Location, design, friendly staff. Rooftop pool area was a peaceful haven.

One evening the rooftop bar was shut for a private event, there was no notification for hotel guests.

I Lovd location of hotel just a 5minute walk to beach and all restaurants/bars.we stayed in an apartment and it was great a size the balcony was extremely large with lovely views. The apartment was very well equipped but didn't have a kettle but when I requested one it was supplied, the staff were extremelyhelpful and polite. The indoor pool was great to have as weather was a little cold so it was great we could swim.I also had the most amazing massage treatments which were such good value .A really lovely ApartHotel

The indoor area is under refurbishment so only the pool was in use but when its redone it will be lovely .While the apartment was very comfortable it could do with a little updating .A fresh painting and a few tweaks and I would rate it a 10.

Loved the roof top bar and the swimming pool, which had views over the city and to the sea. So welcome to have a swim and enjoy chilled drinks after a day of travelling. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the communication from the hotel prior to our stay was very good and efficient. Our bedroom was a good size, stylishly decorated with great lighting, comfortable beds and tall French windows leading to a small balcony and a smart bathroom. The hotel is in an excellent central location with lots of superb restaurants with al fresco dining nearby.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It ticked all of our boxes. Every member of staff we met was amazing even right down to the ladies who cleaned our room. The restaurant is an absolute must try. The level of service and the food was absolutely amazing we felt like we were in a Michelin star restaurant. The tasting menu was such good value for money as was the sandwiches and burgers. We couldn’t believe how good it was and we will definitely go back. We stayed here for 10 days and the location to get into town and see all the sights was perfect and we on had a 10 minute walk to the port and 15 minutes to the beach. Perfect perfect perfect.

There was nothing not to like about it.

This property is fantastic in every way. Excellent staff who were very friendly and informative. The bar staff were very knowledgeable when making drinks and pairing food. The location is right next to the cathedral and a great base for exploring the city. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room a decent size and very comfortable.

The lifts are small so on occasion you had to wait a while to get one. This seemed busier in the weekend.

This hotel is in the best location. It’s perfectly clean, has large rooms, kind staff, lovely breakfast and bar area, great roof top bar with small pool and so much more. We had room 320, a small family room that sleeps 3 and has a small balcony. I think the layout means some rooms don’t all have views so do check. A wonderful stay

The location is amazing but this means noise. Dinner and drinks in the restaurants below go on til about midnight and the street cleaning, bins and recycling emptying seems to go on from 2am ish til 5am ish. Take some earplugs and you will be fine

Lovely clean and modern hotel in a fantastic location with lovely staff and a nice rooftop area as an added bonus

We booked this hotel because it included a free airport transfer, however this experience provided by booking.con was awful. We arrived and there was no driver to pick us up. We called the company many times for assistance and they blamed traffic but it was very clear that there was no driver available for the pic up. 1 hour 20 mins after we were supposed to be met we gave up and got the metro. The driver Berber arrived and the company never callled us to update or book etc etc so it’s very lucky we didn’t wait! Terrible service from the 3rd party transfer company - no reflection on the hotel.

The food was good but there is a problem with the staff in the restaurant both at breakfast and in the evening at Matiz the bar. Staff were arguing and cold and indifferent to guests. They are not happy in their jobs something is wrong and customers are aware of poor cold service. One man who seemed in charge was being horrible to his staff in front of guests. We come on holiday to escape stress.

As above Staff at breakfast were rude and obviously did not like their job. Tables were not cleared for ages. In the evening in the bar Matiz one of the leading men was very stressed and reprimanded his staff in front of guests making for a horrible atmosphere. We avoided eating there.”

Hotel location is perfect. Breakfast was good, with many choices. The room was clean, bedding very comfortable. The bed was a little bit soft for our liking, but we survived for 9 nights. We love the 8th floor with the swimming pool and sunbath area.

We liked everything, nothing really to complain about. Few observations: the glasses for the juice and tea cups - we came across few of them not being properly washed. It is probably the washing machine. Something to observe. Also, guests were using the utensil for the salmon and then for other items, so the smell of fish was on salami and cheese. Not sure how to fix that, but something to keep in mind, because some people don’t like fish or are allergic to it.

The location was perfect. We were staying there to view the processions during Holy Week and we could see most of them from our room, the lobby or just steps outside. Thoughtful amenities like a razor, toothbrush and more were appreciated. The staff at the restaurant at dinnertime was very gracious. We arrived at closing time and the chef happily kept the kitchen open and even described our food to us. The hotel is perfectly located close to the Cathedral, park and beaches. I also appreciated the concierge service including a schedule of processions as they passed the hotel.

Although the breakfast buffet had a nice variety, hot items did not have warmers so they were not hot. The morning staff seemed put off by my requesting items from the menu that was on the table when I chose not to enjoy the buffet. They were a bit stand offish during my entire stay. Those choosing the buffet had to use an automated machine to make their own coffee which also was not hot.
