The room was perfect, super nice. The breakfast was also good.

We had a party earlier on, the food was nice but the portions were too 'counted ' if you get what i mean, only 8 people got the starter because it was finished and was never replenished, the bowls used were too small for the number of people, really that was small. That was my only disappointment and secondly when something was finished, it took longer for the waiters to come back with extras. We then bought 2 x 5 litre bottles of juice, to this day i cannot believe that one bottle cost us over R600,00 it's unthinkable, it's exorbitantly very high, for simple juice, 2 x 5litre bottles we paid R 1 200 plus, sad indeed. Other the that the portions are really too small, everything went very well.

Although my choice of wine was not available, your duty manager, Mr M, was most accommodating. His attitude around the matter was also exemplary. In fact, ALL your staff were extremely pleasant and informed. A credit must go to your general manager or your training department. On the negative side, although it has nothing to do with the hotel itself, I am a longstanding Prokard holder, and as much as I tried for a full 2 months, I could not redeem my free night voucher at the hotel (as was also the case with all the Protea hotels in JHB). All I got was SOLD OUT, and despite various calls to various departments, no one could help. I did however get my discounts at dinner and breakfast

Nice variety of food at the breakfast buffet. Restaurant food by the pool very tasty Pool area spacious Rooms were spacious enough for a couple and clean. Location to restaurants was great.

We were expected to pay for 2 days of parking when we only stayed 1 night. However, the issue was dealt with after a discussion with front of house staff.

Perfect location in a gated area with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops located within the gated area.

The hotel represents excellent value, breakfast buffet was superb and the staff were lovely.

Room was neat and tidy. It was located close to the conference centre that I needed to attend. Staff were friendly at check-in and made sure that my bag was in my room when I arrived.

I asked twice if an earlier check-in was possible as I flew in from Cape Town that morning and needed to be at an event at 12:00. I was still not able to check-in earlier, but was allowed to use a shower room to get dressed.

Nice room, modern architecture, friendly staff, hop on hop off stop near, possibility to do shopping in Melrose Arch, nice and safe environment, good restaurant with African meals, design hotel

Only a small issue with the safe, which had to be repaired twice

Fantastic location. All amenities are within walking distance including restaurants and shops. Parking underground right next to the hotel is great. Since it's within a gated business park it also feels safe to walk around.

The room was really comfortable, and enjoyed every moment. Breakfast was exceptional. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The fitness center was a bit small for my liking, otherwise clean. Signage for Emergencies could improve by showing directions to the "Steps" that one should use in case of emergency. One could not tell which direction would have to go after reading the sign.

Great, safe location. Beds are very comfy and room is a good size for a long stay.

Would have a preferred a door to the bathroom and not a curtain separating the shower from the bed, but got used to it after a few days!

Friendly staff. Beautiful environment. Enjoyed my stay.

The food, need to be more mindfull that the food is cooked correctly etc. The seafood especially as I broke out in a rash I.e. allerg reaction.
