It actually was alright. I was a bit concerned with reviews but it wasn't half bad . Rooms were very clean and looked nice especially considering prices , the location is good and very close to underground. Guy at the reception was very welcoming and nice, had a good laugh with him . So all in all it was a pleasant stay .

The only suggestion I would give - guys , if you are concerned about doors banging , please, spend £20 to buy rubber buffers for doors, so they would prevent it . It is quite weird and unpleasant when stuff is chasing you around the hotel and asking not to smash doors not in the most polite manner . The doors are closing very slowly on they're own and accelerate at the very end , what people don't really expect

The gentleman that welcomes us and was working on reception for our whole stay was very kind and welcoming. The hotel room and bathroom was very clean.

We paid for a deluxe and on the photo it looked like it was going to be a bigger room. There was a tv bracket on the wall but no tv (it may of been broken and getting fixed) The room was very very hot! The window was open all night but the room still felt like a sweat box making it very difficult to slept. The only mirror in the room was in the bathroom which is totally fine but there was 2 girls saying in the room making it longer for us to get ready and we was only staying for 1 night. A mirror in the bedroom would simply solve this 😊

The hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood near Hyde Park. The area feels safe and it is very well connected to all tourist sites. Although the interior of the room was basic, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and ours in particular was spotless. Adi, the reception guy, was very kind and attentive.

It is high time they added a small table or an additional small cupboard, where guests could place their stuff. Coffee and tea facilities would be a great idea too. Those, in my opinion, would raise the hotel's rating significantly as most travelers would love it.

Great location, near 2 underground’s which was ideal for us to travel around the areas for sightseeing. Also we paid for the “toot-bus” on and off tour, and one of the stops was right next to the hotel which was great! Staff was super friendly, especially the Romanian lady who we typically saw in the evenings when returning (didn’t get her name unfortunately). Our room was a fantastic size, as there was 3 of us was a little worried that we’d be cramped, but it was huge. Also very clean.

We stayed here as a group of 5 girls for a couple of nights away. The hotel staff were super friendly and approachable. The location was brilliant with the nearest tube station a stones throw away and would absolutely recommend walking to Buckingham palace through Hyde Park, it was a beautiful walk on a lovely spring morning. The rooms were clean with plenty of space. There was a tonne of shops, pubs, fast-food and restaurants less than a 5 minute walk away. We felt that we received exactly what we paid for our stay. We couldn’t have stayed anywhere else without paying much more for our stay.

I feel this property would benefit from a side table in the rooms with tea and coffee making facilities and coat pegs as we had nowhere to hang our coats. Other that that I really can’t fault OYÓ Townhouse Apollo.

Me & my son stayed at this hotel due to the location, and for how cheap it was, it was a lovely room. I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews about the rooms but Our room was lovely. We stayed in room 203 and we had no issues. It was like the photos, clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a telly for entertainment in the night. The guy on the front desk (I’m so sorry didn’t get your name) was so polite and helpful. Shops are 3 mins around the corner with loads of places to eat, the underground is on the same road as the shops and hype park is across the road. I could have definitely stayed more than one night here :) when we come back to London I’d most likely come back here. Thanks again! You really can’t moan for the price you are paying. 🤩

So far, so good. Overall, we loved our stay in this hotel, the staff was really nice and accommodating. He also asked us how we were and if we're enjoying our stay and if there's anything he can help us. Other than that, facility wise, we liked our room very much (comfy, safe and clean). We will probably come back and choose this hotel again on our next holiday. It's very worth it and we'll definitely recommend this to our friends. Just 2-3 mins away from underground and we could really go anywhere we wanted since everything is accessible from there. Thumbs-up to the accommodating staff and to this hotel.

clean. the man on reception was so friendly&helpful. he went above and beyond to help us. our room was clean regardless of other problems. bedding was clean. slept good. quiet.

The bathroom had a very bad sewage smell. we had to keep bathroom door closed to due to this. rooms where very very basic no tea&coffee facilities. stains on carpet and room could do with walls paints and sorting due to scrapes on wall. we knew room was basic before we stayed. however was okay to stay.

Lovely hotel, room and staff. The stay at short notice was smooth, the staff pleasant and the room was very nice at a good price. I have no complaints from the individual hotel or the staff there. Corporate OYO on the other hand are a different matter.

Between Booking.com and OYO I was double booked and billed for the same room twice. I have called 5 times to rectify this issue and get a refund for the 2nd each time speaking with the hotel, OYO corporate and booking.com on conference calls. They all agree to issue the the refund and then do nothing, because between the 3 of them they cannot send an email! Poor, poor customer service and I highly recommend you think seriously about staying in one of these hotels, because if anything goes wrong you are in real trouble.

It was really clean and in the perfect location, with the metro just in 2 minutes and the Kensington and Hyde parks just within the minutes. The staff was good and helpful.

I can’t say I didn’t like anything. I just didn’t pay attention when I was booking the room that they don’t have a kettle in the room, which is a little bit inconvenient when you want to drink tea or coffee right in the room. That’s it.
