The hotel is within walking distance to every sight of intrest, the staff is extremelly helpful and outgoing. The rooms are clean, the bed very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Although not abundant with choice to my opinion it had just enough of everything. We were pleasantly surprised on check in that the menagement decided to move us to a bigger suite than the one we paid for and really made our stay at the hotel Market even better.

The noise from the water tubing system and from other rooms can be quite disturbing, especially at night. The hotel also needs a little bit of renovation.

The hotel looks great. It's right next to a plaza and has a coffee shop across the street and a pizzeria at the end of the block. The room had a queen size bed and a balcony which was great for people watching. The morning employee was amazing with helpful tips and went out of his way to give us free breakfast for the issue with our AC. They provide twin mattresses if you have children with you.

When we got there we turned on the AC because it was 102°. The AC started leaking all over the floor and we couldn't have it serviced until the next day because they don't keep maintenance on call. So we avoided breaking our necks by placing a ton of towels on the floor to keep it from becoming a pool inside our room. Some staff members could probably go back to training on being a bit more professional and helpful with the guests.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but it looked inviting.

The room could have been a little bigger. It needed repainted as there were places with chipped or flaking paint.

Fantastic location - Sant Antoni area was great you had everything you needed nearby. Tons of restaurants, shops, Metro station and the A1 bus to/from airport stops were just a couple streets away which made it tremendously convenient to get around. Laundromat around the corner was nice to be able to pack less and just wash your clothes. Hotel Market beds were comfortable, room was spacious enough for 2. Having the restaurant downstairs was very convenient. The front desk all spoke fluent English which was helpful. And the price in November was great (110 e)

street noise early morning was sometimes problematic

Fantastic location, central and close to many different transport links including airbus 4 mins away. Restaurant was great in the evening. Nice price and large portions, with a vibrant atmosphere. Great value for money, cheap and cheerful if you just need a simple, central place to sleep.

The room was comfortable but could do with a redecoration/ coat of paint. A bit dusty, especially around the bedside tables and under the bed. The owner should invest money into redecorating or modernising the bedrooms.

We booked this place last minute as our flight home was cancelled and we had a horrible experience the night before relying on the airline to book hotels. So we decided to go into Barcelona and book a last minute deal ourselves. We got an AMAZING deal in the suite on the top floor with a private roof top patio. Room was very cool. A more masculine/dark feel to it which was fine for us (two men) the patio was huge on the roof top. Over all couldn't have asked for a better spot for our bonus two nights in Spain.

Liked it all. A few things to maybe consider though. Air conditioner worked well but took me some time to figure out how it worked. Maybe update that unit. And this is strictly preference but the roof top had a tall privacy railing/fence which made it almost impossible to see the surrounding area. However the privacy was nice too. So if you want a stunning view it’s not that but if you want a cool private rooftop deck to sunbath or hang out. It’s perfect.

Hotel is located in a beautiful historical building with super high ceilings and many original features, and modern additional, as lift. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Big, cozy and well priced restaurant at the hotel and lovely cafe opposit.

Location is lively, but metro stations could be closer. San Antonio 6 min walk and Urgell - 9 minutes. However, many buses nearby and walking distance to many atractions. I wish the room had coffee making facility.

Absolutely outstanding. Boutique atmosphere, unique decor, and terrific room with a dream, completely private 70 sq. m. (or 600 sq ft) deck. Four poster, king bed, decent TV, and great bathroom with rain shower and giant bath tub. If they had thrown in bathrobes and slippers I would given them a Ritz Carlton level of accoutrement. Breakfast was excellent, love the coffee, staff friendly, helpful, Front desk also entertaining and delightfully intelligent, do think he should consider comedy. Location was perfect and everything right there. Out the door and you had any necessity at your disposal.

Hard to find any faults. A bit pricey but I thought well worth it, 1200+ sq ft of private space! Everything was old, historic?, and very interesting. Could have used some additional tender care. A double sink, they were stone beauties, one of the facets could have used new washers - dripped for a bit. Might have considered some USB ports by bed and desk. It was as close to perfect as you could get.

Location ideal and room size was lovely. We even had a little balcony which I didn’t realise we had which was lovely as it was getting warmer. Only a short walk to metro 5 mins - corner shop not far to grab a few snacks.

Mattresses are a tad hard. We didn’t mind - was a surprising good sleep. But can be a turn off for someone else. Other than that maybe the lift can be a problem.. it wasn’t for us but there’s only one which maybe a problem for others.

the staff were very friendly towards me and my friends, whenever we had a question, the person at the reception always helped us out and made the stay very easy and worthwhile for us. the rooms were a perfect size with a large bathroom and there were plenty of places to store our storage. the restaurant served both amazing food and was served by very friendly and helpful waiters. this was my first ever holiday with my friends and hotel market made sure it was not one to forget, thank you so much for having me :)
