits.

My room was by the door to the outside balcony and restaurant, so when people used that it was a little loud slamming. It did wake me up a couple of times in the night, but this is an issue only to this room, others I'm sure don't have that problem. It was room 32.

The location was great, situated on Sfatului Square, the best one. We found many restaurants in the area. The hotel has also a nice one and a terrace. We arrived earlier than expected, however, both rooms were ready, which was much appreciated. Regarding the interior, I have to say both were spacious and very clean. We had our private terrace, provided with a table and two chairs. On top of that, we enjoyed a kettle with complimentary tea, coffee and honey, even adding more the second day. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, with a big smile. We will be back!

Great location, with in nice historic building. Comfy bed, large room in the attic with beautiful view over the roofs of medieval Brasov. Decent bathroom. Wifi works well.

Heating in the room was not on. Hanging out in the room was only fun under the thick duvet. Given the energy crisis, sort of understandable, but not when it's 6 degrees outside in the night, and for sure not when you charge more than 50 euros / night without breakfast. Room rates increased a lot since our last visit 3 years ago, so, really, guys, you need to turn those heaters on and allow your guests some comfort.

The location was great. Casa Wagner is on the main picturesque square in Brasov, within walking distance of all the main attractions. We stayed in room number 8 which was big, bright and warm. It had an annex room with a comfortable pull out bed. The Casa is hundreds of years old and has an old world charm. The velux roof windows give great light and the heating made the room snug.

I didn't check the prices of the mini bar in the room until I was leaving. They were much cheaper than expected and I would have used it if I had checked the prices earlier. The menu at the hotel restaurant looked good. Unfortunately we didn't get an opportunity to dine there.

Excellent location in the middle of Council Square. Plenty of restaurants, bars , and shops in the area, and a great view. The Front Desk staff were friendly, spoke fluent English, and offered us a 10% discount for the restaurant located in the back of the hotel. The decor was very rustic , with a Germanic influence. Very nice overall!

The hotel doesn't have an elevator, which makes travelling with large luggage a bit difficult. There were 2 sets of stairs that we needed to climb in order to reach our room, one of them being a spiral staircase. Not necessarily a bad thing unless you have heavy bags.

The style, traditional and respecting the heritage of the property yet possessing everything you need in today's life. Breakfast is good even though a little limited compared to other similar rated properties. Front office personnel, always with a smile and ever ready to assist.

Breakfast staff could do with a bit of positive approach. A smile does not harm anybody especially in the morning. However I found this behaviour (ie frowning persons) quite regular during our stay in Romania. It gives me a feeling of people still suspicious of one another.

Loved the breakfast, the size of the room and the location is perfect! I appreciated that altough they didn’t have any vegan food at breakfast, the waitress did bring me a couple of options from the kitchen each morning, it made a big difference!

Was a bir dissapointed that on first night the Tv didn’t work and we were told someone might look at it tomorrow. They did fix it in the morning and the it broke again in the evening. They didn’t offer us a room change although I suggested it. In the end it work partially and we had to reboot it ourselves as well. This was the only down to our stay.

Charming traditional rooms that complement the building's long history, but with modern bathroom fittings and plumbing. The rooms were well heated with controllable radiators (my stay was during winter). The WiFi worked well. The location is ideal for the old centre, overlooking the Piata Sfatului. My room was very quiet at night despite the central location. Breakfast was excellent and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. I also had several excellent dinners at the Wagner Loft restaurant.

The only negative was that the TV signal was weak on some channels - no doubt because it is an historic stone building not designed for TV. Also, who needs TV when you have Brasov's historic centre literally on your doorstep?

Casa Wagner is directly on the main plaza in the old part of Brasov, so you step out the front door right into the middle of the major tourist sites and activities. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and full of character. The breakfast served was very good.

The only disadvantage to the property is there is no car access (it’s on a pedestrian plaza), so getting your luggage to it can be difficult. We parked in a lot about five minutes away and carried our luggage from there. For us the prime location made that aggravation worth it, but that’s may not be true for everyone.
