I enjoyed my stay at Seoul Cube, the staff was friendly and helpful and the room itself was quite clean. There was a free breakfast included which I was unaware of, so that was a nice surprise! All the facilities you would need were available and I had a comfortable stay. It was also possible to do laundry which was a nice added bonus and the location itself was great! Smack in the middle of Itaewon, close to all the coffee spots, restaurants and clubs.
The room itself was quite small. I was traveling with one friend so the room size was fine, however there is no cabinet or closet to store your clothing or other items, besides a small cabinet for shoes. We made it work, but if you're staying for longer than a few days this might be something to consider. I would not necessarily recommend this room for more than 2 people, even though it's a family room. However, there was an issue with fungus. We didn't notice it at first but as we were staying for about two weeks, in the second week we noticed spots of fungus sprouting up. I do believe this has to do with general air flow, not the room being dirty or anything. The room itself was quite clean upon arrival.

The best thing is that the location is very convenient. Save the map in the photos they provide to your phone before you go, or make sure you have data figured out so you can access it. Once you know the way, it's a very short walk from the subway exit to the hostel, and there's a 7-Eleven with an ATM out front on the way, which was also very convenient. I stayed in the "family" room, which was really basically an oversized bunk bed (two, roughly queen-size beds, stacked on top of each other like bunk beds); it may or may not work well for families, depending on the size of the family, but it worked well for me since I was travelling solo but needed a private room. The room, and the attached bathroom, were small, but had everything I needed and were fairly clean. Itaewon has a ton of bars, clubs, and international restaurants (near Seoul Cube, there are quite a few Middle Eastern restaurants, as well as pizza slice and burger stalls, etc.), which is either good or bad depending on what you're looking for.
There was a bit of a bad smell in the room that I stayed in (they probably were aware of this, because they had the window open when I arrived), but it wasn't too strong and didn't bother me too much. Sometimes it was noisy at night from the bars and clubs outside, but not always, and not so loud that I couldn't sleep.

location near nightlife . free breakfast . unlimited towel supply . good showers.
that weekend, 2 guests were snoring and having nightmare while asleep. good thing i went clubbing. //breakfast should be longer 6am to 10am instead of 8am to 10am. //should have bigger lockers to fit even small handcarry standard size . //cleaners and instructors talking so loud (not whispering) while cleaning around 12noon to 2pm like there's noone sleeping still in other occupied cubicles. also slamming doors //aircon is just one unit. so they turn it off duriing noon/afternoon time . there should be alternatative 2nd aircon to run to make it comfortable for siesta sleepers.

I like the location of the place. They have alot of restaurants and alot of night life nearby. The staff were friendly and have me good suggestions were i can go to eat bulgogi. Breakfast is also being offered during mornings. The toilet and showers are provided with necessites such shampoo, body lotion and soap. The room/bed or capsule was very wide and which was good for me since im very tall. It was worth the money for its location.
There was a few people snooring and littering a few times even though the hostel has set up signs and informs the tents about the rules before checkin so it can be good from the hostel to do a review on how they inform the people who stays there. Besides from that i was quite satisfied with my stay there and might come back in the future and stay at this hostel.

This is not the first time I have stayed at this hostel. of the benefits that have been added since my last visit - breakfast. the food is ordinary, but not bad to start the day. I really like the location because it is close to the metro (line 6) and buses that go to different parts of the city. Although the hostel is located in a "lively" area, the nights are quiet, and as a bonus, you can get a pair of ear plugs at the reception. you can use a locker, slippers, and towels (change yourself), there is a hair dryer, a hair straightener, and shampoo/rinse/shower gel.
Sometimes I felt really cold in shower rooms (because of opened windows) and in the room (because of AC) The AC is adjusted by guests in each room what can be a problem if people does have different sense of comfort temperature, so as for me, I think the administration should adjust the AC for the average temperature.

The establishment is well run. The bunks in the dorms were neat with clean linen. Sockets are provided near bed for easy charging. The bathrooms were clean with good layout. The free breakfast was a pleasant surprise, as I was not expecting it. Safe and easy to get in and out with passcodes. Nice provision of seating in the reception. Games, piano and books are provided for guests to use. Rules and instructions placed in many places for easy reference. Toiletries (toothbrush/paste etc) provided at small cost.
The steps of upper capsules are a bit awkward to use. Blinds covering windows in capsules not really functional, would be nice to open properly. More light in capsules would be nice. Designated shelves in capsules would be nice. No light in female dorms on morning of Sunday 20 October.

Very good for solo travellers who don’t mind the cube space and in and outgoing dormmates. Clean facilities. Regularly maintained. Easy to get to Itaewon station or bus stops that go to gangnam. 7 eleven nearby plus food and eateries.
Probably just that you can’t help when others check-in (and quite often it’s at night when you’re trying to sleep and weekends could put people off due to the amount of clubs in the vicinity - but for the price it’s understandable.

The location is fantastic, close to restaurants & shops, etc. The guy at the front desk had a very cool, friendly, approachable vibe. I wondered which country he was from, & I forgot to ask... The bathrooms were very clean & nice, big showers. The cube style beds were more spacious than I expected. My roommates were very quiet & courteous. Overall, great value for money, & I'd stay here again.
I thought the pillow and blanket could have been thicker but overall it was quite comfortable & lots of space inside the cube.

I had a really good time in Seoul and in the Itaewon Cube Hostel specifically. The hosts were really nice and answered all my questions. The bed was surprisingly comfy and the bathroom facilities clean and nice/easy to use. The extra bonus is the location, since it is pretty much right at Itaewon station and therefore well connected with subway and bus. When I come back to Seoul in the future (and I will) stay there again.
Since I am celiac (glutenfree) and pretty much vegan the breakfast (toast, ham, cheese and eggs) was not ideal for me. But for any other traveller without those restrictions it's a nice and easy start to their day, for sure.

Just got back to my home country and I had to immediately leave a review of this listing because of how pleasant my stay was - pre, during and post stay. I arrived in Incheon early morning and the staff were kind to allow me to keep my luggage in their lobby area first. It was raining constantly and after walking around Seoul for a while, I was drenched. Though it was not my check-in time yet the staff helped me to check-in a bit earlier (depends on their agreement) and I was able to stay warm (Seoul was 19 degrees Celsius at that time). During my stay, I had a bit of a discord with one of the tenant and even though it was around 3am in the morning, the staff helped mediate and was able to stop it from escalating further with much patience and professionalism. The fact that they took care of me and made me feel safe during the stay, as a solo female traveler, I am very grateful. I am forever thankful to the staff that had helped me that night. Even after I have checked-out, they still extended their help when I needed assistance. If any of you are a first time/solo traveler looking for a safe place to stay, Seoul Cube Itaewon is the place. Even the other tenants (minus the one I have encountered) are all kind and warm. 10/10 will stay here again🫶🏻
Not much. But if you have never stayed in dormitories or hostel with other tenants and are unable to tolerate a few mistakes made by other tenants, please do not stay in a hostel.
