We are so glad we stayed in the IP boutique hotel in Itaewon. It is the perfect location in Seoul, close to many bars and restaurants as well as the Leeum museum and the Blue Square. 2 subway stations are also nearby as well as many buses. We loved the designer decor and the staff was very helpful. We asked to change room when we arrived as while our initial room was large and freshly decorated, it did not get much daylight as it faced a wall. So we swapped it for a slightly smaller bedroom in need of repainting for a better view to the street and daylight. Our room was on the third floor, I would recommend asking for a higher floor room with view:) Overall we stayed seven nights and would return without hesitation. Comfy bed and pillows, very clean and inspiring decor!

The location is perfect: close to cool cafes, amazing retail, bars - yet it is quiet and not an overly packed area. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful, the service was like in a five star place. The room cozy with good amount of closet space, also the bathroom isn’t too small.

A little renovation wouldn’t hurt, like some paint and a fresh carpet - but it didn’t bother us and it still feels clean!

I have seen this hotel on sites whenever I would travel; normally, I stay within the Gangnam area, but I was pleasantly surprised staying here. The staff are incredibly accommodating, the room is quite spacious though enough room to add more furniture. The best part is I had a bathtub where in my hotels in Gangnam didn't even have for their prices. I love that I'm walking distance from so much! I'll definitely be staying here again next year!

The room setup was unique. I feel as though there was more room to add something extra for meals or seating, but overall, no complaints.

Loved the hotel - quick check in and very comfortable and spacious room. The view wasn’t too bad either! The lobby was a little quirky and there was some work being completed just outside on the hotel steps. But nothing to detract and no real complaints! The room itself was a good size with a fridge and kettle, both very handy. The bed was comfortable and a large TV allowed us to switch into personal accounts like Netflix. Close proximity to Itaewon station. Lots of shops/restaurants around too

If I had to pick anything, it would be that the shower is low in the bath. I’m 6’2” and couldn’t stand directly under the shower.. but wasn’t the end of the world.

The view from the room was awesome! :) Breakfast was also very good including the staff serving.

location was great and the rooms were quite big in comparison to others we have stayed in Seoul. The hotel was very clean and well managed and overall it was a good experience to stay there. It is very well located in Itaewon, almost half way between 2 metro stations. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. It was close enough to be a quick walk to the action of Itaewon, but far enough away to avoid the scuzzier parts.

There is no pool or other facilities and the hotel restaurant is tiny so it fills up very quickly.

The room was located on the 11th floor with a view of main street below and the newer Northern and newer side of Seoul dotted with Skyscrapers across the Han. Room interior was like a bluish-green and bit dated, but was comfortable and had modern fixtures and master controls on the night stand. Very close to Metro ad you can the Government district and Yeouido Park in 20 mins. Located close to lots of restaurants, Revolution Pizza (nice Pizza 2 bigs Slices for like 700 Won ~$7) a famous Indian Vegetarian restaurant chain Saravana Bhavan, and Middle Eastern place Dubai for the Veggie and Vegan folks. But for those nostalgic for pulled pork there is Texas BBQ. Please make srue you also walk around the back streets where there you will get a glimpse of the older Itaewon.

The absence of a nice quality closet drawer to keep clothes and decent chair to sit on to do some work was a negative, that could be addressed. I was told that rooms were recently renovated (I guess the older rooms must has been really dated :)).

Modern big rooms and bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Good location for Itaewon party goers. Lovely reception area.

Based on the 6th floor and we could hear the music/bass from the hotel nightclub. Not great if you want quiet. The mirror entrance/bathroom doesn’t provide enough privacy. A bit of a walk to the nearest Metro.

All the staff in the restaurant were very good and thoughtful. The place is nearby to convenient shop,next to Gucci. Smoking area was a few minutes walk. The toilet in the lobby was so clean and satisfying.

The receptionist was ok but wish they have like a booking booth for tourists to book for tour/amusement parks etc. the room attendant does clean everyday but the mattress cover and duvet is change every 2 days if im not wrong to safe the environment kinda thing. No swimming pool 😭

The Boutique vibe is really nice. It is a great place to stay in a brilliant location. Plenty of shops around you with a 24 hour EMart just a few footsteps away. It’s sat in between 2 main Subway Stations and just minutes walk away from the main tourist bar and shop area. Room was comfortable and clean with replenished water and coffee daily. If you want a great price base for a hotel this one is worth considering. I will go back.

Lack of bar facilities on site. Deluxe Rooms have a glass wall so no privacy, however, there is a curtain to pull across so you can have it just a little strange.
