We chose this property as we needed parking. The bonus was the view we had walking into town across the bridge and the lovely views from the bar. The walk into town really didn't take long and was very straightforward, even I couldn't get lost with my terrible sense of direction! The room and bathroom were huge, we had lots of space.
The gym had restricted opening times, due to it's proximity to the bedrooms. So you couldn't have a quick session before breakfast. There was no water in there and despite having incredible views across to the City, the running machine (which I'd guess would be the most used, was behind a wall. With a little tweaking, this could be improved to a more useful facility. The property itself was a little dated, but the views from the bar at night you would miss out on if staying in town.

Our view of the city was unbelievable. It was like a painting. Easily the highlight. The parking was very simple and free. Reception was quietly friendly. We asked for an iron and ironing board and it was delivered promptly. We liked being just far enough away from the noise and traffic of the city. It was a lovely 15 minute walk across the magnificent Roman Bridge to the city. Hotel was easy to find. We would have liked to have stayed a couple more nights as we didn't have enough time to enjoy more of the hotel facilities. We had moderate expectations and happily they were exceeded.
No coffee machine but we asked for a kettle to make our own tea and it was delivered within minutes.

The property is relatively new but the position is great with lovely views to the cathedral and only a short walk away from the city. Very clean and spacious. Didn’t use the restaurant but snacks in the bar were good.
Disappointed that as the pool was closed we weren’t allowed to sit in pool area to enjoy the late summer sun. We originally booked for 2nights with very good rate but needed to stay an extra night and the price rocketed which was a shame. The bar area was very chilly early evening, several people had to put coats and jackets on. The waiter suggested doing his job for a while would warm us up- fine but not especially professional.

The Parador was easy to find and the parking facilities were very good. We stayed here twice. Once en route to Portugal and once on the way home. The rooms were very comfortable and very, very quiet. Plenty of hot water in the bathrooms. There is a mini bar in the bedroom (which is huge, the bedroom, not the fridge) but no tea or coffee making facilities, however there is a cafeteria on the ground floor. We opted for breakfast which was absolutely fabulous. It seems that everyone was well catered for, breads, cakes, pastries, cereals, meats, fruit, yoghurt, coffee tea and juices. All serve yourself. The staff were lovely and very helpful.
The grouting in the bathroom was tired and would benefit from a bit of attention. The Aircon was a little noisy but would not stop us from stopping there again

Well what can you say, a Parador is something special! Whilst it's out of town, it's a short taxi trip, 8euros, to experience the fabulous Plaza Major and in the evening it truly comes alive ! When you arrive and stand in one of the arches entering the Plaza, you are suddenly aware of the hum of conversations by a thousand and more people! Nothing intimidating, but inviting you in to enjoy the whole occasion! Around it's glorious architectural magnificence, all lit after dark, there are many restaurants and bars to excite the palate and senses! So, don't miss out, enjoy one of THE experiences that this ancient city has to offer, if you do, you'll remember this place always ! This is The Real Spain!!!
Well, nothing !

Hotel a few minutes walk from centre but worth it for the view of the city. We came by train from Segovia and got bus from station to within 5 minutes walk of parador. Lovely bar area inside and outside on terrace and staff were very efficient and friendly. Beautiful room with view of City.
Only had breakfast one day as thought it was quite expensive compared to other hotels we stayed in. Found the breakfast area a bit disorganised. The cook making the eggs ,omlettes etc was often not at his 'station' and you could see guests were a bit confused what to do--needed somebody there all the time to make guests feel welcome. The biggest surprise and disappointment was that the outdoor swimming pool only opens on 17th June. We were told it was only open for Summer---well, given it was 30 /31 degrees whilst we were there late May, I would call that Summer!

Free outside parking or garaged parking for €19. Helpful staff - but see below. Outside appearance is quite ugly but the inside more than made up for this. Long walk to key sites but taxis are plentiful and cost around €13 round trip
We had a light tea on our first evening. Service poor despite the valiant efforts of staff which deterred us from booking dinner. Similar experience at reception. Ill-fitting windows which leads to draughts and noise from high winds. Need to ask for kettle as no other drinks available.

Fabulous views of the city right from our room, king size bed, wonderful bath, minibar fridge, drinks on the terrace
Breakfast at 19 euro was not good value. Especially disappointing as previous reviews have made suggestions which have not been acted upon. Need another coffee machine to avoid extensive waits; need full-size muesli portions with bigger spoons for cereal instead of teaspoons; need some system for the hot food - perhaps the chef stationed there full-time, a bain marie or maybe you could order when you give your room number on entering.

The accommodation is in a perfect location with a beautiful view of the cathedral. Just a 10 min walk to the centre with the shops and restaurants. The view from our room was stunning, especially at night.. There were ample free parking places and also secure underground for an extra charge. Perfect for our motorbike. There was a cafe style restaurant and also a nice restaurant for an evening meal. The breakfast was superb. The pool area was nice and refreshing on a hot day, but in early June, the water is still very cold.
There was nothing not to like.

Location and parking (we were in a camper van en route to Seville). The room was fantastic with a view to die for, directly over to Salamanca. Also loved the building itself, quite brutal architecture, but somehow it worked!
Breakfast on day one was a bit of a disaster! There had been three coach loads of tourists before us and there was barely anything left. The dining room looked like a tornado had hit it! Not the fault of the staff who were working hard, but the tourists (older people) were stocking up food in their bags and serviettes without a thought for anyone else! We did get food, but had to seek out staff for hot drinks! Not great at all for the price we paid. The following day was serene and just what we’d expect, with good service.
