Wonderful location, lots of natural light in the room, access to many WC/showers in the corridor
Reception closed early and I could not get a hot drink (coffee/tea). It was very cold in Stockholm at the time, I would have appreciated a kettle with complimentary warm drinks or with automatic machine.

The location was amazing! Just in the middle of the old cozy town. Close to the Nobel Prize Museum. You can walk around all the tiny cozy streets of this old neighboorhood, full of shops, bars and resturants. From this point you can easilty reach by foot all main tourist attractions from Stockholm. Private room very good. Shared bathrooms also very well equiped, nice and clean.
A pity there is no option of breakfast at the hotel. However, they give you options where you can have breakfast nearby. There is a very nice bakery just crossing the main street.

A very nice hotel/hostel. We opted for a double room with a shared bathroom. The room itself was quite spacious, and relatively comfortable. There were 4 shared bathrooms on my floor, each with a shower and a toilet and sink, and were lockable. We always found the bathrooms clean and never had to stay waiting in a queue. The location is great in Gamla Stan! Overall it's a very bang for your buck accommodation and great for a cheap short stay in Stockholm!
The entrance to the hotel is a bit dingy, and I not that well labelled (you've got to press a bell outside to be let in, then go to a lift and go on the first floor to check in).

Nov 1-5, private room (shared bathroom) GREAT & Perfect Location 10/10: 5-9 minute walk to major sites: Stortorget,Stockholm Cathedral, Royal Palace, Museum of Medieval. Riddarholm Church and Stockholm National Museum are both just 15 minute walk (but in opposite direction). Nearest subway is Gamla Stan that is just 10 min walk. Facilities 10/10: Big cozy, quiet, comfortable and stylish room. 7 rooms on the floor with 4 Showers with toilets and sink, plus 1 extra toilet and 2 extra sinks outside the shower areas. Basically you don’t have to wait versus other hostels with fewer showers.. they have elevator lift, lots of clothe hanger, plus they have shoe horn, tv, relaxing lighting, socket beside bed, they also have hair dryer in the room. There is a bar on the same street and a lot of nearby restaurants and bars. Comfort 10/10: bed is super comfortable with blanket / comforter. WiFi 10/10: super strong wifi signal Host 10/10: responsive in booking . Com chat. Hostel staff receptionists are very warm and kind. Cleanliness 10/10: room, bathroom, WC, are all clean. Value for money 10/10: affordable and worth it with its location and beautiful comfortable room
This is only for those who travel with big luggages like me: Just a tip. The hostel is in historical old town, thus the pavement / streets are all covered in cobblestones, if you have heavy luggages, it is best to travel coming from central station to Slussen metro station (next station after Gamla Stan) then ride a bus outside the station, going to Slottsbacken bus station (just 1 station away). This is to avoid dragging your heavy luggage on cobblestones for 10 minutes. Purchase a 3-day or 7-day card for unlimited all transportation. The Hostel itself I would rate 10/10 perfect in every way especially the great fantastic location and the beautiful room.

Amazing location in the old city close to restaurants, the palace and a short walk across a bridge into the shopping district of town .The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The communal bathrooms were always clean The red hop on hop off bus is at the end of the block
We asked for a quiet room, but from midnight til 3 am lots of drunks stood in the street smoking and calling out bye to each other and it echoed up between the buildings- very inconsiderate people! But we couldnt hear any noises from hotel guests at all. At times the bathrooms had a “ sewerage” type of smell - maybe due to the fact the hotel is in the old city ? But as i said, the bathrooms are modern and cleaned regularly. I travel a lot and I would love to stay here again

Location fantastic -you can easily walk around the Old Town from here. The countless museums are all fairly close - the Abba museum and the Vasa museum are around 45mins walk as is the big amusement park. The rooms were comfortable and perfectly fine for a few days. Very reasonably priced too for what is an expensive city.
It's a shared bathroom system which works fine and there are plenty of them however there is no shampoo / shower gel dispensers in the bathrooms. So if you forget these then you'll have to buy some, which in Stockholm is expensive. There should be at least a shower gel. Reception is only manned until 9pm ish - if you lose your card to get in the hotel then it's tough - you're locked out with no way to get back into the hotel or your room until the next morning. It's a bit over the top. We didn't fall foul of it but it would be an absolute disaster if we had.

The beds were comfy with a privacy curtain, there were enough toilets and showers for the whole corridor, the WiFi was very good, and the location was amazing right in old town by the water :D
The privacy curtain looks good at first, but you can see right through it when your light is on. It would also have been nice to have a little bedside shelf to put things. Below the bed, it was very dirty with dusty broken floorboards. Paying 30Kr for filter coffee at reception also feels a little tight. There is also no common area - I wasn't here to meet people especially, but somewhere to just sit and read or go on your laptop is lacking.

It's impossible to get a better deal in the Old Town of one of Europe's most expensive cities. If you're on a budget and you want to stay on the island of Gamla Stan, this is where you should stay. The shared bathrooms were very clean and called them "shared" is a bit of stretch. All the toilet/shower combos have locking doors in them. It was far more comfortable than a university dormitory.
I'd really be hard-pressed to find a negative other than to say that I would really have liked to have breakfast available on site. The Inn recommends the cafe on the beach, but it's mighty pricey.

Bathrooms were not kept very clean. it would have been better to have a separator between the shower and the rest of the room. Sometimes floor was wet all over. I saw pieces of toilet paper on the floor that were there for 2 days.
There was a message on a card in our room that I found insulting. It said no food or drink in the room, which is ridiculous. Also a message about drinking too much by "boys and girls". I don't drink and I know how to eat my food and clean up. I think this may just be poorly worded but the staff person at the desk responded in a "I don't care" sort of way. He said even adults make a mess.
