I stayed in the hostel for a month and I really loved that the beds were super comfy and the curtains would allow some much-needed privacy in a 10-bed dorm:)) It was lovely to have access to free breakfast whenever I was in a rush and there was a quieter lounge room in the back with a desk & a desk lamp where I could do some studying! Also, the staff were always super lovely and welcoming, and gave me some really valuable tips on how to settle in the city! Overall, as a business, it felt generous and caring - I was very much at ease staying there <3 Thank you!!

Just a few small things: the bathrooms could use some more TLC in the form of regular (weekly at least) deep cleaning, such as wiping the walls, tile junctions (esp at the bottom), doors and floor corners in both WC and showers, while the shower heads could use a replacement imho:)

It is really friendly hostel! Capri, from the reception is the best! Helped my every time. Hostel is very cool designed, room was calm, you can close the curtains and rest. As a solo traveler and a woman I felt save. Free breakfast is the best! It helped me very much. There is a kitchen where you can cook. The bathroom is modern and clean. Just one last night my neighbor was after party and made some noise, but it happened only once, in my last night. Was happy to meet an owner, he is a pleasant guy! Thank you! Will absolutely stay there again!

The location is hard to reach cause it is located on a hill, but it’s okay, not a big minus. Somebody took my chicken, despite it was signed :) My bred in a bagle was not so fresh, but it’s just things to make hostel better. I would like to have more comfortable pillow :)

The staff was super helpful and friendly!!! The location is right next to Park Guell which is super convenient if you want to visit the upper part of Barcelona (Guell, Gracia) but to go to the lower parts and the beach better wear some sports shoes because you will have to walk. You can also take the bus since it has excellent connections. The amenities and the common spaces are really good, I enjoyed a lot the chilling spaces and the kitchen has everything you need. I would definitely go back!

The bed was ok but could be a little bit more comfortable :) Still I had a very good sleep (they give free earplugs in the reception) and the sheets and the space are very clean. Also the curtain is a very good idea!

The best hostel I have stayed at by far. Extremely clean, very tastefully decorated, lots of space for calm working in the patio and chill room (I even taught remotely and did an interview there without interruptions), the staff were not just nice, but openly interested in the people staying there, breakfast was very decent and the coffees were a huge plus. Rooms were largely quite comfy, the bathrooms were great quality and size, the shower was very decent The common areas, like the living areas, were really well maintained and regularly cleaned. The hammocks in the patio were such a nice touch! Factory Hostel Barcelona is clearly a place where staff take pride in their business and in looking after the guests - there's nothing better than that. I've been to many a hostel over the years - this has been my favourite by a very long way. Hands down. I'll return for an even longer stay next time.

Although there was no space for an oven for pizzas etc, the rest of the kitchen space was really welcoming and relatively spacious, and kept very tidy by everyone who used it.

Each bunk bed has a curtain, a socket, USB plugs and a light, and I found the beds super comfortable. It’s quiet outside at night so unless people inside the dorm are being inconsiderate you can sleep really well. I liked the breakfast and the common area. The key is a wristband which is convenient!

One bathroom for a dorm of 10. The hostel feels a bit tight, but that’s just the way the building is. The location worked for me, but can be a nuisance to some - pretty far from the city amd beach.

Tiny but comfortable retro/Bohemian style place in a pleasant safe neighborhood close to all amenities well maintained secured the staff lovely friendly sociable helpful well behaved with good manor The atmosphere inside as whole is relaxing easy to meet and greet other guests. The Breakfast is deliciously awesome 10 out of 10 well done factory hostel ❤️

. The walking distance from the neatest metro station but you can hup on an off many buses . The electronic security light weight hand band is beautifully designed in different colors however it works fine in order to access the building but most of the times didn't work easily on my room so it's a bit frustrating and annoying 😕 hopefully this issue will be solved soon 🤞

The building is split over several floors, with a spare loo by reception, then one bathroom for the 6 person mixed dorm we were in which managed well for us all. The blinds work really nicely on the beds and provide privacy. The reception let me use one of their padlocks for the under bed locker because mine didn't fit. The peach ice tea on arrival was an excellent touch after the hill. The breakfast was cheap and cheerful, I'm partial to set yoghurt and the coffee is good. The kitchen is more a kitchenette but does well. I appreciate the sign telling people not to cook fish (although someone ignored that and then loudly slurped their dinner and sucked on prawns and made everywhere smell bad but that's not the hostels fault at all.) Bathrooms clean and well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as well as a hairdryer. Music in common areas is excellent. The patio is lovely and the hammocks were nice to chill in. Wear bug spray. Laundry cheap and includes a wash and dry for €3 at time of writing. Reception staff happy to lend a hand ordering taxis. Well located near park guell, walk a few streets over to take the escalator up the hill. All in all the best hostel I've ever stayed in.

It's a hostel, people gonna stagger in at 3am, someone's going to try and dry their hair with a hairdryer at midnight, it happens, not the hostels fault.

The staff was so nice and polite and they answered everything with a smile! They allowed me to check-in my luggage early and their yogurt was so yummy! They welcomed me with juice, and the kitchen facilities were awesome too, especially the huge space to eat and chit-chat. The bed was clean and the bathroom was really spacious. Park Guell is just a 5 minute walk, and there are two very important bus stops just 300 m away, thereby connecting it very well to the metro (Lesseps and Joanic are walkable) and Plaza Espanya. Even the Barcelona-Sants station is a direct bus ride away. I walked to La Sagrada Familia too, but it takes about 30 mins, though the walk is quite pleasant. But what stands out for me is that I accidentally dropped my back-up phone under the bed while sleeping and only realised during my airport security check that I don't have it with me! I called up the reception in the middle of the night and while they didn't find the phone then, they promised to take a thorough look in a couple of days. As promised, they wrote to me in two days' time that they had found it under the bed, and offered to keep it until I arranged for pick-up. I cannot describe how relieved I was and I shall always remember this extra-generosity on their part very fondly! Would recommend 10/10, especially for their balcony views, their cute breakfast and the lovely ladies running the reception desk!

it was a nice experience, of course is an hostel, so don’t expect privacy!!. I had an snoring guy and it was super annoying, I couldn’t sleep, but that is not hostel fault and I knew what I was paying for. beds are comfy, and the curtains make it private. the staff is friendly. is ON A HILL, so don’t make my mistake and arrive on car if you have a large luggage. the cleaning staff is friendly, I don’t know the guy name, but the older guy cleaning was really trying to make good his job, I would used bathrooms at noon, they clean around 11. so you use it while the cleanest. Recommend wearing flip flops in the shower, water goes down slowly and either way you are sharing with strangers. over all place was really good for the money, you Walk 15 min down hill and you are in La sagrada familia, nice kitchen and shared areas. and most importantly, you get to know pretty cool people

it was on a hill, I wasn’t aware so I arrived from the train station

Clean and cozy rooms with curtains on the bunk beds (a must on any hostel). Comfortable bed with a light and wall plug for charging, bring your own lock for your drawer, private bathrooms on each rooms with good showers, VERY friendly and helpful staff. The kitchen and common area are exceptional, with hammocks and sofas and all sorts of board games. The metro station is 15 mins away and the bus is only 5.

There is a steep hill that you will climb to get there, but only for a couple of minutes. You will break a little sweat. All sorts of snoring and noise problems with people coming in late but its part of the hostel experience and you should expect it.
