Excellent location, clean rooms and daily housekeeping. Staff very welcoming, courteous, friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, SEE MY COMMENT BELOW. Reasonable choices for the breakfast.

Theft of ZAR8000 in cash from the safe in my room during the day of Friday 6th October 2023. Whilst I accept it was my fault for not securing the safe before a very early start, and there are clear signs to secure all valuables, that the hotel does not take any responsibility, whoever entered my room during that day stole my money from the safe. Nothing else was taken thankfully. I reported it straight away to Management, an investigation took place, and I quote; "The investigation did not identify any conclusive evidence or negligent acts on the part of the hotel staff or our contractors." I hope my money made a difference to the thief/thieves.

Clean and fantastic location

The club nearby was loud all night, but it finally quieted down at 5am, giving me a chance to catch some sleep. Breakfast, however, left much to be desired. They offered only scrambled eggs, beans, bacon, and sausages, with no pastries available.

Location is in walking distance to Waterfront and there are many restaurants and bars around the hotel. Area around hotel was safe to navigate at night. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and the buffet food was fine although not master chef standard.

Hotel advertises airport shuttle. They don't have a shuttle but organize a private taxi ($$$). Better to just take Uber ($) from and to the airport.

Upon check out I took the room keys back to reception and I think the reception lad name was Aphiwe or something and he was so abit cold.Just greeted and when I informed that the shower drain was blocked in room561 it was almost like a brush off"thanks for letting us know",did not even bid a farewell.Even though I'm local guest you should treat your guest equally. As I'm also in hospitality I know how to treat my guest and not that I'm doing a comparison but just letting you know off staff interaction with local guest.

The location is perfect for a family setup. The buffet breakfast with family was a win and there was easy access to other activities you might require outside the hotel. The diversity of the people booked at the hotel highlights inclusivity of all people.

The staff was not friendly except for the Manager of the breakfast hall and the security guard at parking entrance. We requested for assistance regarding disposal of a sanitary towel and did not get help. The pool side is too small and not child friendly as it is close to the bar, outdoor sitting of the bar does not have enough sitting space.Please consider having an entertainment area for kids.

I liked the cleanliness of the room. The location was perfect as we attended an event in Bree Street which was down the road of the venue of the event. The breakfast was great, I thoroughly enjoyed the croissants with egg, bacon & cheese.

The window in our room was faulty so when we opened it for a bit we struggled and couldn't get the window closed again and ended up having to sleep with an open window. Other than that, there wasn't anything else I didn't like.

The check-in process was a breeze did not wait long at all, from the lobby to the hotel room the place was spotless very very clean which I really love, the room I got was not on the big side, however, the way it was laid out made up for it, everything was conveniently placed making it easy for you as the traveler to move around and be comfortable, the rooms are nice and quite making it great to relax , rewind and reset, the bathroom is a little on the small side but defiantly very functionable.

This is my 3rd time and still good value for money. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Staff at breakfast were really great and accommodating. Beds are really comfortable and even though you in the city there's no noise. It's also great that you have access to the rooftop bar at their sister hotel next door.

This might not be something that the establishment could help, but the water in the bathroom was lukewarm at best, did not get hot, and so it felt like a cold shower. Not sure if this was related to 4 hour loadshedding and the generator capacity, but it should be investigated. The one lift wouldn't let us key to our room floor, and we had to go to reception twice. Fortunately, the young lady at reception was great, and we had to use another lift because that one wasn't working. Again, I'm not sure if this was related to generator capacity due to loadshedding.

Wendy was amazing to allow us an early check in which we desperately needed as we had to get ready and rush out for my graduation. The room had the most stunning 180 degree view of the city which was pretty amazing. Breakfast was great, with a wide variety of meals which we enjoyed. There is loadshedding backup . The shower looked nice and almost new like it'd just been installed- which made gave a nicely hygienic feel. I had dropped a container with my many sets of sentimental earrings when I checked out. I realized the following day and when I called everyone from reception to housekeeping was very helpful and assisted in getting my jewellery back to me in order. I cannot mention them all by names but I was very pleased with the overall service, thank you truly.

Hot water system seem to be slow in heating in the early hours of the morning and evening, perhaps due to the number of occupants. Twin beds are too small... check twin bed from Holiday in Express CBD, room 1115. Lighting in room makes it difficult for occupants to control lights to meet their needs without disturbing the other person.
