I can't find any reason to complain. I arrived early on a weekday and they were able to find me a room. The front desk staff were all excellent- I didn't encounter any who weren't friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was a burned out lightbulb at the desk. and it speaks to the quality of the staff. I called the front desk and she told me she'd let her colleague know but it might be a few minutes because it was in the evning and she was alone at the desk. The colleague knocked on my door about 5 minutes later, checked, and was back with a new bulb in about 10 minutes. Very quick. I had no problem with the shower or bathroom as they were spotless and worked great (some complained that the shower is dangerous and has a step up- it is not dangerous and it is a small step- quite a sensible design and laughable that one would complain about it). Someone else complained in a review that the business center should be open later for Americans. That's just embarassing. The internet works so well that you can do anything you need from your room if it involves using the internet. Lastly, the housekeeping staff were some of the best I've encountered. Great attention to detail.

The only negative is the inability to plug my device into the TV using an HDMI cable. That is becoming pretty common and I was surprised this wasn't possible.

I had a wonderful business trip in Hilton Stockholm Slussen Hotel. The breakfast was amazing - fresh waffles, omelettes of your choice, prosecco, a gluten free section - you can't ask for more for a breakfast. The view towards the water was another privilege one could enjoy during breakfast, just a perfect start into the day.

There was nearly nothing to complain about, except the room cleaning service could have worked a little bit earlier - two days they just arrived at the beginning of the afternoon which is not the best timing if you want to take a short nap.

location was absolutely perfect. The staff were more than accommodating and friendly. They were professional, courteous and genuine. A rare and wonderful blend. Big thanks to the gentleman who made the omelettes. What a lovely chap and polyglot. Please convey my best wishes for his retirement. Steffan, I also single out for going above and beyond - thank you. Marissa at breakfast this morning was so attentive. Anymore so than others and other mornings? Yes and no. A great conversationalist and very good at her job. would stay again in a heartbeat xx

The comfort

Having to pay 500kr on check-in though yes it's refundable but does not make sense.. Makes us the customers feel like we are not trusted to stay,a sense of "if u steal something then u won't get your money back". But just my opinion. Or rather point that out when a customer makes an online booking. Because I booked online and I can not remember having seen that anywhere. And I would suggest maybe more card options not only master card.

close to bus and tram stations and within walking distance of old town

construction in process and was noisy at times. air conditioner didn’t cool well. wanted to open windows, but then you had the construction noise.

Location is good for access to the underground network and walking access to the Old Town ( (Gamla Stan). Breakfasts had a good choice of options and quick and efficient table cleaning/setting. Lake view rooms have a great view, but lower floors (up to 4th floor) may suffer from some road or railway noise.

Lack of draws/shelf storage in the room. Top curtain hook had been broken, so the top of the drooping curtain caught in the window if opened. A couple of pea sized pieces of black mould on some of the bath grouting.

location was the best part. Staffs were helpful.

May be it is my own preference as my sleep is sensitive. However, the queen bed mattress was shaking. if two person are sleeping next to each other, a little turn from one will shake the bed. I never had such experience in any hotel, I had stayed in. I was surprised, when I heard from staffs, that no one has ever complained about this. One can see how the mattress shakes by simply softly pushing the lower part of mattress by hand. That being said, staffs were really helpful, they managed to provide us a twin bed room even during the new year eve time. So, the experience went quite well overall.

The room was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would like to make a special mention of Gigi (I hope I got the spellings correct) who was exceptional.

The only not-so-positive thing was the size of pillows which were huge. Being used to small and thin pillows, this was a problem. The staff did try to help by sending smaller pillows, but it still didn't work. Maybe that is something that the hotel would like to look into.

The rooms were clean. The breakfast was awesome. The stuff was lovely. The location is really nice with a walking distance to old town, and metro stations.

Although the location is very nice, currently there is a lot of construction in city center and bridges connecting old town to södermalm, so your view might also include construction and some noise during day. But, that's not hotel's problem and if you are in the city during the day, this won't be a problem.

The staff were really welcoming and friendly. As someone who finds it hard to sleep when there is a speck of light, it was really nice to have the blinds in the window as well as the curtains.

Be aware that some of the rooms with the sea view are over the main road and train line so there is a bit of background noise. However the sound proofing is exceptional (we tested it by opening the window to compare) so it isn't noticeably loud and the sea view is worth it!
