Very central location, close to airport expressbus and public transport. We had a quiet room to the back. Breakfast was good, everyday a bottle of water in the room. Big and comfy beds. Also good outside brunch options nearby.

City tax is to be paid on arrival, though, booking.com states all taxes are paid. Not a dislike just a FYI for fellow travellers. I guess it's more a booking.com issue than a hotel issue as this has already happened in many other places before.

I have chosen this hotel primarily because of its location and it was a great choice. It is situated in a nice neighbourhood, with a lot of cosy little restaurants and supermarkets, away from the mass tourist crowds, within the walking distance of both Plaza Catalunya and Plaza Espanya, well connected with the central underground line L1 and close to the Aerobus station (which in my opinion is the most convenient way to travel to and from the airport). The room and the bathroom are both of an appropriate size, there is a refrigerator in the room and a closet with a plenty of space, bed was comfortable. Everything is nicely decorated and well maintained. Also, they fulfilled all my additional requirements regarding the room. Although there is traffic noise around hotel during the day and up to late night hours, the closed window provides a decent level of sound proof. I liked the fruit choice for breakfast and the fact they offer Nescafe.

Apart from fruit and vegetables, breakfast is not very tasty. It is within the standard for three stars, but the pastry choice is not good and the cheese has no taste at all. The window cannot be fully open. There is one large duvet for the bed, it would be more convenient to have two smaller ones and if they would not tuck it in every day.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. It was spotlessly clean, with a very pleasant smell in the lobby. The rooms are being cleaned every day, the towels are being changed and there is a complimentary restocking of coffee capsules, water and fresh fruits daily. The bed and the pillows are amazing additions to the perfect stay. I specifically asked for a room overlooking the back yard and my wish was fulfilled so we enjoyed a peaceful sleep at night with absolutely no noise to be heard from outside. The location is great as well, 5 mins walk to the Rocafort metro station, 20 mins walk to La Rambla. We could not recommend the hotel more!

located in the area of Barcelona where there are less tourists and wider, tree lined streets, yet still easy to access areas of interest via metro, a few minutes walk away. Very good value for room size , breakfast and closer to main train station and airport than hotels further in. if you take the AirPort Express bus, get out at Placa Espana, the first stop, and it's only 10 minutes walk to the hotel. very helpful and friendly staff

Had to ask for a kettle for making tea in our room, but promptly provided. Not a lot of choice in pillow types, all a bit soft

It’s my second stay in Leonardo Hotel. First time it was 5 years ago and it was wonderful. Today I feel that hotel needs a renovation. Nevertheless, the location is really good, 10 -15 minutes by walk to Placa Catalynya, the hotel stuff is really friendly and the rooms were very clean.

For this price it will be great to provide robes. We asked for iron and they gave us iron and board installation, that was stick together, in the end the board broke while I was ironing. If you eat breakfast at 9-10 AM be ready, there won't be much food. The sink in the room didn't drain well.

Room was well cleaned and towels replaced daily. Nice to have a kettle and a fridge in the room. Breakfast was very good and a well stocked range of things to eat. All the staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The location was also good to explore the city and within a reasonable walking distance of most tourist venues. The price was worth it. I would recommend this hotel to friends who want to visit Barcelona.

The room was at the front of the Hotel , and since the Hotel is at a busy road junction, the traffic noise affected my sleep. I did ask for a quiet room when I booked, but I did not get one.

Good location for us. Decent sized rooms. Clean. Very nice staff. Decent breakfast.

Silly, but sink plug did not hold water properly so nuisance for wet shaving. Nothing the hotel can do about it, but daily street bin clearance anytime between 3.30 and 5.00 was irritating for a light sleeper. Same all over Barcelona though and I can see it's a necessary evil. Given the dire water shortage in Barcelona, I was surprised that the hotel did not request careful use by guests. Many visitors would not appreciate the issue and would indulge in high usage without a second thought.

At check-in, a deposit of 50 EUR was required at the accommodation, which was not stated anywhere in advance and is quite humiliating for a four-star hotel. In the pictures of the room, toiletries are visible in the bathroom, but in reality, there were no toiletries at all. At breakfast, we had to wait 10-15 minutes three times for a free table. Apart from these issues, everything else was fine.

Room very clean, very quiet compared to the bustling neighborhood, good beds, slept very well there. Staff very helpful and efficient. The hotel is practically located if you like public transport (we got in by bus from the airport, got out by train via Sants). It's also close enough to many sights in the center of Barcelona. An amazingly good range of restaurants nearby, way easier to find a good restaurant compared to some more central areas.

Can't really think of much. The bathroom has probably seen better days, but again, everything was very clean. The bathtub had some scratches here and there. It's still a 10/10 in my book because the room was impeccably clean, and reasonably priced.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. They prepared welcome water, coffee, and apples, which was really nice. The bed was super comfortable and huge, so we could get enough quality sleep during our stay. Breakfast options were varied and colourful; guests could choose from different types of pastries, fresh fruit and vegetables, cold cuts, different warm meals, and so on. I recommend this hotel to those who would like a comfortable and reasonably priced base for their city break.

We always take our own towels with us when we go on holidays because I do not want to leave foundation and other make-up marks on the hotel's towels. We did so this time as well. Unfortunately, the cleaning lady accidentally took our towels on the second day and never returned them. I'm not sure why, though, as they were not on the floor, and neither their size nor their brand matched the ones provided by the hotel.
