This property was in an awesome location and provided you the ability to walk to many great locations around the city. Sound out to the staff for helping us out throughout the time we were staying in the hotel.

Something that needs improving is your communication with the customers about the check-in time and the time the room will be available. In your messages you should say “check-in time starts at 15:30 but your room may still require cleaning and will not be available till (insert time)”. Telling people this will help them plan better and not have any confusion.

The location was perfect to explore on foot especially as we stayed for 4 days in another location this was very accessible to the marina, restaurants, bars and shops.

The reception staff unfortunately weren’t friendly at all we dealt with they would have a conversation and leave you standing until they finished before speaking to you, this very much felt like they were there to collect a wage and no regards to the job. Simple things like when you arrived at the hotel they weren’t welcoming saying Hi etc. this badly let the hotel down unfortunately. The cleaning staff were lovely I must say.

Very good hotel, excellent location! We were afraid of hearing noise given the location, but it was excellent, good insulation, we didn't hear anything from the street. The room was very spacious and good! The balcony was nice, the bed and pillows comfortable, good tv and good bathroom. It has a very nice and pleasant rooftop and the employee who makes the drinks there is very friendly. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it and if I return to Barcelona, I intend to return to this hotel.

Staff should knock on the door before entering to make sure we are not in the room.

Excellent location and wonderful staff. I have rarely met such kind, helpful and relaxed staff. I give the highest mark to the hotel staff - the lady from the reception as well as her colleague who changed my sister's room 2 times and also the ladies where breakfast was served.

Some rooms are renovated, others are not. Unfortunately, being positioned on the Rambla, you either take the room where it is very noisy (Rambla street) or you'll have the room at the back or side of the hotel where there is also noise from the other hotel or, in my case from 7th floor (I stayed at 6th floor) where I the hotel staff retires (I think) at the end of the day (12 AM) and there is infernal noise. Also, although the room was renovated, there was no toilet brush and the toilet lid from my sister's room was not cleaned at the check in moment.

Location is extremely central, staff were very friendly (particularly the front desk and concierge when I was there). Breakfast had great variety, quiet and beautifully presented. Made for a great morning.

The room I had was quite dark, but comfortable. My long haul flight arrived at 8am but I couldn't get into the room till 3pm which was very tiring, so accommodating for earlier check-in on request, even 1pm for example, would be helpful.

The hotel is excellent and not rated very high, which is a shame The staff at the reception are very kind, the hotel is secure (entry by room card or ringing the reception), very clean, the room is very spacious and so are the toilets. We once added a breakfast that was very varied in vegetables and fruits and pastries (suitable for vegetarians). Also, we were allowed to check out late at 13:00 pm with no extra charge. The location of the hotel is perfect! Very central, 3 minutes from Plaza Catalunya and next to great clothing stores. I will return again next time I come to Barcelona.

Excellent location, friendly staff, well maintained interiors, spacious rooms with balcony over Rambla, good breakfast and perfect bar lounge area! My 2nd time here and were delighted to be upgraded! Glad to find 2 chairs and a table in the balcony for a sit out! Though missed an ash tray on the table outside. Well equipped toilets and nice hot water in the shower. Staying here again in July end and am sure it'll be as comfortable.

There is nothing that we did'nt like, but what I missed was a small spa for rejuvenation after an hectic day!

The location is excellent. La Rambla is such a lively street and having all the restaurants and entertainment at one’s doorstep is a treat.

The room we had on the first night was on level 1 facing la Rambla and was very noisy at night. A bit disappointing as we had specifically asked for a quiet room. That said, when we raised it with reception they were excellent. We were moved to a quiet room and offered breakfast for the inconvenience. Great results in the end.

If you are debating booking this hotel, I really recommend you do it. we spent 2 nights here for New Year’s Eve and couldn’t have picked a better location. My hubby and I booked the superior room, and ended up getting a gorgeous suite on the top floor with a spacious balcony. the room was super clean with an extremely comfy bed. The sound insulation was great considering we were overlooking La Rambla during NYE and still slept like babies the whole time. we were also greeted with a bottle of wine and a free cup of cava at the bar; SUCH a lovely surprise. the bathroom seemed like it had been newly upgraded which we loved, big huge mirror, lots of light, shower with a tub. I did a lot of research before booking, and I’m so glad I settled on hotel Serhs. You’re steps away from Plaça de Catalunya and a short walk to the Cathedral. We went to the City Hall Flamenco show (which was unbelievably good) and loved that we could easily walk home to change before going out for the New Year’s Eve festivities. our stay was 10/10 and I will definitely be back again. We've been very pleasantly surprised by everything: from the plenty little touches that made a difference, like a complimentary glass of Cava to sip on the Hotel roof terrace, to the Lindt chocolate found on our bed and more. Best breakfast buffet we've ever seen in a hotel with plenty of delicious things to choose from and a real meal to do! Perfect location on the Rambla just a stone through from Plaza Catalunya and super safe. Highly recommended.
