Excellent place for the stay in Cape Town. The hotel is a treasure in the heart of the city. Staff is amazing.

The standard room was excellent. It was well-appointed, large enough for a couple, and clean. The breakfasts (not included in the Booking.com price of the standard room) were delicious. We had croissants, cappuccino, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, and muesli every day. There was also a full English breakfast available. This small boutique hotel has several rooms where breakfast tables are set out in the morning, so there was no crowding.

The room was next to the laundry room of the cleaning staff. We could hear them talking in the afternoon when we took our naps. A pillow over the head or an audio book took care of the issue. Other than that, we had no problems with any noise, either day or night.

Having stayed here some 16 years ago, we were a little anxious as we thought it might not be as good as it used to be. Well, I'm pleased to say it is just as good as it was in 2007. It's a lovely old 16th century building with masses of character that maintains both its charm and comfort. The deluxe room (103) was wonderful, with everything from a pillow menu to roll top bath, tropical rain shower, mini bar, polished original cedar floors etc. The staff were as attentive and friendly as ever and happy to help with any questions or guidance about Cape Town.

Much of Heritage Square, where the hotel is located, has been redeveloped, with a great selection of eateries and bars immediately behind and to the side of the hotel. Although this is very convenient, it does mean, especially at weekends, that there is quite a bit of street noise filtering into the room. This the price we have to pay for CT becoming such a vibrant city, so if you want to be in the centre and love the charm and liveliness of the area, it's a reasonable price to pay. Just be aware.

The rooms are lovely and spacious, staff are extremely helpful and breakfast in the court yard was very nice.

We knew this hotel is in the heart of Cape Town therefore we requested prior to arriving a quiet room. Sadly, it was anything but and we got hardly any sleep on the first night due to music and boy-racers on the street. Sunday however was very peaceful. There is a hot-tub on the roof, honestly, it's a joke. every restaurant kitchen within the square funnels their extractor fumes to the same area. If you're happy to sit in an uncleaned hot-tub smelling of burger fat, then go for it, we declined a much needed hot-tub after arriving from a 5 hour car journey, Shame :(

Cape Heirtage Hotel is situated in the heart of Cape Town’s trendiest cafes, bars and restaurants. It was awesome to walk around and have a huge selection of treats at our fingertips. Our room was gorgeous , well sized, tastefully furnished, and comfortable. We also had a terrace overlooking the courtyard.

Being a Saturday and being in n the city we were expecting some noise, but the courtyard that our room overlooked is surrounded by some restaurants and bars and the weekend patrons were definitely noisier than what we expected. The noise went on until ~1am. The hotel did provide ear plugs though. If you’re in need of an early night it’s advisable to ask for a room that doesn’t face the courtyard.

The hotel has great character and is in a central location in Cape Town, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. In fact, the hotel adjoins a courtyard with a great burger restaurant in it. The staff were very efficient and helpful. Our room was enormous, with high ceilings and lots of seating areas. Great coffee machine, with lots of capsules, in the room.

There is a lot of music noise until 11pm on weekdays, and 1am on weekends from the adjacent bar. The hotel does supply ear plugs. Surprisingly, the noise did not actually keep us awake.

It was a hotel with character, history, and service excellence.

Coffee (but easy to remedy as many excellent coffee shops close to the hotel)

Wonderful historic building in the center of Cape Town! My room was spacious and well furnished and I especially appreciated the modern bathroom, natural light and comfortable bed. Breakfast on the patio had lots of choices (including eggs cooked to order!). There were several restaurants in close proximity as well as walking distance to important historical sites. The staff were delightful, always ready to offer suggestions and directions.

The air conditioning unit in my room was somewhat noisy.

what an amazing experience we had at cape heritage hotel. First of all, our suit was excellent and felt like we went back to 1771. It was so clean, especially the bathroom. the breakfast was OMG, fantastic. The most facinating part was the staff, they treqted us like family. When i made the reservation i told them that we will celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday and i want this birthday to be memorable. on the day of her birthday, during the breakfast, staff came with a cake with candles and sand birthday song and when we came back to our room after a day tour we found the room was decorated with baloons and happy birthday signs. all free of charge and my daughter could not express her happiness. If we go back to CT again our hotel address will be the same. special thanks to Sam and Bemford.

In a great location, close to nice bars and restaurants within the complex and across the road. Not too noisy except for one night on the 1st when everyone celebrates each month. The room was really big and the bathroom was great. The bed was very comfortable and we were able to sleep well after a 36 hour flight. The staff - Sam and Hilton were extra lovely and the breakfast was really good. Would recommend and will come back to stay.

The old keys they use all over Cape Town make it a little hard to lock and unlock your room. But the hotel still felt very safe.
