Location was great - right on the harbor. Could walk to numerous shops and restaurants. Our room had lots of space and it was bright and clean. We had booked a room with a balcony which was private and overlooked the harbor. It was lovely and so much going on to watch. There was parking available right at the hotel. They provided all the essential items that you might require. There were boat tours and lots of activities to do in the area.

We had no problems here. However, I was not feeling well and we sadly decided it was best to leave early and get home.

The hotel is in ideally a central location and on the back side of the hotel with a lake view down the path there are K Tours buses(Hop On and Hop Off Buses) and same with K Tours Ferry for the evening if you are taking. The location is just a 4-5 minutes walk to Beaver Trail, Mio Gelato Ice Cream etc.

The hotel breakfast didn't meet my expectations, there were not as many choices as it was advertised in booking.com The breakfast was cheaper at the hotel ($22/person+ taxes) compared to what we paid through booking.com ($25/person+ taxes).

We didn't have the breakfast due to dietary restrictions, but the extraordinary location and views, particularly on the south facing side, immediate access to all dowtown attractions, restaurants and the university, the new, beautifully modern, carefully maintained and cleaned, spacious rooms and balconies, all far exceeded our expectations, especially considering the Waterfront Holiday charged considerably less than the other downtown hotels I had looked at. We were actually kind of shocked. We were just sorry we couldn't stay another night!

There was nothing I didn't like. I expected to be up all night with noise throughout the hotel from the many guests who were there for the Vanier Cup football game. Instead, there was absolute silence in our hotel room, and I ended up having one of the best sleeps I've had in a long time.

The location was perfect - right downtown and walking distance to everything. I also liked that it was on the waterfront. The bar downstairs was great - great view and service. Service overall through the whole hotel was great - very friendly and welcoming.

I feel like it likely allowed smoking at some point as the hallways and room didn’t smell fresh. My balcony was also a little disappointing as I was on the far edge of the building, closest to the city and while I had a lake view, a large wall to the side didn’t make it feel inviting. The balcony was also dirty so I didn’t sit out there even though that was the reason I upgraded my room.

The location was epic, close to the wharf of our boat trip arranged and just one road away from the downtown main street. The room was clean and had a nice view to the lake, comfortable linen. Staff were helpful and we enjoyed the stay here.

The USB/ socket port next to the working table was not functioning, I had to use my laptop on my thigh next to another socket. The room is slightly dark and the air conditioning was a bit noisy.

Great tourist location, practically in the center of the city. Comfy rooms, nice views (harbor views recommended). Restaurant at the hotel (Wharf & Feather) was really good. Breakfast (not included in the price of stay), lunch and dinner were quite good, many options to choose from.

The restaurant in the hotel closes a bit too early though (9pm). The kitchen closed 30 minutes before the stated end of the dinner. The buffet option at the breakfast could be stated more clearly.

The location is fantastic- waterfront, right by where the boats board for the islands cruise :) Additionally, they allow dogs which is a big +++ in my opinion.

1. BAD CHECK IN We arrived at 3PM, when check in was beginning. We were told our room is not ready, to come back in 40min. When we returned, the front desk clerk said she does not know if our room is ready, she would have to go and check. Then trued to do nothing, until my husband said: “then please go”. 2. RESTAURANT Their restaurant is below average and their photos are photoshopped- not what is in the me u. We ordered the halibut with french fries. I make better french fries, and my french fries are so bad, I stopped making them :D 3. ROOM TEMPERATURE CONTROL I can see why other reviewers said their A/C could not be regulated- it is old and the control is questionable. Our room felt cold throughout the night.

Really nice staff. Check in went smooth. The location is really good. You can walk to the waterfront and there are all kinds of pubs and restaurants. There’s a really good atmosphere in town. Beds were good. In general a really good experience.

Maybe I’m used to European breakfasts, but I missed some cheese or meat to put on bread. It was all really sugary. Luckily there was some fresh fruit!

Very good breakfast options. Price comparable to uptown breakfast establishments. Waterfront location and it's proximity to downtown core were superb. We will definitely return.

Pricey! $40 per night for parking - discounted to $30 if staying at hotel.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good in quality and had a nice range of options. The restaurant had excellent food with healthy choices. Staff was helpful in providing information for how to explore the city and its sights.

No safety boxes in rooms and tiny safety boxes at reception. Since the entrance to floors and hallways with rooms was not restricted (e.g., non monitored side entrance freely accessible), we ended up carrying things like laptops with us, which was a bit inconvenient for activities.
