I randomly decided to stop in Cartagena & chose to stay here which turned out to be the perfect location for walking around the neighborhood. I had a late arrival & unfortunately all the hotel parking was booked but Francisco was very helpful & offered me an alternative parking solution for the same cost. My first room was musty smelling & had some mold issues. I asked for a change because I already had a migraine from dental work the day prior & Francisco gave me an even better room looking out across at the local sites. I checked out in the morning, had my luggage stored while I walked around to see the city, before returning to leave in the afternoon. It’s a decent stay for the cost. They also have a restaurant in the hotel where I had a fabulous dinner. I would stay here again for the way I was treated & the cost was economical! I checked out prior to leaving so I could store my luggage & explore the city. When I returned I got my car from the parking garage & returned the key pass to them.

Be aware that there are often people who smoke despite the hotel having signs about No Smoking & a hotel fine of €150. It’s not their fault & it’s unfortunate some people have this addiction. Note that there are photos of a larger room that I was first given but the smaller one was my reassigned room.

We always enjoy our visits to the Hotel Los Habaneros. It has style, elegance and is in such a fantastic central location. The staff are so very friendly and welcoming and cannot be more helpful. We have enjoyed several amazing meals in the restaurant and during this last visit had a great buffet breakfast, a real “steal”😘at €10 per person which was incredible for the amount of food and drinks on offer!!!!!!! We didn’t need to eat again until supper time. I just think 🤔 that this wonderful hotel should be elevated in it’s ratings. The hotel is well located for wandering around the sights of Cartagena. We had a great room at the front of the hotel, no road noise due to the double glazing. The aircon was good and not noisy, decent WiFi and a fridge. Everything was clean. Very comfortable bed. We tried the lunch menu in the cafetería after reading good reviews on here. It was delicious and excellent value for money. Gentleman on reception was friendly and helpful. Free parking nearby and a very short walk from the train station and bus station. We will definitely stay again.

Hairdryer was useless and needs replacing. The bathroom is a bit dated.

Location was great. Just 10mins stroll to the central square. Historic sites were easily walkable. Very good breakfast & great coffee. We had 2 single rooms on the first floor which were fine. Staff in reception & dining room very helpful. We stayed 7 nights half-board & with a limited menu it got repetitive, however the food was very good. There was always space in the car park for a daily charge. Overall excellent stay. many thanks.

Great location, close to the bus station to go to Murcia beaches and a 10 mins nice stroll to the city centre. The staff is very friendly and incredibly helpful. The room was spacious and we had a large balcony viewing the punic wall! Recommended if you're staying a long weekend.

The plumbing in the bathroom made weird noises and the room was very close to the elevator, so we heard everyone coming and going. At some point we had cigarette smell in our bedroom (none of us smoke), probably coming through the vents.

Excellent location. Very short walk from both bus and train stations. Tourist Information office is right next door and the hotel is directly opposite the entrance to the Punic Wall. Very straightforward 10 minute walk into the City centre. Had lovely large room with small balcony to the front of the hotel (room 128). Minimal traffic noise. Staff excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was perfectly fine.

Nothing really though the bedroom furnishings and bathroom are maybe due a refurb.

The hotel well placed, it is within walking distance from centre of town and all points of interest. Secure Parking available on lot next to hotel.

Rooms were a bit dated and our room had a rooftop terrace, but the timber flooring was breaking up so it didn’t feel safe to walk on it, plus not much furniture out there. The shower was in the spa tub without steps, it made it very difficult for someone like me with bad knees and bad balance to get in and out of the tub

The location of the hotel was very good and the staff were excellent. It was very clean and the cafe had lovely food

It would have been nice to have coffee making facilities in the room however we knew there would not be so not a complaint just an observation. There were vending machines for drinks and snacks so we could access these 24 hrs

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the old town, close to the bus, rail stations and within walking distance of the numerous visitor attractions. The restaurant attached to the hotel offers a good daily menu. We found the staff friendly and helpful.

Would have liked to have been able to access at least one English language television station as we have very little Spanish.

The hotel is conveniently located only a few minutes walk from the railway station and five minutes walk into the centre of town. A perfect location for exploring this fascinating city. Our room was comfortable with a good shower and bidet (extra points awarded for that!). Good breakfast with a choice of hot and cold buffet. Recommended.
