Placement is very good, Comfortable room. Very clean. Great breakfast. Beautiful view from the small balcony.

It is very noisy outside at night, so we had to sleep with the window closed. Because of this, the room was stuffy, and the air conditioner only worked for heating, so we did not turn it on. It would be nice if there was a kettle or coffee machine in the room, or at least somewhere in the dining room or near the reception. There is no outlet near one of the beds.

Central to everything in a walking district of Madrid. It was clean and very quiet, in spite of all the crowds outside.

No washcloths. It’s hard to use liquid soap without a washcloth. Room was a bit small, pictures made it look bigger, but that’s not really an issue.

Great location, close to the major tourist areas. Very nice and helpful staff. Our rooms were exceptionally clean, with good quality linen and good lighting. Reading lights by the bed were a bonus. The beds were incredibly comfortable with a choice of pillow heights. Blackput curtains for those that require them. The bathrooms were a good size and with nice towels. Toiletries and courtesy packs were all recyclable l, as were the water containers (complimentary) so it was very nice to see a hotel make this extra effort for the environment.

Our rooms opened onto an airwell with rather noisy air-conditioning running below. They were quiet with the window closed. A guy was smoking at the window opposite and could see straight into our room if the curtain was not drawn. Our booking showed rooms with windows facing the Plaza. We were only passing through (late arrival, early departure), so we didn't bother trying to change, but I suggest checking your room on arrival to ensure it is what you booked.

The location was great, the staff was amazing, the room was a little small but very clean. I will be back if I have for sure. Thanks so much

The room was a little small, if we were two I will look for a bigger room. And also the room was to dark during the day.

The hotel was really impressive, right on a pedestrian street in the heart of Madrid, just a five-minute walk from the Plaza Puerta del Sol. It's super easy to walk everywhere from there. The staff were a pleasure to deal with and the rooms were modern, spacious and had new fittings. We were there in December and the room temperature was perfect. It was quiet and comfortable to be in.

This is a very minor issue, but despite the modern design and good renovation, they already need some cosmetic repairs in some places perhaps they have been densely used during year. It also turned out that the magnetic key for our room door was acting strangely and required special skills to work with it (!) I hope that for the new season there will be a chance to add more shine to this wonderful place.

Location was ideal - so much to see and taste within walking distance. The room was very small but perfectly comfortable - the bed was good. The bathroom was more spacious with an excellent shower. The breakfast was outstanding in variety & quality - health orientated but not shy with the traditional good stuff. The breakfast on offer was better than hotels I've stayed at in Berlin, China & Hong Kong. And the friendly faces in the morning was wonderful. it's exactly what I read in the reviews before choosing this hotel, it is great if you are solo traveler. Little things like use of the mini router for city wide wifi during my stay made it even better.

Although it comes with a basic mini bar, I think having a kettle in the room would elevate the experience & comfort.

The hotel is perfectly located in the city center. I stayed three days in Madrid and did not have to use any means of transport, as all the cultural spots (Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Museum de Prado, Retiro...) are reachable within a comfortable walking distance. The beds and the pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was very well equipped - great rain shower, hot water coming immediately, toiletries, hairdrier, and finally, great light so that to do the makeup or hairdo without any inconvenience. The day when we arrived we discovered that the window does not close properly. Next morning I mentioned it to housekeeping lady, and the maintenance guy fixed the problem in 30 minutes, while we were at breakfast. We could also regulate the heating in the room, and the temperature was very comfortable all the days, despite the cold February nights outside. The reception girls were always open for help, very friendly and talked in English, which happens not that often in Spain:)

I believe that breakfast could be better. There was a choice of eggs / bacons, different pastries, but I would not call it as "very good breakfast". The vegetables and fruit were of most basic quality possible, as well as coffee. Talking about value for money, next time I return to Madrid, I would book a room without any breakfast and have a cup of good coffee, fresh croissant or Italian pastry just near the corner.

The location of the hotel is perfect - it is absolutely in the center - a few minutes walk to the Puerta del Sol with a lot of Metro connections as well as many other streets and restaurants as well as quite near to the metro station Opera. The hotel is small and nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and our room was not ready, but we could leave our luggage as well as we would leave it on the last day after check-out. The rooms are practical and bright with a little balcony. The breakfast was very good with a big variety - we very much enjoyed it!

The location is right in the center. close to shops, restaurants, and main attractions. The breakfast buffet was very abundant and they had excellent coffee. The rooms are a little small, but spotless and quiet. The front desk was very friendly and professional.

Because of the hotel's location, on a pedestrian street, the taxi was unable to drop us in front of the hotel. So we were a little confused when he dropped us off, but we quickly found our way to the hotel. The card key didn't work properly at the entrance, but there was always someone at the front desk to let you in.

Great Location, near to Sol Metro and souvenir shops and San Gines Chocolateria and restaurants like Botin, friendly staff, breakfast is above average, great street view of calle arenal from our bedroom balcony. Special Thanks to Carlos who took care of our requests to get a Picnic Bag on the morning of our check-out as we left the hotel at 7am. Thanks to Nadia and Nerisa as well. The heating system because it's winter is not sufficient for group of 3. It was already set for 30 degrees Celsius and set on High Temp but still cold past midnight. Breakfast could be more satisfaction if there is at least Bacon instead of pieces of sausages with the eggs/hash brown & pork & beans. The safety deposit box inside the wardrobe cabinet is excellent because of it's new technology like the all the doors used by a card except the deposit box can be moved by anyone as it was not fixed and our passports and personal belongings could have been easily taken together with the safety box.
