Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Kettle and complimentary coffee in the room. Comfy bed. Quiet despite being next to a main road.

The hotel felt like a very good 3 star, not a 4 star (I expected more for a 4-star). The room price was above that of comparable 3-star hotels. Two single beds with huge gap between them, not so good for a married couple. Small flat pillows. Bathroom was small, the toilet very close to the bath, with the toilet paper on the other side - you could stretch and take it. It wasn't terrible by any standard, it is just for the price and a 4-star, I expected a little more.

Nice big room, bathroom with the bath and free products (good quality), good location near the main train station and airport bus. Got free public transport card from the hotel + discounts in museums, tea and coffee making option, welcome water bottles in the fridge, very good Wifi connection

Room was very warm, had to sleep the window open (traffic noise), TV remote batteries were empty but although we asked, they were never replaced; last night of the stay the room service left our door open for the whole day, single bed (family room with 1 double+ 1 single bed) was not comfortable enough for an adult (my friend later had some back problems)

We made a last minute booking to ensure we would not miss our connection to a DB train to Berlin the next morning The hotel is just around the corner from the main Basel SBB station. It is small but our room was a good size with a comfotable bed and nice view to the park across the street. The bathroom had a large combination tub/shower and large towels. The TV was large with a good selection of channels. We enjoyed a nice walk from the hotel to through the old town to the Rhine and enjoyed an obscenely expensive drink on the terrace of a grand hotel overlooking the Rhine, grateful to have been able to enjoy that experience without having to pay over CHF 500 for a room.

Upon arrival at the hotel I discovered that I accidently booked a nonrefundable room for September 25 (2 months after our stay), instead of the night of our arrival. I made a new booking while standing in the lobby for less money. The desk clerk promised to talk to the manager to see if we can get a credit to apply to a room on another night TBD in the future. Unfortunately i haven't heard back on this request.

The staff are wonderful, polite and kind

The hotel was very conveniently located close to the train station and tram hub. The room was clean and spacious and included bottled water, a coffee maker and kettle, which was appreciated. A staff member helped us with our bags when he saw us struggling. When we told Reception about a faulty hair dryer it was replaced within hours.

The entrance was upstairs which made it a little difficult to access with suitcases. Perhaps it's the Swiss way, but a number of staff seemed less friendly and too busy. The tea and coffee weren't replenished when our room was cleaned.

Right next to the main train station. The room was big and clean. Had a kettle and a coffee machine with pods/tea bags in the room. Long hours for breakfast. Staff really friendly and replies really quick on this app, I booked the hotel 30 minutes before checking in, late at night due to flight cancellation and the staff messaged to confirm within 10 minutes of the booking.

The room is dark, not much natural light. Had a big lamp shade next to the desk, but still not great for working in the room.

Location was fantastic--just across from the train station. Breakfast was good and not expensive. Room was clean and comfortable. AND there was a bonus Metro pass which was super handy!

There wasn't much staff around but thankfully we didn't have any pressing needs so luckily didn't need attention.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfy, window could be opened, I also really appreciated the coffee machine in the room.

Our room was on the 8th floor which is where breakfast is provided. In the morning you could hear the music from the breakfast room and hear hotel guests coming through, so it was quite noisy.

Close to main part of city. Lovely spacious rooms, coffee machine in the room. Nice breakfast. Clean.

Too hot in the room, mid winter, even though radiator was off. Not sure where heat was coming from. Had to open window, then unable to sleep due to noise from outside.
