I had an excellent stay! The check-in process was quick and hassle-free, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was warm and cozy, which was perfect for a chilly January night. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the complimentary coffee and biscuits were a thoughtful touch. The bath towels were soft and luxurious, adding a nice bit of indulgence to the experience. The Wi-Fi was impressively fast, which made staying connected effortless. On top of all this, the location was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Hotel is very well located, nearby Atocha Trains station. We arrived by train and walkes to the hotel, and left by plane, walking again to the station to get the bus to the airport without any issue. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was quite small and air conditioning was not working (we were told they already switched to heat at this time of the year). Room is not big, but fits well a couple with luggage. Shower is good and bed too. The room had no view.

Price was a bit high and the room had no view (window facing inwards).

The receptionist was exceptional. I arrived earlier just to leave my suitcase, but he said that one of the rooms is already ready, so I can take it. Thank you! The location is perfect, very close to all the tourist attractions. I could never imagine that in such a big city as Madrid I would simply walk and never have a need to use metro. The bus to the airport stops nearby, it is very easy and convenient to travel by bus or by train to and from the hotel.

It was a but strange not to have a bathroom door in the room. Though the bathroom itself was clean and convenient.

What was not to like? The location is great, just a few minute walk from the botanical gardens.. and more!! But most of all, really one of the best staffing experiences I’ve ever had. Not just nice and helpful, but so friendly and ALWAYS smiling… I took an extra minute to shake their hands and thank them multiple times for making our stay that much better

The only thing I could not figure out was the air conditioner (it was a bit warm when we got there). It I opened the door to the tiny balcony and it cooled down perfectly

Great location close to metro and train station and walking distance to attractions. Some reviews said there was only a curtain separating the bathroom. That is not true, there was a sliding door. Staff was very helpful letting us know what was available and giving advice on the metro system. Coffee in lobby was very good. Great value!

I would have liked to see the upper terrace open earlier in the morning so I could have watched the sunrise. Sunset was great though

Very close to train station, centrally located with easy access to the Prado, Thyssen Museum and Botanical garden park. Outside it was noisy, but when i closed the windows it was very quiet. The room had no character to it but it had a great view enhanced by a beautiful sculpture of Jesus with one hand and a snake, the other on a child. The room had sound proofing by the bed so this will let you do your “bed workout” with no suppressed inhibitions. The staff was all invariably helpful. They did have a garden area. If you go ask for room 501, it willhave the good view.

There was no real closet for the clothes. The coffee machine did not have good coffee.

Very welcoming staff at the reception. Someone is available 24/7 which is very convenient, and you are able to store your luggage after checkout. The room was small and quite dark, but for the price its more or less whats expected - it was very clean and had all the basics.

The lights in the halls are motion-activated and turn off very fast, so if you are waiting for the elevator and stand still for a few seconds, you end up standing in total darkness which is a bit uncomfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sea urban Hotel in Madrid, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel. Nestled conveniently close to the Atocha station, the hotel is within easy walking distance, making it an ideal base for travellers like myself who are on the go. Despite only staying for a few hours before catching a night flight, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, which I greatly appreciated. My room, although booked as a single, felt spacious and was perfectly equipped with everything I needed for my brief stay. It's rare to find such thoughtful amenities and comfort in budget accommodations, making the C Urban Hotel stand out in my travels.

There wasn't a single aspect of my stay that I didn't like. From the efficient service to the comfortable room, everything was spot on. It's a hotel I would gladly recommend to anyone looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay in Madrid. Without a doubt, I would choose the sea Urban Hotel again for my future visits.

- Somewhat thin walls, but sound-proof padding helps. - Lack of a proper door between bathroom and room. - Lack of fan in bathroom for steam removal. - Double bed a bit on the small side for two people.

Great location, close to subway and 15 mins from walk Plaza Mayor, room and bed was nice, lots of bars and restauarants within walking distance. We arrived early and managed to check in a couple of hours early as the receptionist made some changes and gave us a free room. Roof terrace nice to sit for a coffee or chat. For the price, great value and friendly staff, would stay again.

no toilet door (curtain used instead), which was not the best and view from room was not great. Looked on to a back alley which was not very nice. No facilities really apart from room/toilet.
