Almost everything was great - room was great- loads of space and storage, junior suite had a large bedroom, lobby area with wardrobes, large bathroom and large balcony with table chairs and sun loungers. Room cleaned thoroughly each day and the cleaners came flexibly when we needed them. Good fridge in the room with space to keep water bottles cool etc. Location was perfect for the centre of Sitges and the beach and restaurants etc.

Personal preference but as a tourist from Northern Europe I am less used to the warm weather and value a powerful aircon so that I can sleep in a cool bedroom. The aircon was just about adequate but the weather wasn’t particularly hot during our stay - I still found sleeping a bit uncomfortable as the aircon couldn’t keep the room as cool as I would have liked. It was fine during the daytime as it kept the room cool enough to relax but just made it hard for me to sleep on a few nights.

Comfortable room with balcony and lateral sea view, in a relatively modern hotel compared to others in Sitges. Good quality breakfast (although always the same options to choose from), great pool bar with lunch/tapas and reasonably priced room service. Friendly and helpful staff.

The pool is really tiny, probably because the beach is right across the street, but it's sometimes nice to hang out at the pool and that's difficult when it's this small compared to the hotel size. Some extra facilities, such as a jacuzzi or wellness area, are missing for a hotel in this price range.

1. Really friendly and accommodating - reception staff 2. Beds were very comfortable 3. Bottled water everyday 4. I cannot stress this enough but the shower was AMAZING! Real power showers! 5. Double sinks were a nice surprise. 6. Loved the privacy on the balcony and such a great view of the sea. 7. The patio sliding doors offered good sound proofing - my son pointed out to me! I could not hear his conversations on the balcony when the door was closed! 8. Central, close to everything. 9. Hotel does a good deal with sun lounges and para sol on the Beach nearby. 9. Terraza food is good- we really enjoyed it.

1. Toilet was quite low. 2. You cannot sleep in past 0900 because as people leave in the morning the doors start slamming- very irritating. 3. Sometimes you have to remind cleaners to leave some towels - but everyone is so nice - so not a problem. 4. There is a kettle but no posh coffee maker.

The staff were nice & helpful throughout the hotel, particularly those at reception & in the restaurant (I didn't use the bar or have any contact with cleaning staff). My room was a good size & plenty of wardrobe/drawer space for my short visit. My evening meal in the restaurant was excellent & I found it good value for money too. The location is excellent for exploring from, really easy to be at the beach/on the promenade or into the town for shops/cafes/restaurants.

The pool is a lot smaller than I expected, but it's a nice addition. With the sea & beaches so close, there are alternative options to use!

Prime location at the beach. This place is quite legendary in Sitges. It’s a big beautiful Hotel, the views are unmatched and the location couldn’t be better. Beds are very comfy, strong AC and big bathrooms too. Very clean! Staff is very kind and friendly always.

It’s very busy at all times; the restaurant is ok but don’t expect great food quality. It’s not bad by any means, but portions and finishes are below the surrounding restaurants. In general the Hotel is pricey overall. But that’s Sitges for you. The pool is tiny and ice cold!

The location was wonderful, as was the staff. The restaurant was an excellent value. Once the issue with our original room was resolved, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The morning after our arrival, I happened to pull back the bottom of the top sheet and found blood stains and what appeared to be black bugs. The inspector came, checked the room, and cleared it. I did not agree and was prepared to check out. If it wasn't bed bugs, my initial impression, then it was poor housekeeping. They found us an upgraded room, and we were satisfied with the resolution. Other than that, I thought the pool was a bit small for a hotel of it's size and people tended to claim the lounge chairs for extended periods of time without even using them. I wish there had been more oversight to that. I would definitely recommend the hotel to any friends who might be visiting Barcelona and looking to add on a beach experience.

We have been visiting Sitges for almost 30 years, but this was our first stay at the Calipolis Hotel. Our experience was fantastic, thanks to its prime location and excellent amenities. Room 422 offered stunning sea views, providing us with a serene backdrop for relaxation. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring a wide variety of delicious hot and cold options to start our day. The staff were remarkably friendly and attentive, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience throughout our stay. I would highly recommend the Calipolis for a superb getaway.

Hotel positioned on the sea front with excellent views. Rooms were kept spotless. Staff friendly. Safe in Room. Lovely seaside town, there are lots of walks. Bar/restaurant choice is excellent. I noticed that there were plenty of options for vegans. There is a thriving shopping centre with lots of boutique shops. We also happened on a nudist beach for those who want to let it hang loose.

There was a large bathroom without a bidet or bath. I have been in better facilities in 3 * hotels. 6' wide bed that took up most of the room. The room was quite expensive for its size and I think a premium was put on the view, but of course one does not live on the balcony. Breakfast although ample with an amazing choice let the customer down with the 'hot' breakfast that was invariably lukewarm. Lighting was poor in the room everything was subdued.

I was recommended this hotel and it did not disappoint. From the moment I was greeted at the front desk all of the staff were incredible and special shout to Alex who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable with every extra you would expect from a hotel like this. The pool and bar areas made excellent meeting points before heading out and the proximity to the beach was amazing. I won’t be staying anywhere else from now on and look forward to my return!

Gorgeous views of the Sea. Lovely walking path to downtown and serious but kind and engaging staff like Paolo. The breakfast was great and the indoor and outdoor pool was a great combination to this trip.where the Atlantic Ocean was freezing each day. The balcony was a great touch

The room needs coffee and tea as most hotels provide. The spa was lacking some amenities and felt more like a refurbished section of a school gym rather than a luxe aspect of the trip. I was there with my daughter and we both agreed. But we did enjoy it all the same.
