The location was perfect, close to the Catalunia square station (airport bus and metro/bus access to all attractions), a few steps from the Rambla. The room and bathroom are small, but have everything you need (towel, clean linen (changed every 3 days)). The man at the reception also offered me a hair dryer when I needed it. For the month of August, it was quite ok to sleep in the evening and without air conditioning, not being excessively hot and with the window open. There was no noise because the window was not facing the street. For a stay with a smaller budget I recommend!

Even if we were lucky with changeable weather and not needing to return to the room after lunch, it would be perfect if they installed air conditioning and the wifi should work in all the rooms! Otherwise, nothing to complain about! I was really afraid after reading the comments that I would find it 🙂

It’s is so central. You can’t beat the location for the price. While the building needs updating for a two night stay it was perfect. Old but again the location win out and while the walk in was off putting the room was spotless. Loved this spot for a city break. Plus there’s a bakery right at the front door!!!

It’s right in the middle of the ramblas, really close to everything.

The entrance is kind of sketchy however it is only appearance the place felt safe however wouldn’t recommend it if traveling alone

The location is really good. Close to market la Bogueria, plaza Catalunya (airport bus) and metro station. There is a Carrefour close also. The room was small but it was exactly same than pictures. The bathroom was clean and people in reception are nice.

The place is good but it is a quite noisy during the night. I highly recommend use ear plugs to sleep comfortable. The place has 2 restrooms but just one complete bathroom, however, I didn't have problems to wait to much to use the shower.

The location within the city was excellent, though a little difficult to find The room was very clean and bed was comfortable The staff were really friendly, though might be difficult to communicate if you don't speak spanish Overall a good stay

The location was perfect, right of la Rambla . 3 min walking to Plaça de Catalunya. Room No 8 was clean with private bathroom. Hosts very helpful . When your visit is sightseeing- all you need is a place to sleep.

Excellent location, just off La Rambla but far away enough not to have noise disturbance from the streets. The bed was really comfortable. The staff were pleasant and accommodating.

The hall and stairs have a lot of graffiti which makes the interior of the communal part of the building feel a little unsafe, however, the pensión itself is well maintained. The room was not soundproof so I could hear people in the hallways, and also in the neighbouring apartments via the window.

Excellent location, just off la Rambla,very safe environment and security in house was first class. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with everything. Exceptional value for money

The location was perfect, only 300m away from the metro station of plaça de catalunya, beside la Rumbla street, the beach and the olympic port are around 1.5 km away, there are many restaurants and supermarkets in the neighborhood. The stuff are sympathic and asking all the time if it's ok... etc.

The rooms dont have air conditioner and TV and since the bilding is located in a central and very dynamic area in Barcelona, the noise coming from the street can disturb you if you are an early sleeper. But, I dont think that better conditions could be found for the same budget.

The localisation is perfect, much more than I expected. Very friendly staff . Clean! Very good for seeing the city!!!!! all you need is there.

The building needs to be redone, but it is cleaned, and it is take cared of.
