Good location close to the river and train station. Comfortable room, loved that it had an air purifier and other thoughtful little touches. The lobby was very warm & inviting.

Our room wasn't ready till close to 5pm eventhough check-in is at 3pm. Would have been nice if we were offered a complimentary drink while we waited. We asked for late check out on the day of our departure as we had a late flight but the front desk staff said that if they let us check out late, then the next guests will have to wait for their room like we did. Then why did they give the guests before us a late check out then? If they didn't, then no one would have had to wait for their rooms.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The design is lovely, and the room was spacious and clean. I appreciated the little touches like the yoga mat, which was perfect for my daily stretching, and the face mask that helped keep my skin moisturized. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the location was great—within walking distance to many tourist spots. I also liked that coffee, tea, and chocolate were always available.

Housekeeping came a bit too early in the morning. Also, while I know tap water is safe to drink, it felt a bit odd to drink water from the bathroom sink—it would be nicer to have a bottle of water provided in the room.

Brilliant location located in downtown but pretty central for everything you want to do. Staff are brilliant. Always happy, smiling, friendly and ready to help with local hints and tips. Free coffee machine in room and reception is a lovely touch, as is the sweet treats each afternoon. River View room with view is spectacular.

Everything! Room size, location, staff, clean, comfort, views - this is a perfect hotel if you’re looking to visit Chicago and stay in Downtown!

Great location less than one block from Chicago River and Michigan Ave. Easy walking to the Art Institute, theaters, Millennium And Grant Park, lake front, Navy Pier, museums, shopping and awesome restaurants. Perfect location for several days in the city. Took the orange line from Midway into the loop and walked two blocks to the hotel. Hotel was great! Very clean, quiet, black out curtains for a dark room at night, very comfy bed and linens, very clean spacious rooms. Staff always greet you with welcome back and smiles. Always a doorman so feels very safe. Complementary offers and teas always available. Hotel restaurant had very nice breakfasts but ate out for other meals. I will gladly stay here again my next visit to Chicago. AND complimentary NYTs Every day!! Very good free WiFi and no extra fees!

The L7 Chicago by LOTTE is a brand new and outstanding hotel with a fantastic location and extremely friendly staff. Antonio will take care of your car immediately upon your arrival, and the check-in process at the front desk is effortless (the front desk personnel were friendly and professional). Hot drinks and popcorn were made available to all guests. Andreas took meticulous care of the beverage area and even showed us the process of making our drinks in the multi-purpose automatic hot beverage maker. The fact that they have fresh ground coffee in stock is awesome. The size of the room is impressive, and the window seating area is a welcome addition. We opted for a room that had a river view, but it wasn't a direct view, but rather a side view. However, it was still a pleasant sight instead of a building wall up front. Courtney provided a great checkout service and even offered to call for our car to be brought up front. This was the most expeditious valet wait we experienced.

They offer room service, but we were unable to order due to confusion with the QR code's room number printed in the room.

Delightful staff, location, decor, amenities. Air purifier in the room! Yoga mat, too! Hydrating face masks! Free latte machine. Really thoughtful touches, wonderful place.

For me the most important factor in a business stay is that I sleep well the night before a big meeting. Unfortunately the bed was too soft and I was tossing and turning all night. I am sure others would be fine, but I wouldn’t come back for a business stay for this reason - and I certainly can’t imagine sleeping in this style of bed with another (heavier) partner, I’d be sinking into their side of the bed all night. Prefer a more supportive bed. Otherwise awesome place.

LOVE this hotel. Staff are exceptional, super friendly and fun, just seem like they genuinely like coming to work, love that! Hotel is in a great location, is good value for money, has spacious rooms, and great decor all round. It's got a super cool vibe but is also comfortable and cozy and I LOVE the fact that the taps in the rooms are filtered for drinking (tasted so fresh and cool) because im so over spending $10 on a bottle of warm bottled hotel water.

My only wish is that they eventually extend the coffee area, its just too small and there was a bit of a queue everytime we came downstairs but to be fair there was good coffee options in the room anyway.

It was a great hotel for a short work visit to Chicago. The only downside is that we had a room with no view, but other than that, really enjoyed the room, the lounge was great to work from, had a more than decent fitness center and complimentary water and coffee at all times.

I was able to do the early check-in but I had to pay an extra $75. I had gotten there at 6 am and it wasn't planned, so the room was clearly ready and feels a bit stupid that I have to pay for it when they didn't have extra work.

Everything. Particularly the window seat, comfy bed, decor and general new and clean feel. Location was perfect for what I needed. Right on the edge of the Loop by the river, perfect for walking over to the north or shopping. Handy to have a coffee machine but the machine etc in the lobby also helpful.

I was on 14 so it didn’t bother me but I’d imagine lower floors get slightly more traffic noise. The windows are likely as sealed as possible so I don’t know how this is avoidable anywhere in the city centre though.

I loved my stay here! The hotel rooms and lobby are very nice, clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located so I was able to walk everywhere, including taking the Blue Line train from O'Hare and walking to/from the Clark/Lake station to the hotel easily. The coffee and filtered water station in the lobby are very useful and came in handy. The coffee machine and window seat in the room are also great features to wind down and start your day. There is also a mini fridge in the room, TV with some good channels, air purifying machine, face masks and some light gym equipment. I would definitely stay again!

Since the hotel is centrally located on the River, there is traffic noise from below which I imagine is the case for every hotel on the River. However, I was still able to sleep well through the night.
