Wow. where do I start??? From arrival and our welcome at reception that went out of their way to ensure we are happy and settled. Even the GM that made us welcome and rest assured of our peaceful stay we are about to enjoy. To Ricardo ensuring our braai is clean, our gas is filled, the aircon is working, bringing us black bags for our trash. What made our stay exceptional is the kids club without a doubt as we as parents had the chance to unwind knowing our son is happy and safe. Pielanie and Shanteli, they were beyond expectational with their services. They have so much passion and it really showed. Each night they will come and call our son for movie night. With a treat of fresh popcorn and a kitkat on the big screen. Every day the kids club had a different program each day running from 10-4pm where they did activities and watersport. Our unit on the moorings was kept clean and fresh by the wonderful two housekeeping ladies, Delia and Ransha. I even had a treatment done at the spa which I enjoyed. WE WILL RETURN.

The staff at Premier Resort Knysna was truly exceptional in each aspect from security, cleaners, staff and the front desk! We celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary, which was made so special by even upgrading us to one of the Executive Suites by the lake. They went out of their way to make it as special & memorable as possible for us!! We also like the idea of having an option to enjoy breakfast & dinner at either one of the restaurants on the premises, which was definitely a culinary experience! The views were breathtaking from all over the resort! We will definitely be back again!

Oh my word. There's great service and then there's this place. Wow. If my kids were writing this review it would be off the charts amazing as they did not want to hand out with us and only wanted to do to the kids zone, that were on the property and very safe. The apartment we had was a home away from home with luxury that we weren't expecting. Comfortable beds, ample space, and stunning views were all around us.

That we didn't book here for longer. Honestly. My kids are some of the most demanding little monsters and they just loved this place. My wife and I could even go for a quiet dinner together at the hotel restaurant because the kids entertainment had them for a movie night. The place is so amazing and the staff incredibly helpful that every other place we stayed at on our two-week holiday just did not compare.

We stayed in Premier Resort The Moorings, Knysna for two nights. Our apartment was huge, clean and well equipped! We had everything we needed. Great advantage was a power generator which gives you full independence from load shedding!

Very limited and simple breakfast. The quality of food was rather low. If you have more time in the moring just go and find better place in the city. Further, you should introduce a total smoking ban in an open space in your restaurant. We are living in the 21st century - smoking kills! Internet connection was terribly slow! What is more there was no information how to properly connect to your Wi-Fi. I accidently connected my phone to the slowest option and never managed to changed it and nobody could help me with that as this was in IT issue! My iPad was properly conected to your faster network. Neverthless it was very slow! I was sharing my private 5G as there was no way to use your Internet. Work on it, please!

Let's start by saying that I stayed here at the Premier Resort The Moorings twice in a row during a round-road trip from Cape Town to Addo Elephant National Park and back, despite having several other options. What I appreciated the most is the quality of the service provided by the staff. A little touch: on my second visit, they gave me the very same room I had the first time, plus they always remember and call you by name, which is something that I really appreciate. The swimming pool area is very enjoyable, and the menù provided for a lunch by the pool is various, and with a great value for money. The room is bigger than expected, spotless, and I did appreciate the terrace so much. The position is good as well, close to every main attraction you can find in Knysna.

Nothing to mention. Such a perfect stay.

Almost everything

1) Breakfast buffet had limited options. 2) Our apartment had a permanent Musty unpleasant smell. In the cupboards even worse. 3) Lots of mosquitos around and no Pesticide and Peaceful sleep/Tabard was provided in our room. It was very unpleasant if you went outside or sat on your patio, so we ended up buying our own. 4) We booked and paid for a Waterfront facing apartment, but it was double booked and they gave us a Garden facing Suite instead, which I noticed afterwards was slightly cheaper, but the difference wasn't refunded to us.

The location is beautiful- on the lagoon with sunset views. Water access and pools make you feel like you’re at a resort and on holiday as soon as you arrive. The facilities are excellent and well kept. Staff are friendly and attentive. We loved the cocktails and seafood kebabs at the sunset lounge.

Our room wasn’t lagoon facing so next time we’d be sure to book one of those instead.

This incredible place is so special. I didn't really plan well, It was my wife's birthday weekend. The staff went out of their way to make it special. The Hotel is beautifully place on the lake which leads to the bay. Peaceful with clean crisp air mornings. The Hotels air-conditioning help with the extreme heat. Excellent and comfortable rooms with amazing bathroom. Lots of activities on the property or just a short drive from the Hotel. I shouldn't forget the pool area and bar prefectly located to eachother. All in All a wonderful experience for us.

We arrived at the Premier hotel Knysna shortly before lunch and we were greeted by super friendly and helpful staff. We were too early for check in, but we relaxed at the pool with drinks, entertainment (bingo!) and an awesome pool-side lunch. We immediately felt like we were finally on holiday. The room was massive, the food was amazing and the staff were incredibly attentive. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone searching for comfort, style and friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing and fresh.

Our stay was simply too short - wished we could stay longer!!!!!

Didn't have breakfast as it wasn't included in room rate but loved the location it was amazing. The front desk guy, Lubunzo (hope I'm getting the name right) was very helpful and exceptional. The manager was on site and upgraded us to a wonderful Villa, which was outstanding. I would definitely be returning there sometime in the near future.

They need Smart TV's, in 2024 i believe that should be standard - and we can easily login to our accounts ie Netflix etc.
