Small rooms but not smaller as advertised. Everything that was advertised was there and more. Very friendly staff and awesome location. No real rocking from the water. Very unique stay living up to expectations and better. Good breakfast as well.

Toilets are a bit loud.

I have sailed/owned my own Turkish gullet and spent seven months sailing around Turkey and Gteece. So I really enjoyed staying and sleeping on this beautifully preserved yacht. The room was very spacious. Lovely desk, chair, and very comfortable bunk bed. Bathroom, had been modernised, and was very roomy. Lovely, they have kept many of the original features, such as portholes, timber and brass. So much history, and plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the yacht. Excellent breakfast, water always available on level 2, I think. Watched the sun set, two nights in a row. Plenty of seating upstairs, and picture perfect views. Central location, luggage storage available and just a memorable stay. I would highly recommend the Malardrottningen. Felt very safe aboard, everything was excellent. The only one complaint, was a kettle would have been very handy. Maybe I misread that, the rooms came with one. Anyway, sad to leave. Katie G ☺️ From Australia..🇦🇺

Nice experience living on the ship. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the historic part of the town and shopping mile. The metro station and bus station are 5 minutes away. I am not recommending using the bus because of the very unfriendly pavement for the luggage wheels while transporting from the station to the hotel. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choices in a relatively small space. Thumbs up to the staff. The room was big enough for sleeping and occasional work but just for one person. The bathroom is small and still well organized, but you must know you are on the boat and in the cabin. My cabin had a wonderful view of the bay. Have some doubts about using a ladder to the upper bed if two of not pretty young people are in the room. I was luckily alone :-) Recommend this hotel when you want to hike through the Stockholm for some days,

Unsealed window with a noticeable gap between the window and frame. The glass was broken, but not too disturbing.

The staff were friendly and helpful, very accommodating. The breakfast was good. The location is great. The option to leave your luggage was very convenient. Sleeping on a yacht in the middle of the city was fun, and the views are lovely. I was happy with my choice.

The bathroom is very small, to the point you have to sit sideways on the toilet. The cabin is very narrow, and the bunk bed is small, I even bumped my head quite badly with a wooden board at the head of my bed. There was no convenient plug to charge the phone overnight, so they had to be left on the floor in the middle of the cabin.

Totally recommended: Excellent location, right next to metro station (there's also a small supermarket there), a few blocks away from all shops and cafes/restaurants of the old city center. Very competitive price, value for money. A very nice experience living in a ship, i was surprised how stable it was. Very kind personnel, all the ladies that were taking care of the breakfast were very efficient, fast and kind. I appreciated the everyday cleaning and the check out until 12 (most hotels set it at 10am in the post covid period :/). Last but not least, how convenient the drinking water dispenser near the rooms was: cold still and sparkling water, available all the time! Great offer from the hotel!

Only one small issue i had, it was not easy to regulate the water at shower. The temperature was fluctuating constantly, had to regulate it non stop. A small tip for the guests, the room key card needs to be placed on the locker center for several seconds in order to be accepted, its not like the typical fast swipe we are used to do with credit card.

Staying on a yacht is special - the history and the uniqueness making it memorable.Although we had 3 adults in a room there was sufficient space for our luggage and the bathroom was roomy. The beds were comfortable and the towels soft.The staff were amazing - it was not a problem for them to order a birthday cake for our daughters 18th birthday. They provided a catalogue of options for us to choose from, confirmed the time and day for presentation - stored it during our stay and crockery/cutlery when we wanted a piece.The restaurant was unfortunately not open during our stay but the view from the restaurant area for a cuppa or drink is lovely.

It is not modern - but that is its charm. However - The bathrooms are updated and not a problem. Some of the portholes have air leaks but not surprising given the age of the vessel. It is good value for money for what it is.

The Yacht is docked in the Malard lake, right on the Riddarholmen island, makes it very easy to reach from the Gamla Stan metro stop. Super centrally located, a few minutes walk from the Riddarhustorget Bus stop and the Gamla Stan metro station, and very close to the bustle of the old town. Perfect location. The rooms are tiny, but very well equipped. The bunks are surprisingly comfy, and the room is very good for a short stay. If longer than a night or two, i would prefer a traditional hotel, but for a short period, the novelty factor wins hands dowm Good breakfast, very friendly staff, a very accommodating luggage room, perfect for the gap between checking out and checking into the next hotel. And the deck itself is beautiful. great view of the docks and the church on Riddarholmen. And i loved that the water dispenser provides sparkling water. Always such a joy

A confusing thing was that on the side that is visible while coming from the Metro station, the yacht is named Lady Hutton. We weren't sure we were going to the right place. While dragging heavy luggage on cobblestones, this can be concerning: would be helpful to include the name of the ship in the description. Also, that elevator either needs to be fixed, or turned off altogether. It is missing the left wall, stops very often when you move even a little, and the doors dont always open at your destination. After one experience with it, i preferred to carry my luggage up and down the steep stairs, rather than step into it another time

The best certainly is to stay on a very well and lovely furnished ship. Agreed, it is over 100 years old and the rooms (or better to say) cabins are no square meter champions, but they are nice. And they really give you the feeling to be on a real oldtimer ship. For tall people like me you have to be sure to pick the right room. I am close to 2m tall, and next time (and sure there will be a next time) I will pick a cabin with a bit more space. They all made a positive impression on me, The reception, food and beverage and also the ladies responsible for the breakfast. Great Staff ! The ladies in reception were really very kind and helpful (in my case Matilda). But also the ladies in F&B, all were great, thanks.

Amazing location, perfect If you want to walk around the city centre, as it is in the middle if everything. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice. It was the same every morning, but with the amount of choice that you have, this is not an issue. There are several great seating areas around the ship. Weather was great, so had a chance to enjoy incredible views from the deck. Would definitely stay here again if I am coming back to Stockholm.

The only minor issue - very squeaky upper bunk bed, with every move it was cracking. However, considering how old the ship is, it is understandable, and the mattress was very comfortable anyways, so I could still have a restful sleep.

Very good location in the old town, only 5 or 15 minutes walk to the most important places in the city center. Great view from the ship's restaurant, from the nearby quay. Only 3 minutes to the Metro station. The interior of the ship is unique, authentic details, very cozy inside. The cabin is small, but with a toilet inside. The beds are comfortable. There is a drinking water machine on the ship. Breakfast is plentiful and good and a wide range of times. The staff is helpful, you can leave your luggage before the flight. An unforgettable experience.

Breakfast is plentiful but the same every day. I missed herring for breakfast in Sweden. The temperature in the rooms during heating is a bit too high, opening the window is inconvenient for maintaining the temperature and ventilation.
