Starting from the reception, we felt very welcome in this beautiful comfortable hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the receptionist offered us a map of the old town and gave us valuable pieces of advice about what to see and where to eat. We had to leave early the next morning, so an early breakfast was arranged for us. And then, when we arrived at our next destination the next day, we found out that we had left some of our clothes in the room. We contacted the hotel, and they advised us of a delivery company in Salamanca and packed our parcel to hand it to the delivery agent. We texted them through the Booking.com App, and their answers were prompt and to the point. We appreciate their concern and assistance very much. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a beautiful view of the Roman Bridge and the old city.
Our stay in the hotel was only one night, and our only regret is that we didn't stay there longer.

Located just the other side of the Roman Bridge. Really easy to walk in to town, less than 15 mins to the main centre of the Salamanca and other attractions. Had booked the hotel parking but the receptionist recommended parking in the space beside the petrol station across the road for free which worked out really well for us. Driving in Salamanca looked horrendous due to the very small streets. Parking outside and walking in was definitely a great solution. Didn't realise there was a swimming pool available, never tried it but a nice bonus. Room was very spacious with a lovely view across Salamanca from the private terrace. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice too, including a hot selection

We stayed here twice on a recent driving holiday to Spain. We chose to have one of the superior rooms with a terrace. It was worth it for the extra space and the spectacular view. Its similar to the one from the parador which is situated further up on the same side of the river. The other rooms looked fine and have a very small outside space- no view. It all feels slightly old fashioned but in a good comfortable way - excellent beds and shower. Terrace and outside seating would benefit from a little attention. Breakfast was fine and varied. Its 15 minutes walk across the Roman bridge and then uphill into Central Salamanca and worth pacing yourself as you may want to return there in the evening for dinner. It is a great location if you are driving and want a stop in Salamanca - very easy and fast to find from the motorway and has free safe parking on local streets/ at the garage opposite and an underground car park, fee payable, if you prefer that. Its 3.5 hours from Santander and Salamanca is a great city to visit. We liked it enough to stay on our return trip - not our original plan but we had a good second visit.
Terrace and outside seating would benefit from a little attention

The hotel was just outside the old town. Short walk across the pedestrian bridge, Salamanca as a whole was a big surprise. What a fun area with lots to explore and see and do, I wish I had planned for more time. Very young people and activity. Enormous plaza with so many dinning choices. It was BEAUTIFUL. Going out on the roof of the cathedral was a bonus tour the is a must experience (if you don't mind heights.
Room was dated but for the value and location no real complaint.

Location. The old town is just steps away. The view from the terrace was exceptional (I specifically asked for that). The receptionist spoke good English and was in line with the hotel look and feel. The buffet breakfast was very good, a lot to choose from and have gluten free options . I had to ask a lady who served breakfast for that. She is very sweet and the gluten free bread was ready the next morning as well (we stayed for two days).
The weird configuration of the doors in the bathroom (too many doors). No ventilation (fan) in the bathroom The restaurant downstairs was open for breakfast only, not for dinner time.

We liked this hotel as to us it is authentically Spanish. Old fashioned fittings in the rooms are what we expect in Spain (not vulgar modernity !). Lovely chairs and light fittings. The room was great with nice furniture, excellent bathroom, really comfortable beds with great long pillows. We had a great view from our balcony and the staff were extremely friendly. We parked in the street just outside. They also leave you a delicious sweet pastille every morning in the room which was a nice touch. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. The walk to Salamanca over the old Roman bridge is a great way to start the day.
Nothing.

Good location close to the old quarter of the city.
Parking is on the street or in the hotel garage at 11 euros a night. This charge seems very high considering the cost of the room. While a buffet breakfast is included in the price there is limited choice for those who have an early start (departure before 7 and the restaurant opens at 8 on a weekend). On request we were offered coffee and a single croissant. Drinks in the bar are very expensive.

Great location with a spectacular 10 min walk across the Puente Romano into central Salamanca which is simply breathtaking. Room was an excellent size and very clean. Plentiful free parking in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
WiFi was sometimes very intermittent depending where abouts in the room you were. Parking in the hotel's basement seemed prohibitively expensive at 11 euros per night given the location of the hotel: TOP TIP.... park next to the petrol station immediately opposite the front door for free!

The room was exceptionally big and luxuriously decorated in very good taste. Very elegant room and bathroom, all perfectly clean. The location was incredible, close to the river and a historical bridge, across the street from the service station with the best fuel prices, in a calm neighbourhood. The gentleman at the recaption was a great example of politeness, perfect English and manners. Will go again for a longer stay, the area deserves to be explored.
The matress was a bit stiff and uneven.
