Food was simply amazing! The heated swimming pools were great. The fitness training staff were great & I tried bike in the water, what fun! If you like running, it’s great running along the promenade!

I didn’t think the receptionists were very friendly and helpful when I requested delayed check out. I do appreciate the hotel was busy and my request might not be possible but the responses were rather blunted.

Service is great.

They need to start cleaning the place. We saw cockroaches at night in the buildings.

Everything about this hotel is quality. The rooms, cleanliness, the gourmet standard food, the friendliness of the staff and the 5 star entertainment. The location couldn't be better, and the drinks, snacks and ice creams brought to you around the pool are very thoughtful touches. It's one of the most expensive hotels in the area, but we really felt that you got what you paid for in this case, and as such we are definitely going to re-book here.

The typical race of many to reserve loungers is a problem. Towels are.down there by dawn, and to be honest we didn't see any staff removing them at all. We were staying in an interconnected room overlooking the pool and while.gettting ready for breakfast you could see the throng of lounger squatters bagging spots and leaving their loungers empty most of the day. By the time we came back from breakfast at around 10am.there was nowhere available. A real shame. and something the staff could have tackled more effectively but it's the mindset of many staying there that causes this and the Anthelia isn't immune to this behaviour of visitors.

The staff are always friendly and professional, buffet food excellent.

We have been twice now, last November and just now in March abs on both the occasions there was 3 days of loud gardening machines - they should do this work maybe 5-7pm and not during pool side resting !

Standouts were : Beautiful setting and grounds Super comfy beds Power shower in our room - excellent Housekeeping room service regular Fantastic breakfast buffet - one of the best Pool service for food and drinks - staff work hard Enough beds around the pool so one does not have to get up at the crack of dawn to lay a towel down - so refreshing

The state of the toilets by the swimming pool was very poor. Not cleaned sufficiently during the day and cockroaches were visible. The island has had an issue this year, but pest control needs to attend more than fortnightly visits which is the current situation, and cleaners to pay a visit a number of times during the day. Not something I would expect from a 5 star hotel. Apart from buffet breakfast which was outstanding, food was a bit mixed elsewhere. The Italian restaurant is good but pizzas drowning in cheese, not really pleasant to eat. Club sandwich at the pool area was poor - hard to get that wrong but they did.

Everything! The location, staff, food and pools were perfect.

The inter joining doors on our hotel room. We had to move rooms because we could hear next door snore, their TV and hair dryer. It was like they were in our room. The hotel would be perfect if it wasn't for this and is the only issue that would stop us returning. The other issue we had was only being allowed in one a la carte resturant a week as part of the all inclusive package. We were there for 12 days so only could go to one without paying extra when we paid alot of money to begin with. Pool bar - limited menu and service sometimes felt like the staff were doing you a favour by getting you a drink. Just not the most friendly vibe at times. Not much food option for small children either if you wanted a snack by the pool. Didn't have smoothies or crisps available when asked.

We are coming here since 24 years at Easter.... so it must be excellent. In the summer we go to other great 5* Hotels but Anthelia stays in my top 3. The rooms are big even when you add a child bed for a 10y old. Breakfast is excellent! Fresh juices of different kinds of fruit. A lot of choice for bread, toasts, etc... Plenty of possibilities to choose from how you want your eggs :) Plenty of 'charcuterie' (Jamon, cheese, paté)... More than you can eat! The pools are excellent and very clean. The pool near the gym is heated very much, so even when (if that would happen) it rains a bit it stays like a hot pool. The big pool downstairs is also heated and very big. The pool with the salted water is a bit colder. Great facilites and activities for the kids. My daughter spends most of her time in the kids club. They made bracelets, with a local shop owner, from which you think they come from a shop. The animation team is always very careful and understanding trying to please plenty of children, which is not always easy! Almost forgot to mention the nice gym and the cycling trips that I did. Excellent racing bikes to rent just 300 away from the hotel!

I really would not know. But I need to write 3 sentences. Which I am doing...

We flew into Tenerife the day before our cruise left. We were sad that we only had a day at this beautiful resort. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and friendly faces. We opted for a garden view but we had a partial ocean view. The facilities are gorgeous! The breakfast was one of the best we have ever been to. I loved the fresh honeycomb and the variety of choices of things to eat. The hotel is along a boardwalk and we were able to walk in both directions to restaurants and beaches. The hotel was an easy taxi ride from the airport. We took a taxi to the bus station so we could catch a bus to the port. Very easy! Thanks again for a wonder stay. We were able to use the shower room so we could shower after a long day of hanging out by the pool. This was a great bonus for us!!!

That we had to leave after a day.

Very good staff, kind and warm. Mr Aníbal took our suitcases and then gave us a 20 minutes tour of the hotel. Mr Vargas was always finding a good spot outside for breakfast. Excellent service. Swimming pool above the sea is fantastic, and one of the two pools is warned up. Also chill live music in the afternoon. Solar panels to save energy. Ventilation of the building. Drinking water spots free on every floor. Direct access to the waterfront. Closed to the best shopping center (which is an open door). Best restaurants in 200/-300 meters. Breakfast very good, french pastry corner, freshly made omelettes, all sorts of bread (mais, whole corn, olives,)

Tennis rackets could be newer

Outstanding!! Well, what can we say? Undoubtedly the best hotel we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived we felt special. Your bags are taken and you are offered a free drink of choice while they check you in. The reception staff and the bell boy (are they still called that?) were politeness personified. After the very welcome drink, we were then taken to our room which turned out to be lovely. We have read some comments about the bathroom being in the room and it not being liked, but actually this works out brilliantly and is a clever concept. There is a door you can close dividing the bathroom and toilet (which has its own door) from the bedroom, and so actually creates a far larger bathroom than you would normally get. Trust us, it works! The pools are lovely. The poolside bar is fantastic, and whilst we chose not to go fully inclusive as we like to explore local restaurants, the amount of complimentary drinks they bring round every so often made this the right decision for us. However, if you like to eat in the hotel restaurants and drink a lot during the day, I would recommed the fully inclusive. How are the staff? I can honestly say I have never met so many lovely, polite and helpful staff in all our years. Nothing is too much trouble and everything comes with a smile. We managed to lock ourselves out of the room and lose a room key, yet this was no issue, they solved it there and then. We'd like to mention in particular Miheala, who worked at the pool bar. She was wonderful, so friendly and happy. She made a real difference to our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast buffet is superb! There was nothing we wanted for, and more than we could have dreamt of! I was partial to the salmon and caviar, my wife enjoyed the range of pastries. We both enjoyed the champagne! As for the restuarants, we only ate in Portofino, the onsite Italian for lunch once. However, it was very nice, but cannot honestly comment much further than that.
