ALWAYS A GOOD STAY AT THE DORAMAR EXCELLENT AND POLITE STAFF, WOULD RECOMEND THESE APARTMENTS VERY CLEAN AND ALL BASIC ESSENTIALS ARE THERE.

NOTHING NOT TO DISLIKE

Location was perfect, so close to the Marina but also near lovely restaurants that are not as pricey as the Marina. The apartments are very basic but absolutely perfect. Reception staff were (mostly) very friendly. Able to rent a car from the hotel which was very handy. The bar downstairs is great too, both for food & drinks, the man who runs it is a great character :) do not stay here if you want a balcony, it's very obvious from the pictures that there aren't any yet people still seem to complain.. We would stay here again for sure.

Towels and bedsheets could be changed more often but it wasn't a major issue!

The property was clean bed was comfortable and location was very good staff are very accommodating

The hotel was in the right location it’s clean comfortable and for the price was very very good it wouldn’t be somewhere I would travel with my family but for a jolly up it was ideal The bar below has staff that are very friendly prices are right and the breakfast very good,the only negative I would say on this is although the pool was clean around it is tired and really needs a revamp,every body that stay there are real people no one looks down there nose at anybody if you know what I mean

Excellent value for money. The pool bar underneath is great, too. I would return.

We were staying for three days & we weren't allowed a fresh towel. One of the group needed a towel on the last night & she was told they are changed every four days & it took some persuading for him to actually give her the towel. Also everyone in the group was bitten by mosquitoes so take repellent, ive come home with 16 bites from three days. Not necessarily the apartments problem but just a heads up to anyone booking. Also expect to pay a deposit on your room if you're travelling in a group. Ours was 50€ & we did get it back at the end but just wasn't something we were expecting.

Been there before 2019, very good value for money. Very friendly helpful staff. Room was exceptionally clean as was rest of building, reception, lift, corridors. Everything I needed in apartment, small complimentary pack with items for washing up ,was helpful. Good television with all the English channels plus film channels. Good air conditioning. Full range of cooking items, and cutlery. Handy mini shop in reception.

Wrong to say didn't like, bedroom could be a bit small for 2, moving round twin beds. Building Fully tiled could be a bit echoing , maybe doors on end of access to each floor accommodation?

Easy check-in at the main desk. Got there earlier than check-in time so left our luggage in a secure storage room, then returned and checked in later. Rooms were actually very clean despite reading many reviews saying otherwise? The first thing I did was check the room over and the bedding. No issues with cleanliness whatsoever. Downstairs bar staff were great (Rafael I think his name was in particular, a great sport and helpful throughout our stay) and the bar provided excellent value for money. Pool area was nice to sit out and enjoy a drink. Location was excellent - Irish bar next door which served an excellent pint of Guinness and lovely food. 5min walk from 24 hour square in one direction and 5min walk to the beach in an other. Marina around 10min walk away with a good choice of bars and restaurants. Overall for the price we paid I can't fault this hotel at all!!!

Please not they ask for 50 Euro security deposit for each room. In fairness this is common practice in a lot of hotels. The deposit was returned at the end of the stay with no issues. Some aspects of the hotel look a bit dated.

The receptionist was great. She greeted us on arrival, was happy and welcoming, and we had a good chat. She explained everything clearly to us, and recommended restaurants and cafes when asked. She remembered us the next morning and asked how our previous evening had gone (I’d travelled specifically to surprise my parents who were in a different hotel nearby). The room was on the ground floor, close to reception. It faced to the road. It was warm, clean and tidy, but very basic (however it did not differ from the photos on the website). There’s a small kitchenette which we used for drinks only. This was great as we often liked to make drinks when in the room. The beds were basic and very firm, but we managed. The hotel is off the main road which has cafes, shops and restaurants, and a short walk from the beach, Marina, and more shops & restaurants. Bust stops and taxi stops are also very close by, and Parque de Paloma is a short walk.

The room itself lived up to expectations. For a short stay, it’s fine. Unfortunately being so close to reception meant we heard people coming and going, some of whom weren’t very respectful of other guests. There was shouting, swearing and banging of doors during the early hours. A different receptionist spoke to the people concerned and things eventually calmed down. If we stayed again, we’d ask to not be situated on the ground floor.

Very friendly staff and check in was very fast we arrived early and our room was ready and given to us which was a bonus. The location is amazing within 7 minutes to the marina and 5 minutes to the beach.

the only think i would say is the apartments could do with updating they were in need of a little TLC the curtains had holes in them but it didn't bother us as the week stay was so cheap. This wouldn't stop me from staying again.

good location, only a short walk to the sea front, marina or up to bonanza square! very spacious room with a great view, very clean!

The sun loungers are charged at €2.50 per day which I’ve never known in a hotel before. For the €2.50 though you get a thick matress to go on the loungers which we’re very comfortable so didnt mind paying. I wouldn’t have paid if it was just for the plastic loungers without the matress!

This is my first time staying here I loved the location, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the apartment was great , cute and facilities excellent, comfy bed , sea view and hot water fridge etc , a great bar with a great , lively atmosphere. Especially in winter time .out of season .Excellent value for money I will definitely stay here again . I've had a fantastic holiday and loved this hotel .
