Good hotel just across the street from the main square in the Old Town area, the Black church, and most of the attractions. We had a view of the White Tower from our room and you could see the Brasov sign on the Tampa Hill from the breakfast restaurant. Really nice overall. The rooms are large and clean, although basic. The towels and linen were changed daily, even when they shouldn't have been. Most of the staff were very polite and nice. Breakfast was also good - the coffee was surprisingly good too. Overall, more than decent hotel in a prime location.

Not much control over the old heating system. While it never was cold, at times it was slightly uncomfortable. Also, the hotel is built in such a way that all rooms (or most of them) face toward an enclosed yard area which really propagates sound well if the tourists start making noise - which did happen during our stay, but it's not the hotel's fault in the end. And it was never too late or for prolonged periods of time. Also, there were traces of mold in the bathroom and the entire place looks like it could use a bit of updating. But since you won't spend too much time indoors, it's not that big of a deal.

Very central location, within walking distance from anything you could wish in the Old Town Centre. Breakfast was good, conventional but good. The room was warm and fairly quiet, considering that sometimes heavy traffic flows a couple of yards away. All the staff was absolutely brilliant.

The layout of the Junior Suite is quite awkward, being oriented lengthwise. The coffee in the breakfast room is simply rubbish, come on guys, surely you understand how important good coffee is to the vast majority of guests.

The location is perfect. The breakfast was good and the woman who supervised it and kept it all flowing smoothly did an amazing job. The cleaning staff were always friendly. Brasov itself is fantastic.

I was very disappointed with my room. My understanding was that Booking.com had given me an upgrade and I was looking forward to a spacious room with beautiful colours. Instead I had a small room in drab colours. The room itself was shabby and in need of a fresh coat of paint. As I was staying for 8 days this was important to me. I was looking forward to somewhere where it was comfortable to relax and where there was a usable table and chair. I did express my disappointment to the person at the front desk but he was unable or unwilling to change the situation.

We returned to the Safrano palace after four years to celebrate our anniversary and weren't disappointed. Thankfully, it had survived covid and was equally delightful. The decor is lovely, the bed is comfy and the breakfast tasty. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast staff attended to every we needed. The location couldn't have been better. We visited during the holiday celebrations and watched the Christmas lights switch on from our room, which overlooked the square. There were little bears outside all the windows, too.It was like a fairy tale 🧚‍♀️

The lounge could be put to better use. We would probably have used it in the evenings if it had been open. Perhaps something to think about in the future 🤔

This historic property is situated on one side of the Old Town square, in Brasov. Entering the luxurious hotel-foyer from the street outside, was like finding an oasis. Reception staff were helpful and efficient, and supplied details of local attractions and bus routes, to assist my stay. I had a single room off the courtyard, comfortably furnished, and offset by expensive wallpaper + parquet flooring. A separate high-spec bathroom was located off the sleeping quarters. A generous breakfast-buffet was laid out in the lounge next morning: this included scrambled egg, bacon, a selection of cheeses and vegetable dips, as well as the continental option of cereal, yogurts, and bread rolls. I was able to leave heavier luggage with staff after check-out, while I explored Brasov and it's surrounds.

Some bedrooms open directly onto the courtyard, while others have a vestibule/hall separating these areas ( which allows more privacy), but this is an older property that has been reassigned to accommodate guests, so such issues are understandable.

The hotel faces the main square in Brasov and I don’t think you could get a better location that that! It’s located in an old building with lots of charm and the room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was lovely and big, as was the bathroom. The room was clean and was equipped with a small fridge and a kettle. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast was varied and plentiful! The is a nice inner courtyard with views up to the White Tower!

This is not the fault of the property, but the only thing that interrupted our sleep was some noise from the surrounding area (not guests) through the night. But this is to be expected as it is a city centre hotel so if you want to avoid this, then I’d suggest staying somewhere more residential. This wouldn’t stop us staying again because the hotel is beautiful and perfectly located!

Exceptional location, situated in the heart of the city, offered easy access to key attractions: restaurants, transport. It is absolutely perfect for exploring the area

One major downside was the quality of the pillows. They were uncomfortably hard, and I found myself waking up with a sore neck each morning. Changing the pillows would greatly enhance the comfort of the stay.

Perfect location in the heart of the city center , clock tower in the eye reach , on the other side of the street. You may reach all restaurants by walking. Be careful about the parking as Hotel does not have any parking premises , there is a paid parking around 300 m far from the hotel. Also there is a paid street parking. Overall hotel was fine especially for the location. I didn't try the breakfast so I can not comment on that.

View of my room was looking at the inner side of the hotel , so no view in fact. But for me it was a business trip and spent less time in the room, it didn't really bother me.

Excellent location, the king room with Piata Sfatului view is indeed extra large and well furnished. The room was equipped with everything that can be expected from a 3-star hotel. There is no place for parking around, but the hotel can help with a paid reservation nearby.

The bed mattress and bedding were not good. Restaurant is too small, we needed to wait minutes for a table. Night reading lighthing is not available.

Room was massive, bed was really comfortable, staff were very helpful and the breakfast had all you would need. The location is really good, right on the main square. the train station is not walking distance from the city centre but its easy to get a cab to and from and only takes about 10minutes.

The building is an old historic building and doesn't have a lift which wasn't a problem to us but may be to other guests but once you are aware of this and can manage your way around this then it isn't an issue.
