A friendly welcome. A very helpful receptionist. Clean, comfortable beds, excellent location. Restaurants are on the spot, lovely ice cream place nearby, as are the beaches and the gardens and bus stops to the city. Open top bus tour highly recommended.

A little cramped. The alarm light for fire set in the ceiling flashes too brightly, which disturbs someone trying to get off to sleep. Glass door to the bathroom not set correctly - there's a gap- but for a short stay it's manageable. Would stay longer if these things were corrected.

I was a bit unsure of the hotel before booking due to the rating, but this is an amazing hotel if you accept it for what it is. The room is spacious enough for 2 people and we had a balcony with sea view. Its pet friendly and located right next to the beach in the best area of Santander and had plenty of restaurants in the area.

it did not have a mini fridge or coffee maker, but you can get everything right outside the door so not a big issue

This was a very comfortable room, although small. The location is excellent being close to the beach and restaurants. I loved having the little balcony for fresh air and feeling connected to the location.

There was no facility to make tea or coffee. It was noisy from the restaurant below in the evening but not when the balcony door was closed. I could open it later for fresh air as needed.

The location is fabulous, on the seafront, cafes and restaurants outside the front door, super if you have a dog with you. Beds really comfy.

Only minor point for us was that our room on top floor had appalling lighting, so bright, and no bedside lamp. The only other negative was that it had a central fan that we could not work out how to turn off other than removing key card from supply and turning all supply off. (probably me being stupid) Could be hot in summer. All minor points, other rooms probably perfect and would definitely go back.

Located within 2 blocks from the biggest city beach of Santander -- it was lovely to wake up, walk/run along the water and end with a swim in the Cantabrian Sea. Free street parking was available in the area as well. The room itself was sufficient, and had everything I needed. Wi-fi was strong enough to support working remote.

The beds are not very comfortable. Also, the room didn't have air conditioning which meant I had to rely on open windows for ventilation. This is typically fine, but the hotel is situated right above two restaurants which is noisy. Further, the windows/doors do not have screens so I did have an issue with mosquitoes coming in for a visit. Parking is free in the area but be warned that it may take you a long time to find a spot -- it's the downside to being so close to the beach. ALSO if you are wanting to visit restaurants in the core of Santander, keep in mind that it's a ~30min walk with hills.

The handle on the front door a little dangerous so be careful. Just push the door open. Bed wasn't the comfiest but they were fresh sheets. No tea or coffee facilities and nothing in the vending machine. Rooms are dated n need an upgrade

Travelling with our dog we always stay here a day or two before the ferry. Very comfortable - good restaurant and breakfast cafe next door. On busy street leading to El Sardinero beach - double glazed windows - however street goes very quiet overnight. Easy to walk to other beaches and to Las Llamss park - as seen on Monty Don’s Gardens of Spain.

The location is very near the beach

We did get parking in the road which was free but we were lucky as it was lunch time and busy. It looked fairly empty at other times. They chargers a lot of money for our two small dogs so won’t return but if you don’t have dogs it’s clean and in a good position.

Ideally located within one minute walk from the bus stop and beach. There’s a supermarket round the corner. Ample enough restaurants to sample at various budgets.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property however if I was visiting again, I would’ve liked the opportunity for a small kitchenette.

Perfect for a short stay! Local restaurants at doorstep. This was also where breakfast was served (we didn't opt in for one). Beautiful beach nearby (5 min walk). The room (104) did not have the kettle (was not advertised to have one though). Bathroom had a hairdryer (bonus). We also asked for the iron and were given one. With regards to the bathroom - if you travel with close mate or partner - then it is fine. Otherwise, you may have found the bathroom/toilet a little awkward as it is only separated by a not-see-through glass, nevertheless - it's a glass, not a wall :) We didn't mind. Reception staff friendly and helpful. WiFi worked well. Would definitely stay there again.
