The property was clean and vibrant, the staff were friendly and helpful. For instance there was a very minor issue with something in the bathroom, I reported it so they would know it needed fixing, but they fixed it immediately.

The doors - perhaps for security, noise or perhaps air temperature control (or all of them) - operated on an airlock principle, you couldn’t open the sinner doors until the outer doors had shut. The timing was such that you would be standing at the second doors by the time the first doors shut. Then if you didn’t move the doors would remain shut.

Location can hardly be bettered, as the hotel is 5-10 minutes’ walk from Atocha Station. The hotel vibe is not subtle but it is entertaining and staff members were uniformly kind and helpful. Rooms were a little on the cosy side, but well-appointed, very quiet and comfortable. The Calle Argamusa nearby offers many opportunities for bohemian, relaxed eating and drinking.

The price we paid was not quite justified by the facilities. The location of the washbasin in the main part of the room is quirky, to say the least. Staff did not explain that the roomcard was needed to operate the lift (although I accept that this is becoming standard).

Lovely place and lovely rooms all the staff are super friendly. We had dinner through room service and was absolutely lovely.

We had a room facing the reception, which was nice but extremely loud. Windows need to be soundproofed somehow as until 12/1am we heard other guests at the bar then at 6am I assume workers chatting. We were the 4th floor up too. We just weren’t aware it would be this loud and did affect sleep. The air con also makes a constant ticking noise, meaning we couldn’t have it on overnight as kept waking us up.

can't even begin to count all the great things about this hotel and the surprising discovery of the hard rock hotel experience! from the moment we made the reservation to the moment we checked out and were on route to the airport the staff were super helpful, kind and welcoming. we loved every detail of the hotel itself and the rooms super well equipped with all the amenities, amazing comfortable bed, incredible shower and perfectly cleaned room everyday. the pool and garden was a nice little retreat during the hot weather and though the pool was small it was perfect to refresh. the restaurant was great and breakfast had a nice choice including made to order eggs, omelets and pancakes. samuel the concierge had the best tips for our family to explore the city and the hard rock store onsite was a great plus! carlos was great with our daughter ;-). roof top terrace was also nice for a drink in the evening.

We stayed in a superior double room with city view (of the Ronda de Atocha). Not at all noisy, though. The bed was comfortable. The accommodation was adequate but not at all luxurious. The staff were all very helpful. The hotel was very convenient for Estacion Madrid Puerta de Atocha, also for access to Reina Sofia Museum, The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, the Prado, and the Botanic Gardens. It is not far from Plaza Mayor. The rock memorabilia in the lounge was mildly entertaining.

The room was a bit cramped and the costs overall were a bit higher than I had anticipated.

The hotel was great. The best bed I have slept in, in Europe. Plus love the huge shower and seperate toilet. Also a really big size TV. As most hotels don’t have an ironing board and iron they provided a steamer in the room which was a bonus.

The location. We did chose it to be close to the central station but as we learnt you have the metro train right at the airport. As well as direct line to the central station in the city which is run by a different company. Having the metro line at the airport will take you anywhere in the city, so we would next time stay more in the heart of the city.

Staff super friendly and professional. The coffee / tea facilities in the room were top notch not to mention the fully stacked mini bar even though I didn't use it except for the Minute Maid Orange juice in the morning. Few little treats and super comfortable bed. The shower is big and loved that the toilet was in a separate cubicle. All round 5 stars and will def stay here again on my next stop over.

The room was fantastic, with an amazing style and atmosphere that truly made us feel special. The music and overall ambiance were incredible, and the view from the rooftop terrace was breathtaking. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to play the legendary electric guitar in our room, which was a dream come true for us!

However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. In the restaurant, the food was not entirely satisfactory; specifically, the chicken breast was excessively salty. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room blew directly onto the bed, which was uncomfortable for sleeping. Lastly, the entrance to the hotel has a staircase that is inconvenient to navigate with heavy luggage. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the unique experience that the Hard Rock Hotel Madrid offers. With a few small improvements, it would be perfect.

Location was great, room was lovely (we upgraded to superior room) and beds super comfortable. Pool area was lovely. Staff are nice and friendly. The memorabilia is cool, good sound system in the room and great shower !

Breakfast was okay but nothing special. Took over 30 minutes and multiple requests to get gluten free bread and they didn't bring the gluten free pastries which had been promised. When we finally got the bread (a few minutes before breakfast was over) they had started cleaning up around us, including taking apart and dusting a nearby lampshade which was odd. We didn't bother getting breakfast in the hotel the next day even though we had paid. There's plenty of other nice breakfast spots in the area so we wouldn't bother getting breakfast there if we go back.

Location was excellent - right beside the Reina Sofia art centre and very close to Atocha railway station. People were lovely - we were impressed with their friendliness. The bar area was good with a lively atmosphere. Unfortunately the rooftop bar was not open during our stay. Breakfast was good - lots to choose from. Rooms were a decent size, quiet and modern; very clean although the layout was slightly unusual with the sink and mirror outside the main bathroom where the toilet and shower were. Comfortable beds.

We weren’t keen on the handbasin and mirrors being outside the en suite bathroom. The operation of the lifts was rather unpredictable.
