I liked that the hotel is renovated, it's pretty clean, helpful staff and good breakfast. You can reach the hotel using two routes: one that is a bit dirtier and gives you an uneasy feeling and one that feels safer (big street, lots of shops and good transportation). I suggest you have a look at that before getting there. We have taken both routes even at night, nothing bad happened.

Breakfast is just great! It has the basics, scrambled eggs, cheese, turkey, butter and jam, croissant, pain au chocolate, toast, cornflakes and milk, coffee machine … and the food is FRESH. Keep it up!

Rooms are so close to each other and there is no noise insulation, you can wake up in the middle of the night at the voice of your neighbors laughing / closing the door …. this is not comfy

Unfortunately, the hotel was located above a bar,and the noise from the bar was quite disturbing. Additionally, the windows were not soundproof, so we could hear all the conversations and noise from the street. On the other hand, the breakfast was some how basic and repetitive.

The location was convenient to two Metro stations, walkable to the Gothic Quarter and plenty of restaurants. It is near a square, so there was some outside noise until around 11pm. The breakfast was ample and delicious and opened at 7:30am. There was housekeeping service daily and the facility was very clean.

We had a twin room and are both tall, so the beds were just a bit short for us, but the beds were comfortable. The walk-in shower did not have anywhere to place soap and shampoo while showering and the floor was slippery so tread carefully!

The hotel location is great - it is virtually at the border of Gothic area of Barcelona. Many tourist attractions are at walking distance. For example, the Cathedral of Barcelona is in 15mins, Catalunya Square - 14, La Rambla - 11. For father trips metro station is in 5 mins. Our room was good. Big enough and clean. They tidy up the room on daily basis and we always had everything we needed. The breakfasts were rich and yummy, they also have the bar open in the evenings where one can have tea or coffee without need to go out.

The floor in the shower cabin is very slippery especially when while taking the shower the shampoo or shower gel is not yet complely washed out. The closest cafe (or restaurant) which is around the corner is quite noisy in the evening by very late hours. This can disturb sensitive people.

Good facilities and very clean. Convenient location for visiting the city - good connection to metro, and walking distance to a lot of sites. Breakfast was basic, but quite good (except the coffee).

Front door was often locked, and had to be opened by reception (after pressing a buzzer to get attention). This caused a few small delays if person at reception was busy. Would be better to have card access. I can appreciate the need for keeping the door locked - the hotel probably isn't in the nicest/safest area, but we didn't experience any issues. Coffee at breakfast was poor. Lights above the bed are too bright and too low - cut my head on sharp corner, not useful, and actually stop you from being able to sit up in bed.

You can tell the hotel was renovated not long ago, the interior design they used is very nice. Although the room was small, they did provide with two twin bed and we had enough space to move around the room. The breakfast area was very simple but functional and the breakfast was very decent.

The hotel is located next to a very sketchy, creepy area, specially during the nights, you would stroll around and not feel super safe. Also during July 2024, the square and street next to the hotel was undergoing construction work and it made it difficult to get cabs to and from the hotel area.

Very friendly staff everywhere. Room wasn't ready for us but they let us leave our bags until later. Room was lovely, basic but very comfortable. No kettle etc, but did have a hairdryer in the bathroom. Breakfast was great, enough to choose from, although the dining area was a little hectic that morning. Not the hotels fault! In the heart of Barcelona, so easy access to the centre and bars and restaurants. 50 yards from metro station. Again, after checkout they looked after our bags as we had a late flight. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

Everything was OK. The check-in process was fast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was Ok, not a lot of choices but enough for a short stay. Since we checked out before breakfast time, they prepared lunch packs for us. Near metro station, 2 minutes walk, near Rambla street (several minutes walk). There are a lot of shops and restaurants near the hotel. Staff always ready to help and answer any questions
