There is nothing to criticize about the hotel; everything was great. Just make sure you choose either smoking or non-smoking accommodations according to your preference, as they take care to separate guests by floors in this category.

The area, the views from the room and the bright space, the shower was great and overall the room is very good.

I didn’t like that when I went to see my room it was opened, normally it should be closed so you know no one has been there. I didn’t like that the cleaning stuff enters the room without knocking, regardless there’s a tag on the door or not, in ALL the hotels I have been they always have to knock. Here they just come in without even letting you say anything. Also they start so early to move furniture without any care that the guest are still sleeping around 8/9 AM.

Well-run mid-range hotel with pleasant, clean, air-conditioned and beautifully designed rooms... ours with a fantastic view to the cathedral! Helpful and friendly reception. Architecturally interesting connected to the ruins of San Polo church. Good location for exploring the sights of this impressive city on foot.

Parking situation is a bit complicated. To check in you can park just in front of the hotel. The blue zones nearby are not big and were always full. Two parking garages nearby: We were able to use the one closest to us after we had installed the app (Telpark?)... (if you don't use the,app, you will have to pay quite a lot more) .... ticket-free parking garage... then entry and exit was easy, but the interior is narrow and built up. Breakfast variety, quality and atmosphere do not really correspond with the good impression of the hotel we got in general.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. In my opinion it looks better in person than the pictures (usually it's the other way around). We got a nicely maintained room with an all-marble bathroom and a spectacular view of the cathedral right from the window. The hotel appears to be built beside and over a ruin of an old church, which is cool in itself, and looks like it's used as the restaurant terrace when the weather is warmer. It's a 5-10 min walk from here to all of Salamanca's attractions. There's an elevator here, which is good for luggage. Staff are accommodating.

Not really much to complain about, other than this hotel does not allow you to bring any food into your room. There is confusingly a mini-fridge in the room, but we couldn't open it due to the way the cabinet around it was constructed.

Fabulous location, on the edge of the historic area with a 5 minute walk to the main Plaza. Very comfortable bed, the bathroom had a bath and excellent shower. The room and public areas were spotlessly clean. We only have a snack for breakfast and were able to buy a coffee and a croissant, rather than have a large hotel breakfast.

The room was old fashioned and a bit tired, it could do with a refurb but not to the point that it detracted from our stay .

Location was excellent. The room was comfortable.

The bath/shower screen has a fault and when taking a shower water spills on the floor and floods the bathroom and beyond. We ended up having to mop the floor as guests. Very bad! Breakfast isn't good value, at times some items are not refilled. Bacon is not cooked well, very dry.

Bedroom and bathroom were hugel comfortable and clean. We stayed on the 1st floor with a view over the square directly outside the front door. Breakfast was typically European and very good quality, it was good to see fresh fruit available as well.

No kettle or cups, so tea or coffee in rooms were not encouraged - we did ask for hot water and made ourselves a hot drink. Would suggest that tea/coffee making facilities be introduced and situated the appliances in the common room at the end of each level.

Breakfast is alright. It’s basic, but it’s good enough. The breakfast equipment was broke on our second day of stay. I feel really bad for the dining room hostess. There was a line because every order has to be order has to be cooked individually. People were understanding and calm, but it was obviously stressful for the staff of 2 person.

The hotel has the ruins of an old 12th century San Polo church the view from our room was of the stunning Salamanca Cathedral. You couldn’t get a better cultural location!!. Absolutely an excellent location . We found parking close nearby and the hotel was clean and adequate for a stay of a few nights it is so easy to walk into the centre and see all of the site easily from here.

Breakfast was average.

On the edge of the medieval centre of Salamanca and constructed to protect the remains of the 12th century church of San Polo, the hotel was the perfect base for a visit to historic Salamanca. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was comprehensive and of good quality. Great hot shower! Parking was available about 40 metres away making access easy. Great value as well as a delight.
