Menager.. we paid for the room from April 24th to April 28th, and due to the flight delay, we only checked in on the 25th. We tried to explain to the manager, but he ran away like Quick Gonzalez and didn't even consider our case. The other workers were great.

We've had an AMAZING stay @ Hotel Regina! I honestly don't know where to start.. It was my first time in Madrid and we had heard and read amazing things about this hotel so decided to book this one and try it out. - Location: located centrally between 'Sevilla' and 'Puerta Del Sol', walking distance to all everything there is to be seen in Madrid. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, everything you need at walking distance - Hotel itself is gorgeous, cosy, clean, price/quality is unmatched. We had a superior room on the 6th floor with a small terrace and next to the top floor terrace, absolutely wonderful! No noise whatsoever from other guests. The rooms comes with all the amenities, products, blow dryer, flat iron,.. Great beds, lots of pillows. - Breakfast: I was hesitant about this because generally when breakfast is included in the price, it's literally 2 apples and a yoghurt and questionably quality but I did not expect this ENORMOUS and delicious breakfast buffet with everything you wish for (several kinds of eggs, bacon, churros, pancakes, beans, bread, toast, pastries, yoghurt, charcuterie, sweets, cornflakes, cheese, fruit,..) - Staff: absolutely amazing, so sweet and professional, always happy to assist (for example when my husband lost his wallet on our last day :-)) I would book this hotel again and again and again!

Room was very nice. Had the Jacuzzi tube and nice bathroom. Breakfast was excellent to have every morning. Staff was very friendly and welcoming every time they saw you. Little things like this makes you want to come back.

The key card to my room didn't work. For some reason 532 would work then the next time it wouldn't work. This happen twice to me during a three night stay. Staff was able to assist. It was annoying to have to go back to the front desk to be able to get into your room.

We had a long, 9 night stay, and upon check in they offered us a free room upgrade. The room was huge, exceptionally clean and modern and the facilities being offered were those of a 4+ star hotel. We even had an iron and and an ironing board in our room! The breakfast was fantastic, it had great variety and everything was fresh. There's also a very nice and quiet terrace on the roof where you can relax or work. I really want to thank the staff and especially the cleaning staff for their amazing work!

Small amount of natural sunlight due to the room's windows looking out to a very small "courtyard" in the middle of the building. This was not too much of a problem because everything else was exceptional!

The location was excellent. Close to everything and right near a metro train station. We were able to walk everywhere by foot. the design is modern, the room is not very big but most definitely enough. everything was clean. the bathroom was big and spacious. it was very hot outside and the air conditioner worked great. there was a nespresso machine in the room with complementary capsules. also complementary 2 bottles of water. the breakfast was good, wouldn’t say it was amazing, but we were full. would appreciate more vegetable selection at breakfast. the staff were very nice and helpful.

our flight was at night, so we wanted to do a late check out. they allowed it, which was great, but demanded a charge of 10euros per hour. we paid it and it was very comfortable to be able to rest and shower before the flight.

Clean, comfortable, modern rooms with all the amenities, like air conditioning. Wonderful, helpful staff provided extra towels, chocolates during turndown service, delicious restaurant recommendations and reservations. The best breakfast buffet with eggs, meats, cheeses, fruits, pastries, and all types of beverages from detox to fresh squeezes oj, to champagne, to espresso. You could also ask for any type of omlet made to order. Such a wonderful experience at the beginning of our trip that we went back at the end.

We actually liked the smaller room on a lower floor than the more extravagant room, because the elevator was a bit slow. The individual shampoos, lotions, and conditioners were preferable to the bottles on the wall. The small dark chocolates were preferable to the box of assorted, but still very nice, chocolates. The first room had more lights than the second.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were cleaned well, great location, nice restaurants, sight seeing and shopping nearby. The rainfall shower is divine and all the bathroom products were top notch. The breakfast buffet was nice.

I paid about $500/night for the suite and stayed 3 nights and booked 3 rooms, so was a bit salty I had to pay an extra EUR20 to extend check out by 2hours for 1 room. The restaurant has limited options, no pasta, no paella, but I have to say the best mini burgers and sangria we had in Madrid

Fabulous hotel, beautiful room, truly exceptional staff and service. The Concierge gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants, places to visit, Flamenco shows and so forth. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Breakfast absolutely lived up to its reputation, with excellent quality and choices. Really the best so far. The location of the Regina was perfect for us, close to the metro, within walking distance of the museums, many restaurants and shops. This was our first proper visit to Madrid and we fell in love with it. It's a very clean city and easy to move around. Many of the museums have free entry for a couple of hours in the evening and reduced entry prices for seniors (ID required). The metro system is easy to navigate and good value with the metro card, which (I think) can be topped up. The card and 10 journeys cost us about 9 euros, which we were able to share. We had booked a superior room with a courtyard view but upgraded to a deluxe room that looked out over the main thoroughfare. Loved it! Good soundproofing and air conditioning, lovely beds and a superb super-shower!! Yep, really loved this place and look forward to returning.

First, the location. Can't get any better than that. Within a 10 to 15 min walk to pretty much everything we wanted to do. Endless choice of amazing restaurants, attractions and shops around you. Metro stations nearby. 25 minutes to Santiago Bernabeu Stadium by metro. The hotel itself was such a pleasant experience. The decor, the cleanliness, the amazing breakfast buffet... the rooms were spacious, clean and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable. And the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. Always smiling and ready to help. A truly wonderful experience overall

Absolutely nothing

At the start when you are taken to your room and shown and explained how the dark out shutters, the air conditioner, tv and mini fridge work. The front desk staff were incredible. They all were so helpful, acknowledged you with a Hola when you went by them...and the is all of them..the best customer service we have experienced at any hotel in a very long time.

The mini fridge did not keep the beverages cold and ran very hot. I asked someone to look at it and I wasn't there to see if they did, but the cleaning staff left the cupboard door open where the fridge was located and that solved the problem. I would suggest that they just take off the door to the cupboard or drill holes where the fridge is located and let the heat escape if not the fridge just doesn't get or stay cold.
