Great location and comfortable room. Delicious coffee and breakfast. Very helpful staff. It is great that they care about the environment and run the hostal in an environmentally-friendly way. It is a bonus that there is a shared kitchen and beautiful terrace.

There was a bit of confusion about what was considered an out of hours arrival time. Email said after 9pm would need special arrangement to check-in, but actually the cafe/office closes at 7pm! So we had to rush there to check-in and get keys after they called us.

The location is perfect - just 2 minutes from a metro station where you can travel all around Barcelona. The room itself was not a high standard/ top shelf, but it was enough and had everything one can need for a stay (lots of storage space, coffee machine, hair dryer, ceiling fan and AC, even a private fridge). I was looking for something cheap with a good location and I admit I am satisfied with my choice. Very good price-quality ratio. I also enjoyed the breakfast, it was always fresh and tasty. Hostal personnel was very nice and helpful too.

The bed was huge and comfy, with a firm mattress. The staff was friendly, and the receptionist spoke English. The lady who served breakfast spoke Spanish, French, and a little English, but it was enough to get the right food and drinks. Everything was super clean and nice. Location is extra, there is metro station next to it and you can walk to the most of the tourist places. Breakfast was really tasty, toasts, croissants, cereals, fruits, juices, coffe and other to choose from. It is made for you and served to the table. There was enough of food, but please note that we always came at the beginning.

The minus is that the window in the room with private bedroom is very small and goes out to the other walls of the building, so there is no natural light in the room. But it didn't bothered us since we spend most of the time exploring city. Towels cost extra 2 euro per person.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, even when booking.com messed up the booking, the staff were very gracious and understanding. The property itself was what it says. there are no frills in it but is absolutely ideal to have as a base to your Barcelona adventure and had the added 'community' part that old residents left behind things they did not need (like suncream, deoderant, shampoo etc) as well as a decently stocked kitchen with basics should you need it. Everything was clean as well. The breakfast was good as well, decent enough variety to get you started for your day.

Not anything really to be honest. If i would write anything here it would be nit picking as we were fully satisfied with our stay. the toilets are a little cramped but thats about all really. and even then they are perfectly managable.

Staff were very nice, I arrived toward the end of breakfast a couple days and they replenished some of the supplies that were out. Nice location right by a metro stop. Good breakfast, hearty.

Bed wasn’t super comfortable, and it’s definitely cramped in the room. Not too much to complain about - it’s a budget hostel and you get what you pay for, this would be great for a couple days while you explore the city and just need a place to sleep

Location is perfect, staff is very nice, included breakfast makes start of the day much easier. Rooms are clean with towels and sheets included, also there's a small fridge. Would recommend to anyone that wants to roam around the city and have sleepover place at a walking distance from city center and all the attractions. Also, metro stations (Urgell on L1 and Sant Antoni on L2) are literally minutes away.

Walls are not really soundproof, but guests were quiet nevertheless. My room and toilet window faced inner building tunnel so that makes the room dark, but it didn't bother me since i was there only for a sleepover.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great and included in the price. The location was great. Very close to the metro station and center of the city. The children loved the bump-beds and the bacony.

The restroom were very small and unconfortable to be in there bathing children. They found a cockroach and didn't want to shower anymore.

The hostel was just as described, what you see is what you get. Barcelona is expensive when it comes to hotels/hostels and this hostel is the best value for your money if you want to stay within walking distance from the centre. For the same price you could get a nicer accommodation in other european countries so keep that in mind when staying in Barcelona. The view was nice from the shared balcony but from our room there is no view, just nets on windows which we knew beforehand. Room was clean. Everything was easy and the staff was nice, especially one of the cleaning ladies/coffee shop workers was very kind<3

The staff was super nice & friendly and always tried to fulfill my requests, especially the Lady who did breakfast and housekeeping had an exceptionally positive attitude. I didn’t find it dirty or anything, the location is great, the metro-station is pretty much directly in front of the door and also on foot most things are pretty walkable. The breakfast was really good as well.

there are just a few little things to criticize. the hotplate wasn’t working and there were no pots the bathrooms are really small (but considering, that it was a common bathroom before, wich was separated in three personal ones that’s unavoidable) and the light in my room was a little dim.

The location is fabulous. The room was very clean. There's a fridge inside the room and the kitchen was also clean and it was a pleasant space. The girls in the coffee( breakfast) were lovely and very nice and the breakfast was amazing.

The toilets( bathroom) were very very little, the shower was bad built and the water came out of the toilet. We found 3 baby cockroaches in the toilet...
