Excellent location, friendly staff

Our toilet worked intermittently. We reported it and maintenance came. It worked for a couple of days but then would work on and off. We often used the toilet on the basement level.

Fantastic location close to Tube and Bus. Close to Queensway. Breakfast was great. Comfortable bed, room size was perfect for our requirements. I can see it could be hard for people with limited mobility for some stairs on each level and using shower over bath but we were fine.

No complaints. Loved it and would stay again.

Breakfast could have been better in terms of provision . It didn’t have full cooked options . One of the coffee machines was not working hence a long queue . We experienced a wait to be seated for breakfast ( it was 9am) but the manager did his best to seat us as quickly as he could

Great Location , great receptionist Dina . Always will to assist been using this Hotel past 30 years . Just a pity Mohammed the day Manager left .

All Good , maybe paint the front entrances , maybe an update can work .

The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety.

The room needs renovation, the bathroom was really old and had a few cracks here and there.

Staff engagement and service

Continental breakfast was litteratur with poor assortment. Two coffee machines were down to one in morning making a significant cew line.

Quiet location and homely atmosphere.

Although it warned about water being very hot no hot water the last morning. Also lost power for a time just as about to dry hair with hairdryer .

Booked family room, the room was fantastic with plenty of space to move around. Room was very clean with a small fridge which is a n added bonus, great location for Hyde Park with some fantastic puds and restaurants very close by.

All was good for our 2 night stay

Our room was spacious, the beds and pillows were comfy and air conditioning was a great escape from the unseasonal heat and sun we had during our week in London. The breakfast was included in our reservation and was an excellent start to our mornings -- lots of fresh food and great to see gluten- and dairy-free options. Several months ahead of time we requested an early check-in, knowing we'd be arriving mid-morning on a red-eye flight, and were so thrilled and thankful to arrive to find our room was ready. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location was close to so many great neighbourhoods, transit options, restaurants and shops. The area felt very safe to walk around as two young women, and being across from beautiful Hyde Park was a huge plus. We would absolutely come back in the future.

Continental breakfast was ideal for us. Staff were friendly and continually replenished the breakfast items. Housekeeping staff helpful when a sheet requested instead of full duvet. Friendly Porter was knowledgeable about bus routes, directions etc and pre-booked a taxi to take us to Euston when we decided not to travel by tube as a result of my sisters mobility limitation.

Lounge not emphasised. On the evening of 16 or 17 October, when bar staff member was on a break, no substitute was available . When approached, a female receptionist explained she would not serve behind the bar because she was untrained. Although we had been served and were seated, at least 5 couples decided to go back out to a nearby bar rather than wait to be served.
