The hotel is in a good location, with shops nearby, restaurants, a mall, a pastry shop and a supermarket within walking distance. The rooms are clean and well equipped, the bed and pillow are comfortable, the air conditioning is cold. Breakfast was okay, the cold part was the same every day, the hot part varied daily, but it was never (or rarely) boring for a week. Sweet pastry was only on the last day, I don't understand why it wasn't there before. The staff is great, everyone is helpful, smiling, the reception ladies try to help with everything, if we wanted to go somewhere, they helped us get there, special thanks to Aisha.

The hotel has an indoor pool, but it was not working during our stay and we were not informed about it, even though we had chosen it so that we could cool off. The toilet was not working and the bathroom was jammed, but when we reported it they quickly fixed it.

The location was very close to the corniche. Reception area was very nice, and the lady at reception (Aisha) was very very friendly and helpful. The room itself was large and clean. A good amount of storage space - desk space, space for suitcase, fridge and wardrobe. The bathroom was nice and clean and there were some amenties. The staff allowed me to check out a couple of hours late. Breakfast was included, which had a good range, but I was not really feeling what they had on offer. I was expecting cakes etc. like shown in images somewhere but was disappointed. There was also a swimming pool available but I did not get the chance to try it.

Some of the staff in the breakfast area were approachable, but could have been a bit more smiley. The breakfast options, I did not really enjoy even though there was some good options.

The Location is near the Corniche on Palestine Street. Lots of Dining options nearby. Room size and comfortable beds

They don't seem to have a permanent Receptionist. In my 2 days of stay, I encountered 4 different Receptionists. The lady who checked me in didn't know the difference between a Double and Twin Bedroom. I was given the a Twin room and she was insistent on that being a Double room. Took me time to explain to her the difference. Due to Ramadan, the breakfast was served in the room at 2 am which was inconvenient.

The location was perfect because it is within the city proper. Accessible to all. The 2 girls in the front desk (forgot to ask their names) were very entertaining and smiling all thru out. They also speak English very well.

The food during breakfast is limited only and mostly arabic food although I eat arabic food but maybe next time there should be other variety so we can enjoy. Also mostly check in tenants our expats. I also did not like was that the swimming pool is only for men. They should have indicated in the booking that women are not allowed to swim because I was really disappointed. I was looking forward to swim and in our room there was a door connecting to another room which I find it wierd. The tenants in the other room were to noisy

The hotel backside which is the main road Palestine is walking distance to the corniche tallest fountain, nearby food chain and restaurant. Al Balad is nearby distance by taxi or Careem. Its 30mins from domestic airport. My room had big space , clean, comfortable bed , hot shower which i enjoyed. Toiletries available and slipper. Aircon is good. Wifi is good in the morning even at night but noontime quite slow. They have coffee shop in the lobby and nice reception The breakfast is good, had enough variety for me , they have beautiful 6th floor buffet area and its peaceful. Staff were all helpful and polite. I had a nice stay ..

The hotel is very nice, the room was spacious, nice, with everything a guest might need, including a kettle to make tea or coffee. There is a small gym and a small swimming pool in the hotel - both are OK, we used it during our stay. The stuff is very professional, nice and helpful. The hotel is located a few minutes from the promenade, right across the King Fahd Fountain. We liked everything in the hotel

- Location, near Al Hamra Corniche to view King Fahd's Fountain. Nearby, lots of shops and restaurant. - Quiet, located in the back street, even though nearby is busy commercial area. - Lobby and lounge were nicely decorated, though with plastic plant.

- I booked 2 nights, but during the check-in, the staff only charged 1 night, the next day the staff called whether I would check-out. - No light switch near bed, needed to stand to reach the switch. - The wall paper was poorly installed, there was tearing part. - Instant coffee powder was not provided, only tea bags. - The spring bed was not smooth, felt some area not flat.

Aquila is a very reasonably-priced gem in a popular part of town, equal distance from the old city to the south and the shopping hubs to the north - and within walking distance (700 metres) of the nearby Corniche. The hotel rooms are spacious and quiet, and even though the hotel is not new it has certainly been well-maintained. The stand-out feature is undoubtedly the breakfast, which packs a ounch and is definitely superiod to many five star hotel breakfasts we have had - the selection and the taste of everything we had during both days of our stay was simply excellent, and the breakfast restaurant staff were friendly, efficient and eager to please. Overall, an excellent choice for our arrival in KSA.

Carpets in the rooms in such a hot country seemed odd - but the air-con is so efficient that it certainly doesn't feel too hot in the room.

Value for the money. The room was spacious, well maintained and clean with all the amenities provided. The breakfast was nice with a variety of options. The staff was kind & helpful. Location is prime; in Al Hamra. Overall a great experience of 2 nights

The room had a damp smell when the air conditioner was turned off so it had to be kept on, on low temperatures. The parking space outside the hotel is not enough as there was no space to park at late hours. Although I did find parking space across the hotel building.

Great location, short walk to the waterfront at Corniche. Shops, restaurants, supermarket nearby. Spacious room, strong WIFI, perfectly quiet but still powerful AC. Fresh sheets, towels, new amenities every day. Breakfast was ok and affordable. They were also very generous in regard to check-out. Was able to stay until 15:00 without paying extra.
