Breakfast throughout the stay was always the same, but you can always choose from the menu, hot meals were often lukewarm. Plenty of fruit. Unfortunately there was a lack of vegetables. Excellent yogurts, selection of milks, cheeses. But the location of the hotel made up for it all. There is a great room with sea view and bathroom equipped with bidet, excellent towels and spacious shower. Always clean, every day with bottles of water.

The front desk staff often looked at paperwork and didn't pay attention to greetings or the cleanliness of the front and lobby after the weekend. I was happy to pick up the dirt. The weakest point was the restaurant, its menu and food quality, the service for a 4* hotel and the lack of English language skills of one of the waitresses who served us. The untidy restaurant area, the old bread and the incorrectly issued bill. The European expects better service and this is what the hotel management should focus on.

A bright and modern hotel, the room was spacious. The mattress was super comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection of types of food and as much coffee ( from a machine). A great location with many restaurants nearby and beach next to it. 30 mins walk to a gym called MOve and Go which had a gym with most machines and indoor only 25 m pool.12 euros for the day, a friendly taxi driver told us about this. Great Pizzeria Vittorio about 15 mins walk away in residential area, friendly staff and good value. Bus stop very close takes you to,shopping area.

A better variety of fresh fruit at breakfast, being picky! Long waits for a cup of tea at the terrace in the evenings- staff very good but not enough of them.

Pretty and tastefully updated hotel with a large room. The closet area separated from the bedroom was very convenient. Bottled water replaced daily was a nice touch. Great public transportation nearby. Cafeteria on site has great coffee and service.

The exhaust filled busy road between the hotel and the beach. The coffee from the machine at breakfast was just plain sad! A kettle and coffee maker in the room is a must-the hotel is nice but the lack of this modest amenity left a negative impression (just felt sparse).

The rooms are very smart, contemporary, light, spacious, and have a high quality finish. The hotel overlooks the beach and the sea and is in a great location.

We were surprised that a hotel of this calibre had no facilities in the room to make a hot drink. A minbar is mentioned in the list of facilities. There was a fridge but it only contained two bottles of water. There are no glasses, only a couple of plastic cups in the bathroom. We asked for an iron and board, but we were told that they were not provided. There is an ironing service available for an additional charge.

Great location in the beautiful city of Santander. The rooms were incredibly big, with balcony overlooking the ocean. The room had plenty of closet space. The bathroom shower amazing!

As much as we loved our room, We sure didn’t love the buffet at this hotel. The staff refuse to make omelets or any make to order eggs. The coffee was a coffee machine which you press a button like when you buy coffee at a public place. Definitely the buffet needs improvement. Also the pillows are hard and too big.

Secure parking with easy access at prices in line with industry norm. We chose a room with a terrace overlooking the sea and used room service for breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Location excellent for beach & casino. 15 minute drive to ferry terminal.

40 minutes walk to main attractions but there are buses in close proximity & taxis only cost €6 ew. Shower tray flooded easily onto floor. Most expensive of all hotels we stayed at during our month long vacation and a pool would have been nice.

First I really liked the easy to use underground parking facility accessed via a lift. The reception staff were welcoming and the porter took our cases to our room. The room was larger than expected, with sufficient storage space for our clothes. The bed was large and comfortable. Good WiFi. Quiet. The breakfast has a good range of hot and cold foods. Meals in the cafeteria are also good. Hotel is situated by the beach. Plus there are bars and restaurants nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Would have liked a kettle in the room to make an early morning drink.

Loved the view from the terrace of the sea and the restaurant nearby. Location was brilliant, easy to find and away from the ferry (5-8 mins drive one way round). Downtown location on foot easily. Parking is hard on street but pay and display around. Plenty to eat out, shop, etc. The underground car park in hotel is very spacious - you drive the car into the lift and out of the lift. Plenty of spaces. (We stayed at another and a number of scratches, etc to the cars as it was very very tight. This one was great.)

We stayed 2 nights. The underground hotel car park should be included with the booking overall (€17 per night). Especially since we paid extra for a room with a terrace and sea view. First night was fabulous. The next day and night was raining. The terrace was too wet to go out then but that's nature. Bar served sandwiches, wraps, hamburgers until 8pm. The kitchen opened at 8.30pm for hot dinners. The other main restaurant in hotel, closes afternoon time. Across the road, the restaurant stopped serving dinner menu from 7.30pm. So we were in limbo trying to remember which opens and which closes (whilst it rained) - frustrating but not a big deal.

Centrally located overlooking the beautiful El Sardineiro beach this is an imposing building. There is no street parking available so it is necessary to use their car park which is underground and is reached by a car lift-quite unique but expensive at 17 euros per day. Our room was as requested with a sea view and a large and well appointed shower room. We ate in the cafeteria rather than the restaurant where the food was good. We were offered a 3 course meal with wine and coffee for 22 euros each.

While we enjoyed the hotel and couldn't find fault, its prices are very expensive and we regarded our stay as an expensive "treat". In other words not something to do on regular basis.

The location is most definitely the best aspect of this hotel. Other pluses are the rooms are spacious and clean and the views from our room was spectacular (room with sea views). The bed was comfortable and a spacious bathroom was also great.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the overall feel is a little impersonal - I suppose it is a huge hotel after all, so it would be difficult to be otherwise. Pillows were pretty terrible.
