The 24 hr in-person front desk personnel was great for support as needed and general safety.

The “room” design of the 4-bed dorms were placed within a larger room so it was deceiving to find out you were within a section of a much larger room and the area for each 4-bed was way too close together and gave no floor room at all, and the luggage storage was awkward and not easily accessed from underneath the beds.

Great location, easy check in and secure storage facilities. Very clean rooms and comfy beds. Black out blinds on the sides of the bunk beds are great to help sleep.

No lock on our door, even though it's a 4 bed quad bunk to ourselves. Security key card shared with another 4 bed quad bed room next to us. So mot as private a room as advertised. I.e. no way to prevent them walking in drunk by mistake. Also very noisy through the night.

You'll be pretty much located around the city centre. The closest cool areas to visit are Parc de la Ciutadella (literally in front of the hotel) and Arc de Triomf (a couple of minutes away to the right). The room is not luxurious, but it's fine for solo travellers or people on a budget; the cleanliness is fine and, if you're a woman traveller, you can ask for a "female-only" room. They give you a key for a small locker under your bed where you can keep your stuff. The kitchen is free to use. You can buy your groceries and cook there, as long as you leave it as clean as it was before use.

No complaints. It was perfect for the kind of accommodation I needed at the moment.

I very much liked the central location in between the old town and the beach. Got around the city on a rental bike by Donkey Republic for 1,5€ per day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast option for an extra 3€ for toasts, jam, ham, coffee and juice was a very pleasant surprise. A supermarket is located in about 50m walking distance.

The 4-bed mixed dorm is more like a (well crafted) compartment within a huge hall which used to be a storage space, it felt a bit cramped. But I did appreciate that the (reasonably comfortable) beds had thick curtains so you can have your share of privacy as soon as you go to bed and close them.

I really liked the fact that a room for 12 people is devided into 3 smaller ones, because this gives you so much more privacy, even though there are no ceilings and you can hear everything from the other 2 rooms. One of the reasons why I chose this hostel was that there is a private bathroom only for you and your other 3 roommates. During my stay I also found out that there is another restroom with 3 toilets and 2 washbasins in the lobby. I went there when the bathroom in my room was occupied by my roomates. Another reason I chose this hostel was its amazing location. There is a bus stop right in front of the entrance of the hostel, other bus stops just 4-5 minutes away and the Arc de Triomf metro station is just 7 minutes away. Even though I used the public transport a lot, I also enjoyed the city on foot, because the hostel is close to almost all the places I wanted to visit. Additionally, I'm really thankful for the bed curtains, because that's definitely one of the main things I look for in a hostel. The cabinets under the beds are really spacious. You can easily fit one big or two small suitcases. In my opinion, the beds are pretty comfortable. I didn't have any problems with falling asleep as I was way too tired every night, but I think that the beds and pillows are great. Not too hard, not too soft. I didn't have the chance to have breakfast there, but they also offer some breakfast every morning for only 3 euros. I know that it really depends on the people you're in a room with, but I was very lucky to have such great roomates. I felt safe the whole time and there were only a few younger girls and boys who made noise in the halls.

I really enjoyed my stay there, so the things I didn't like are not that much. First of all, I was on a top bunk and I think that the stairs are a bit dangerous and uncomfortable to go up and down on. Secondly, even though the weather outside was very hot and I'm glad that they kept the rooms cool all the time, in my opinion it was way too cold sometimes. Lastly, it is not a complaint, but just something I didn't quite understand. Why did they put photos of the terrace when it's prohibited to go there, it's only for the staff. I thought I would have an open space to go to.

Cheap, good location, clean and comfortable beds. We had a quad room, it is like 4 bed unit inside a larger dorm. Hard to describe it. The walls are particitan walls and don't reach the ceiling. But we had our own toilet and shower for our quad of bunks.

The room was very tight for space. We stayed 3 in the quad room for 1 night which was fine, but for longer stays or if staying with strangers it would be too small for me.

Literally across the street from the biggest park in the city, and a 12 minute walk from the train. Bus and Metro stops close by. major attractions close too! Rooms were 8/10. I’ve stayed in better, but these weren’t bad at all. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Two smaller common areas as well.

The kitchen was the biggest downer. It was small and not we’ll stocked with cooking things. Plenty of dishes though and tables. A bigger kitchen and well stocked would be wonderful so more than one family/ person could cook at a time.

This hostel was a positive experience, the staff were all friendly and helpful and the facilities were very clean. I took a bed in the 4-bed female only room, and it was a great choice. It was perfectly quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable. In summer, it might get a bit too hot if you draw the curtain, but still all fine. Great plus is the relatively late check-out so that I could still get some work done in the morning as they have lots of space for working.

Great location, close to the old part of the town, big park is near, shops and restaurants are around. It is also not far from Sagrada familia. Matresses on the beds are very good. It is possible to have breakfast for 3€. Breakfast is basic, but good, specially coffe. Metro station and taxi stop are not far from the hostel.

You could here your neighbours in the next room. The walls are very thin.
