Private garage parking is right next to hotel, and the hotel gives you discount The breakfast options were good. The hotel was nicely designed. Superior Double Rooms we booked were quite big and matched our expectations.

Location was not that great, central but you had to climb up 15 mins from Cathedral to hotel.

The room was comfortable, but only because I opted for an upgraded standard. Therefore, I got a spacious room with a large bathroom. I noticed that some rooms were quite small, dark, with windows facing an unlit courtyard. So it's worth carefully considering the options because the price differences are not always significant. The breakfast was tasty and varied, and everyone will find something for themselves.

The only downside is the reception service: it's quite varied. I checked in and out with a very pleasant young employee, but once I encountered a not very polite older gentleman who also had a limited command of English.

The Hotel Sercotel Alfonso VI is extremely well-located in Toledo. It is walkable from the train station, especially if one gets good directions to the electric escalator under the town parking garage. The hotel sits at the top of a hill, close to the Alcazar, from which there is easy access to Toledo's diverse points of interest. The rooms are clean and generally well-maintained, and the staff is helpful.

AC was not working properly on the first evening of our stay. Staff took care of it the next day

The location was excellent, right in the centre, close to all the attractions and with beautiful views of the Alcázar. The interior decor was excellent and the kids loved the suits of armour and statues. Check in and check out were very smooth. Staff were polite and very helpful. The family room was a great size, well equipped and very clean.

A powerpoint near the bed would have been great, as would some caffeinated coffee in the room, but these are only minor suggestions. One bed also needed tightening as the frame was very squeaky every time my little boy rolled over.

The location of hte gotel is pefect, right next to Alcázar of Toledo and no more than 20 minutes walk from most city attractions. The hotel looks really nice with mediavel time aspects (visit the 2nd floor even if the restuarant is closed, the hall is cool). The room is spacious, nothing special inside, but comfortable. There are some parking solutions nearby and the hotel offers discounts.

We had a good welcome at Reception when we arrived and the room itself had a lovely view of the Cathedral (as promised at booking). Breakfast was very fresh with plenty of options, all very tasty! I really liked the quirky nature of the hotel and the historic feel of it all. Parking in the garage next to the hotel was ideal - not cheap, but the discount for hotel guests was good. The location is excellent, with easy walking access to what we wanted to see. Photos attached of the views from our room.

Fantastic, unbeatable location. Clean, modern facilities. great bathroom. Good breakfast value at 11 euros (must make a reservation the night prior).

There is a lack of electric plugs in the room to charge phones. Probably because our room faced another building across a very narrow street, there was lots of echo. Early morning noise emanating from flushing toilets and miscellaneous sources emanating from within the hotel.

Hotel receptionist was extremely helpful and knowledgeable regarding local area and buildings. Car parking was just a short walk away and a hotel discount was very welcome. breakfast was very plentiful and a variety of fruit hams cheeses along with eggs and bacon made it quite attractive.

Nothing that the hotel could do but more advance notice of the closure of the castle would have been helpful. TV in the room could have benefitted from an English speaking channel. Hotel was limited to room service only for evening meals, a restaurant would have given much more to offer guests.

The location of this hotel is excellent as it’s within walking distance of everything for sightseeing. Our room was well appointed and spacious with a very comfortable bed. It also had plenty of drawers and wardrobe space for clothes storage. Breakfasts were varied and delicious.

We didn’t find the reception staff particularly helpful or friendly.
