First of all, the hotel La Boheme has a great location! Although it is very close (a nice quick walk) from the Old Town of Bucharest, the place is tucked in between a few really quiet streets. So my sleep was really good, I slept like a baby, all quiet and nice. Really pleasant, modern with a vintage feel and clean rooms. The thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice! The free coffee bar was very enjoyable in the morning. Also the rooms have brand new flat screen smart TVs with Netflix included so you can binge watch your favourite show before sleep. Definetly recommend! The staff is very professional and they don't mind you asking silly questions. Robert & Alexandra were very funny and really helpful and kind. The restaurant has a secluded nice spot - a winery where you can gather with a few buddies and order amazing wines, beer and any strong spirits you wish for. Don't worry if you get drunk because the toilet is close enough and you can take the elevator back to your room. The schnitzel was amazing and the atmosphere is great. Tasty and enjoyfull. You might gain a couple of pounds but oh well... you must, and I mean MUST, order dessert. The papanasi are to die for. 🥃

The location is convenient and close to the Old City without all the noise of tourists passing through. Fairly priced for the comfort offered. The beds and pillows were good quality. It is also within walking distance of many good shops and restaurants.

The only problem is that the entrance to the hotel is the same as the entrance for the restaurant and terrace. Every time I came back to the hotel, the maître d’ of the restaurant would ask me if I had a reservation. Also lugging the bags through a full restaurant is not elegant.

The check-in was smooth and fast, young lady was very kind and professional. Would always ask us how we're doing and if we needed anything. Very pretty location and stylish interior. Room service was fantastic as well, always provided with a bottle of water.

No real complaints, bigger refridgerator would be nice.

It's a really nice property not far away from the city centre. (5 -10 min walk). The room was big enough, quiet and well equiped. The bed was very comfortable too. The staff was extremely kind and helpful.

The only problem was the smell coming from the restaurant which is very close to the hotel. Maybe this happened because it was apnoia in Bucharest when I was there.

It's a gem! Recently renovated, everything seems new and clean. It was a little hard to find at first. Near most of the sightseeing attractions but not in the middle of (which is my preference). A huge thanks to Gabriela. She made us feel so welcome, and all her suggestions were right on point 👉.

There are too many steps... to enter the hotel, then the lobby, no one really helps or offers to assist with luggage. Luckily, we only had small carry-ons. The place is also a well-known restaurant, lots of people all the time. Great music, though. Limited breakfast selection. Must train young staff in customer service protocol. If you were not eating there, there was a little rudeness. However, I will not discard this place as an option when visiting the city.

The hotel is at a great location, the rooms are very beautiful equipped with everything you need. The bathroom is clean and cosy. They provide fresh water everyday and very nice coffee and tea the whole day without additional charge! The staff was perfect, the girls at the reception very kind and polite! They have a great traditional restaurant with a garden with very good waiters, nice cocktails and food. Also the private parking is super! Highly recommend this place.

Avoid breakfast, it was out of the nice restaurant for lunch and dinner and was very poor. Practically there was nothing to eat. And this is not appropriate for such place. It needs huge improvement.

I really enjoyed my stay. I thought the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I do not know the history of the property, but the building has a lot of character, but also been modernly renovated. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of items. My room was very nice and comfortable. One funny thing is they provide terry cloth robs, which is awesome, but they've been washed and dried so many times, they are quite shrunken. ;) It was especially nice that they have Netflix (& maybe Prime?) loaded on the TVs, which I do not think I have ever seen in a hotel, plus english speaking channels like CNN & BBC, etc. There is a very nice and popular restaurant onsite, which I had one dinner at, and enjoyed. It's mostly a great outdoor patio, with a smaller indoor section as well. There seems to be private parties in the indoor section. They have a free coffee machine available 24 hours. It was a pretty convenient location, just a 5 minute walk to the old town and also a very short walk to Parliament. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I cannot think of any issues.

A small boutique hotel in a great location; The Palace of the Parliament and the old town are within a 10-minute walk; Hotel very clean, plus for the access to a coffee machine, a bottle of water in the room every day; Nice and helpful staff; we could order early breakfast before morning trip for which we thank you very much!

room with an extra bed very small, fold-out armchair as an extra bed - very poor; the hotel is on the first floor above the restaurant, you can hear noises from the restaurant until late; breakfast only from 08:00 and a'la carte with quite long waiting times - this is the weakest point, especially in a business trip, when you need to eat quickly and be at a meeting at a specific time;

Nice, new hotel in a good, quiet location only a short walk from the Old Town and 10 mins from the Metro. The room was very spacious, big TV with Netflix, was wonderfully dark at night and a comfy bed. Free coffee in an area just off the stairs, very nice.

Be aware the bar is quite loud on weekends, however, it seemed to have the music turned down/off at midnight. Otherwise it was very peaceful. One issue was the drainage on the shower. The water runs out through such a small exit and we had to keep turning shower on and off to allow it time to drain. These are the only reasons for not giving it a 10, as otherwise it was very well put together for a new property.

Boutique hotel with beautifully decorated rooms, each different than the other. The personnel is really polite and helpful, and really care about the hotel. Definitely a level higher than what would normally be rated as “excellent“. Very helpful that the hotel has its own parking, despite being located in the center of the city.

In many rooms there is no desk adequate for work. Not even enough for a laptop. For business travelers, it can be a disadvantage, so check the specific room if you have serious work to do.
