View is amazing! Pool lovely, with nice grass for your feet. Water a bit cold. Super kind pool attendants. Pool bathrooms lovely. Views from the room to the cathedral and nunnery. Very friendly staff, speaking very good English. Location was excellent - short walk to everything Salamanca. Parking on location. Very beautiful locationa, lovely outside bar area. The breakfast location is just gorgeous, everything very elegant without being stuffy.

Almost nothing. One thing went not as planned, but I am only telling it as advice to check before you book. One of the reasons we choose this hotel was because of the restaurant, very good, on location and lovely terrace and interior!! Upon arrival we discovered it was closed for a private party. Very unfortunate....however the staff did everything to make up for it: they reccommend and and booked another restaurant for us, and then still feeling a bit bad they delivered a bottle of Cava on ice to our room. Truely special. But if you want to book the restaurant, check in advance. Our advice.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful central location right next to St Stephen’s convent and ideal for sightseeing in the beautiful city of Salamanca. The hotel decor is extremely stylish. Our room was pleasant and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. The breakfasts were delicious with a great deal of choice and the breakfast staff were pleasant and efficient.

We like to have windows open for fresh air, but there were quite a few flies and a complimentary fly spray would have been very welcome. The pool which looks so beautiful in the online photographs was closed and will not open till 15 June. This should be stated in the description of the pool under the Amenities tab.

Very warm welcome by staff. Car looked after by staff and parked securely. Booked a superior room which had a great view over the convent next door - with the bonus of several nesting storks at the same eye level as our room. Room was a good size, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast and service there was excellent. Swimming pool and gardens were an excellent bonus.

The only thing was the air conditioning in our room - which was a bit annoying as we could never get it right. Even on lowest setting air was too cold and blowing onto the bed, so at night it was a bit off and on.

Within Salamanca it's difficult to have a place for your car. The offered, secure slot on the property is a great plus. But aside this, really outstanding is the pool and the view from the pool on the old city of Salamanca. You can't have a better spot. Rooms are offer great space, only small remark on the tub, where you might see, that any property is aging. But anyhow I enjoyed the shower. Last, we booked with breakfast and city within the old part of this historic building and feel this atmosphere of history during breakfast was amazing. Outstanding

Basically it was perfect. As mentioned above, the bath tub in my room has undergone some not perfect repair, which from an optical perspective 1st hand found not adequate for such a hotel. But hence, all things work as proposed. May therefore the recommendation to the management would be better replace the whole tub instead of try to do a repair which you can see.

If you can afford it, book a superior room; the view of the cathedrals and the Convent of San Esteban is really spectacular. What made it even more special were the storks nesting on the roof of the convent; there were 2 nests directly opposite our room and we could watch the parents feeding the chicks! The room itself was a good size with a really comfortable bed and also 2 chairs and a desk. It had a nice bathroom with a shower over the bath and plenty of hot water. We didn't eat at the hotel in the evening but the breakfasts were great with plenty of choice. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing!

The Hotel was superb. From the moment we arrived one of the staff was there to meet us, collect our luggage and take or car way to be parked. The team then organised a really good restaurant in the city centre and gave us easy and help directions. Situation is perfect as 5-6 mins walk from Plaza Mayor which is truly spectacular on a warm and pleasant summer evening. Beautiful architecture and friendly vibrant atmosphere. We will be visiting again at the same time next year.

No faults - really good and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a junior suite and it was really lovely. Slightly dark as it only had one window, but you are staying in a historical building. Gorgeous building, a real warren of corridors. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Five minute walk to Cathedral and 10 max to the Plaza Mayor. Salamanca is a beautiful city to visit.

I honestly couldn't fault the hotel, but if you want nitpicking, the only thing I could say is that housekeeping put the bed cushions on the floor at turndown and I really didn't fancy them being put back on the bed!

The location is perfect for exploring the old part of the city by foot. The staff were very helpful. Valet parking was great. The room was super clean and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a very nice hotel and yet the toiletetry products in the bathroom were full of toxic chemicals. Be kind to your clients and the environment and consider using truly natural and organic soaps and lotions. It says alot about you... I have stayed in lesser hotels that use far better products and it makes a really good impression. It says you care ...

Beautiful, well located, historic building with a kind and welcoming staff. Large room, stocked with amenities. They had a bottle of cava and chocolates in the room as we were celebrating a special occasion, which was a nice touch. I would stay there again. Electric charging was available.

The hotel accepts dogs, but not in the restaurant which is fine. However, even though breakfast was included in our rate, it was only available in the restaurant. They weren't able to offer a different solution (deliver to room, let us come and take a tray away, etc.) and we didn't want to leave our dog unattended in the room--so no breakfast... Fortunately, we had some pastries from a local bakery and later enjoyed a coffee on the beautiful square of Salamanca. Room was a bit noisy due to location above parking area and proximity to restaurant where there was an event going on. I would ask for a different room if I were to go back.

The room was lovely and quiet. The amenities in the room are excellent, including a kettle and a choice of tea, as well as a bottle of water. Service is very friendly. Hotel location is excellent, within easy walking distance to the historic city.

The bed could be more comfortable - the mattress is quite hard, as are the pillows The kitchen opens quite late at night (8pm), which I understand is common in spain but is inconvenient for travellers with a long day of travelling behind them and/or ahead of them, and who are too tired to go into town. Although the hotel accepts dogs (which is excellent and hard to find in Spain), dogs are not allowed on the premises beyond reception and some outdoor spaces (fine in summer, but more problematic in winter).
