The location is suberp, that is why I always go back to this hotel. It is an oasis in the city. The hotel itself is also very beautiful, cosy. Quality of food, both breakfast and dinner , is good.

Breakfast is a little chaotic, I think the organization of the buffet is not optimal. The buffet tables are too close to each other, so that people have only a narrow passing and bump into each other. The 2 girls in the weekend at the breakfast were a bit clumpsy, they seemed not experienced and lacked the overview of the situation, cleaning, coffee, ... The facilities in the room were a bit disappointing; one would expect water, a coffee machine and and iron ( which was given on demand, so OK) in a hotel of this standard, price.

1) Location: calm environment on a less crowded island with easy access to main attraction sights (by foot, bus or boat).- 2) The nice terrace and garden of the hotel - 3) Staff very nice and helpful (front desk and at breakfast/dinner) - 4) The breakfast may not vary much everyday but it's good and the choice sufficient. Note: contrary to some comments, there is no problem with the doors of the shower, once you know the way to close them together! :)

1) To be woken during the night (3 am-4am) by the noise coming from the underground works (drilling) of the future metro! - 2) At this room's price, I believe most of clients expect a coffee machine or at least a kettle in the room (generally provided in most hotels and cheaper ones too).- 3) On Booking the info is that standard rooms have either a "garden view" or "a sea view and garden view), no street view was ever mentioned but our room has got a street view. As it is on the ground floor people walking on the street could look into the bathroom and the room.

Beautiful hotel on a quiet 'Island' in the middle of Stockholm. The perfect place to relax and to explore Stockholm from. The staff made all our restaurant reservations with a smile and great personal suggestions. It worked out perfectly and made our weekend.

The hotel is renovated and decorated with respect to its monumental origin and scandinavian style. Having said that, in my opinion a sophisticated use of some colour would bring more warmth and class to the room. I would also opt for less design and more usability in choosing a bathroom sink. Especially, because the bathroom was overall clean, but not spotless.

The room was spacious and comfortable with lots of light and a beautiful view facing the water. We were there on several beautiful fall days, and I imagine it would be beautiful in every season. There is a tennis court. There are bicycles available and pretty places to ride. The dining room was warm and inviting and the food, especially breakfasts, very good. The modern art museum is right next door, and it is a wonderful museum. It felt like we were in the country, though could walk over a bridge and be in the city in 5 to 10 minutes.

I am a late sleeper so i would appreciate if breakfast went a bit later than 10am. The hallways could be lighter.

Clean and spacious room and bathroom. You can find everything you need in a room. Bright windows and solid blinds for your comfort sleep. Bathrobe and slippers provided. Hotel has elevator and room doors with automatic opening. At my room no neighbour noises were detected so I believe soundproof is good. Nice location in quiet area and 3 mins walk from the modern art museum and about 20-30 minutes walk to other sightseeing. Perfect view at the theme park at night. Good access by car as well. Polite and helpful staff. Good wifi.

Wish a breakfast menu has a better choice and kitchen area more spacious. But anyway it was ok and you can definitely find something to eat to start your day. Food quality was out of question. Be ready to walk by foot due to no public transport around. Can't mention anything else.

Location, easy to get to the city center and old town Breakfast, but they didn’t have any kind of porridge

It is good to have a kettle in the room, it will make cozy staying in the hotel room especially if it is cold outside. Restaurant in the hotel is not the option for every evening. I didn’t find the food tasty plus it is expensive. Design of the sink is cool, but think about practice:) It is hard to use it and not to make wet everywhere. Having a couple of hangers in bathroom would be useful

The location is excellent, quiet and the ferry and bus bring you everywhere; Breakfast was excellent and the possibility to have breakfast on the terrace/in the garden was wonderful.

The lunch/dinner menu is limited to a couple of courses which is a pity for those who are staying for a longer period.

Our room was huge!! Much bigger and more modern than we expected, and very clean & comfortable. Loved the heated bathroom floor and the old-fashioned windows. King-sized bed, a little too firm for my husband's taste. Meals were very good to excellent (breakfast, lunch & dinner are all served in the hotel restaurant, though only breakfast is included with the room.) The staff were almost universally friendly and helpful, especially those at the front desk & in housekeeping. The location is outstanding - probably nothing better in Stockholm! Some beautiful grounds, and not just one but two small islands for walks.

The restaurant lunch & dinner menu were the same, and were changed probably weekly. I would have preferred more differentiation between the two meals, especially having more "light meal" options. Extremely limited parking onsite - could be an issue for those with their own cars.

we were surprised about the bad dining experience. The service was friendly, but incredible slow. We had to ask to order, for bread, we waited a long time before anybody came to our table, and the only reason the waiter came was because we asked him to. The food wasn't great - we had char and secreto iberico - especially the meat wasn't fantastic and it came to the table quite cold, and it was far to expensive for what it was. Really surprising for this kind of hotel!

Beautiful and quiet location while remaining close to the city centre. Ideal for tourists interested in visiting museums and galleries, as many are close by. The hotel provides a super breakfast in a cosy and relaxed setting and an excellent dinner. Scandinavian high quality but laid back. Minimalist, charming, cosy, romantic and exclusive.

Nothing to criticise as the staff were super professional and friendly.
