Absolutely amazing neighbourhood, full of museums (definitely you must visit VASSA museum), perfect transportation possibilities (especially ferries).

We had a really lovely stay, the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was great! The location was perfect for the museums and it was also really easy to get to other parts of Stockholm via the ferry. Despite being very close to the fun fair our room was really quiet and we couldn’t hear anything from outside or other rooms. Would highly recommend.

Location was fab - near excellent transport links like ferry, bus, tram so was super easy to get everywhere. Plus loads of museums on Djurgarten - we went to the ABBA museum, Vasa museum and Skansen on this island. Receptionists were all great and helped with booking restaurants- especially Zoe who was outstanding and went above and beyond. Decor in the main areas was gorgeous. Decent variety of food at breakfast. Sauna was quiet. Corner room for junior suite had great views.

I wish I’d have known the junior suite with a separate sofa bed in ‘separate room’ wasn’t actually a separate room but just separated with a curtain- think that wasn’t made clear. It’s the same room really! Room wasn’t set up for 3 people but they quickly resolved that when I told them and apologised. Would’ve liked to have food outside - especially trying the famous Hassenbach potatoes- whilst we were sat having a wine in the sun. Not sure why they don’t allow food outside when it’s nice weather. Think that’s a shame and they’re missing a trick there. We weren’t given instructions or card re the sauna initially and wasted time waiting for it to warm up. Evidently you need to tell reception to switch it on and then wait 45-60 mins. Was lovely eventually and quiet!

Beautiful setting, clean and comfortable- helpful and friendly staff. Easy access to city centre and plenty of local attractions.

The breakfast was phenomenal! Such a huge buffet with a magnificent variety and assortment of foods. There was plenty of gluten free options for my daughter with celiac's disease to choose from, so we were all happy! The location was good, but because it was in mid-April, and off-season, it felt a bit removed from everything. We still liked the location, as it was quiet and beautiful, unfortunately we didn't have the best weather, as it rained a lot while we were there, so we couldn't enjoy the outdoor parks near the hotel. Enjoyed the sauna and plunge pool!

The hotel was dated, and could really use a facelift on the inside. It felt like nothing had been ever updated since the late 1970s. However, because the original decor was of high quality, it was still nice enough.

The location is excellent, practically across the street from ABBA the Museum. It is a nice, quiet, green, and leafy neighbourhood. Well-connected by bus/tram as well as a ferry boat stop that connects to Gamla Stan. The buffet breakfast at the hotel is generous, high quality, and not to be missed. The staff was friendly and helpful. We gad a decent sized room with a queen bed, electric kettle, hairdryer, TV, etc. We didn't find the time to use the sauna. Recommend this hotel 100%

There was a slight, dirty smell in the bathroom, of the type that one gets sometimes when pipelines have a leakage somewhere. But this was really a minor inconvenience that may not be a general feature in all rooms.

Very friendly staff. The room was very spacious and had a kettle with tea. :) The breakfast was delicious. You had a various selection of food, warm and cold so as fresh fruits. The last day, we got doggy bag with our breakfast, because we had to leave early in the morning. It was so well prepared, with juice, joghurt, sandwiches, a muffin and an apple. Simply great! The staff were very friendly to our kid. The hotel is directly next to the Skansen and the Abba Museum. And you have a bus and tram station in front of the hotel.

The roomfloor was a bit dusty (I‘m allergic to dust) and we hadn‘t got the impression, that the cleaningstaff cleaned it, the days we were there. However, we didn‘t complained at the reception, so they couldn‘t improve. It was a bit warm in the rooms, maybe the temperature could be set a bit down. (That was not possbile from our room).

Perfect location on Djurgården to visit museums and Gröna Lund. Tram outside to get into central Stockholm if needed. Beautiful historic building. The rooms we had were nicely decorated and very comfortable. We appreciated the Bellman related art work and poems around the hotel. There is a small fitness centre and sauna for the guests. We also had a room with a private sauna which was lovely! The breakfast buffet was plentiful and had lots of choices. All staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful.

We liked everything about the hotel.
