New hostel in Madrid. Good facilities and location for short or long stay. The hostel project has been a beautiful interior design. Nice rooms with comfortable beds and well organized for each guest to have their own space for their belongings. The Commom area is great for meeting new friends and quiet as well to work during travel. Subway and Supermarkets right around the corner. 5 min away from Plaza de España. All of the staff members were fantastic during all my 10 days here in Madrid. Thank you Rodrigo (manager) for working so hard to take care of this place so well. Doris, Yuanga and Davi - and all Petit Hostel Staff members - thank you for the hospitality and being so kind during my stay. If you’re travelling solo or with friends it’s an amazing place to stay.

During my recent trip to Madrid, I had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hostel that made my visit even more memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff, who made me feel right at home. The hostel itself was clean, modern, and well-located, making it easy to explore the city. The atmosphere was vibrant and social, perfect for meeting fellow travelers from around the world. I particularly enjoyed the common areas, which were great for relaxing, chatting, or simply enjoying a coffee after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing me to prepare my own meals, and there were plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby if I preferred to try the local cuisine. One of the highlights of my stay was the daily activities organized by the hostel, such as group walks around the city, tapas tours, and even a flamenco night. These activities gave me a deeper connection to Madrid and its culture, while also offering a chance to bond with other travelers. The hostel also provided excellent amenities such as free Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, and secure lockers. I felt safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. It was also very affordable, which made it even better value for money. Overall, my experience at the hostel in Madrid was exceptional. It exceeded all my expectations, and I would definitely stay there again on my next visit to the city. If you’re looking for a fun, social, and comfortable place to stay in Madrid, I highly recommend it!

The beds offer a lot of privacy and the bathroom in the room is huge. The two girls working in the mornings were super kind and helpful. The location is really good and close to some supermarkets and the metro.
If you arrive before check in or need to hang out for a few hours before checking out, you have to pay to store your bags. The kitchen only has a toaster and a microwave, so you can’t really cook anything. The common area doesn’t have a comfortable place to hang out, just chairs with no backs or a small awkward bench. If you need to make a phone call you should probably just go somewhere else because it’s a small space with loud music and lots of people and there’s no other space. I also did my laundry and after drying my clothes on high heat for 1 hour they were still pretty wet.

Stayed first one night and then another night, which I could reserve on the place with a discount. Staff was helpful and they were managing the place well, with 24 h check-in. Could buy drinks from the place and breakfast was quite good. Common area downstairs with the reception was nice, although a bit small. There was possibilities for laundry and using a computer. Could also leave your luggage in a storage locker with an extra price. Sleeping room was quite small but beds were in almost like in a capsule with curtain so there was privacy. Place was quite modern with cool atmosphere. Location is excellent near the Principe Pio station and with a walking distace to the palacio area and the Templo de Debod hill. Would stay again on my next visit to Madrid.
Basically there was one toilet and one shower in the room for eight beds, which could get a crowded and make you wait in the morning if all beds are vacant. Towel was not included in the price, but could easily rent one with 2€

Excellent hostel. Modern and new. Clean, Comfortable beds. Very good staff. Nice basic kitchen area and lounge. Location is very good right near metro, shopping and center of town.
As the Name suggests...it is Petit (small) so there is not much room to hang out and do any work or relaxing, the dorm room is very compact and not much room to move (however i liked the ensuite bathroom which was inside its own area. It would be nice if they had a luggage storage area....they only have a few lockers to rent for smaller bags which is not convenient for most travelers.

Slept in a 8-person room The place is really clean, the bed and duvet are comfy The privacy curtain for each bed is a BIG FAT plus! <3 + hooks at the foot end of bed for eg. hanging up clothes and/or (wet) towels + shelf + own power sockets + own light Also you get your own private spacious locker underneath the bed. + very useful informative and efficient (whatsapp) messages from the hostel prior and during your stay A very short walk to PrĂncipe Pio metro station, and near main buzzing areas. 10/10 recommend for any solo traveller on a budget!
The BRIGHT sensor light by the door that automatically turns on as soon as it senses movement brightens up the room and can mess with your sleep. Also, I slept in #2 and the bedroom door wouldn't close so light and sounds from the shower/toilet area seeped into the bedroom. Lastly, just one shower + 1 toilet for 8 people :( (Luckily I hadn't have to queue up one time because others slept in)

The facility was pleasant and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and clean. The staff was correct, it depends on who. The only downside is that the rooms are small and you are very close to someone you don't know, but you still have privacy. I'm talking about a mixed room, where it's a bit of a problem when there are men around you, especially if they're not meticulous, but since it's a hostel, everything has its price. Excellently designed lockers for storing things, so security against theft is at a high level. The building is very nicely decorated, everything is practically new in it, which is a big advantage. The location is excellent, right near the bus station and right across from the metro station. Big shop at the end of the street. The location is fantastic. Breakfast cost 5e, quite a fair price for a nice meal. All in all, we are satisfied.
Lack of windows and fresh air, as well as natural light. Small rooms

Amazing (almost completely) central location, with a near big train and metro station (Principe Pio), a market around the corner, the Palacio Real up the street. I met a lot of nice people, most of them also solo (as I was). The beds are nice and have a little shelf and hangers inside, together with electricity sockets and a curtain. I also used the kitchen and could store stuff in the fridge.
Most of the hostel is underground, so don't expect windows. Also the name Petit tells the size of the rooms, which means there isnt much space between beds, but enough to open a big suitcase. The kitchen has no stove, so you can only microwave food or boil hot water. There were supposed to be some activities every night planned, but while I was there there werent any.

The location was great, right in the city centre and very close to the metro station. The beds and bathrooms were generally clean. The beds provided a lot of privacy for a hostel. The lockers under the beds were very spacious. Cool common areas. Friendly staff.
No stove in the kitchen, but that helped me figure out how to cook pasta in a microwave, so not all bad :) I generally like it when there are some activities organised at the hostel, and this one didn't have any, but that's not a big flaw.

Good facilities, breakfast was OK not a massive selection but can't complain, best bit was how social everyone was which is largely down to the lay out of the common area, its small, which is always good if you're solo travelling because it almost forces you to socialise, don't worry though if you're not a chatty person there is definitely enough room for you to enjoy you're own company. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Overall very happy
The lockers were rather loud, they basically opened downwards, meaning the door bangs on the floor, a little annoying when people were leaving early in the morning and doing their own thing. Other than that no complaints.
