The staff at East on Byron were absolutely delightful! They were so accommodating and helpful. They were also very tolerant of our many questions and enquiries. We stayed here for our wedding and got ready with the bridal party on the morning of the big day. We had the loveliest time getting out hair and make up done in the fresh air on the balcony. It was the perfect space for us to spread out and relax.

We had an issue with the wifi for the first couple of days of our stay. We informed hotel staff and followed instructions to try to fix the problem. Ultimately one of our guests ended up fixing it.

the Appartment was excellent (no 17) and had huge space and lovely balcony with BBQ set up. the bedrooms were spacious and clean. nice pool downstairs and we were right across from a lovely beach. close enough to Byron shopping centre but just enough away for it to be very peaceful. very good location and very well set up apartment.

there was not much to not like but being super picky it would have been nice to maybe have some more activities for the kids ie table tennis or pool/games room. but honestly with the beach and pool this is not a big deal.

Byron Bay is always an amazing and relaxing experience. In my opinion it has one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia, you can walk endless along the beach, the water is warm and clear, the waves are excellent for surfers. East on Byron is just a few steps from Belongil beach, we usually walk from our accommodation at Belongil beach to Byron Bay Center for breakfast or dinner which takes us 20 Minutes, just perfect!

Unfortunately both accommodation and food are on the more expensive side.

Short stroll, less than 100 paces, to the beach entrance, and a 20min walk along the beach to the Main Street. Great local vibe with many international travellers. Restaurant next door to property has live music and wood fired pizza - not to mention good coffee after a morning swim! Clean, comfortable, well equipped rooms with lovely leafy surrounds.

Belongil Beach is a dog beach, and there are plenty of them, but there’s also plenty of Beach to spread out on.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom penthouse and it was excellent, very comfortable, large apartment with private pool and bbq. The location was excellent as we were across the road from the entry to the beach and about a 20 minute walk along beach into town.

The courtyard was lovely and green with private pool (although a bit cold!) and large outdoor table, although we didn’t expect to be surrounded by other apartments. But it was still very quiet and peaceful.

The units are very spacious and lovely for a family event. The property is right across from the beach and is about a 20 minute walk from the centre of town. This means where you stay is nice and quiet and a bit away from it all but still close enough that you can arrive, put your car keys away and just enjoy your break in Byron. It was our third stay in three years and I am certain we will spoil ourselves with a weekend away in 2026.

Amazing property. Very friendly and helpful staff with lots of local information. Pool area is lovely, with sun-beds available. Beach just across the road. Lovely restaurant next door. Walk to ByronBay town ~ 15 mins along beach, just watch out for the incoming tide ! Wish we could have stayed longer !!

Nothing ... it was all fab !

Apartment was immaculate; modern and spacious and well equipped. Nice, quiet location; close to the beach. Though it's a pleasant 20 minute walk into town along the beach, we were glad to have a car to get into Byron for dinner. Lovely pool area too.

The only negative was the second bathroom. Shower is in the bath and water does tend to go everywhere. Also, no fan in the bathroom.

Location is fabulous, not far from the action but in a quiet area. Apmt was spacious and comfortable. The staff were so amazing, filling us in on local restaurants and places to visit. We will be back!

Had a little noise from the neighbors but not for long. Also the shutters in the bedroom let in quite a lot of light first thing in the morning. Block out double blinds would be better, but the shutters look good.

The villa was great, location was perfect.

Toiletries must be improved. The little bottles of cheap shampoo/conditioner and cheap little soap bars are not in line with the property and price point. Plus it’s not a sustainable solution. Please add large bottles of good quality products that can be refilled when needed.
