Property is clean and cosy, all products offered are of excellent quality (eg bed linen, coffee and tea, bath towels, shower products, etc).

As mentioned by travelers the location can be noisy, don’t go there to relax and rest (although my night was quiet on Tuesday), but this is well known and not a surprise so no problem for me. I would argue that rooms on the first floor are not ideal as they are on the reception floor and it’s a bit noisy with people coming or waiting there and talking… so if you have a choice avoid first floor!

Super comfortable room and bed with luxury bedding and beautiful bathroom and products. Coffee maker, complimentary fridge drinks etc. Great staff. So helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast. Intimate 6th floor bar which was perfect to relax in after a busy day. Easy walk to marktplatz. Convenient parking nearby. The general areas of the hotel are smart with interesting books and artworks. The restaurant on the ground floor is friendly and casual.

Our room had a massive balcony but it looked out onto a building that was being reformed. So the outlook was of cranes, not the beautiful roof tops that we imagined.. The street is not the best one in Basel and the hotel entrance was hard to find. Maybe the general feeling of the area is better in the summer with people eating outside and at that time the outside space of the balcony would be useful.

The included breakfast was the best I had in my accommodations during my 4 months travelling. The rooftop terrace for this was an excellent location. The property is within easy walking distance of all key areas, and a short walk from the train station. It's also on the busiest and liveliest tourist street of Basel. That's nice. I thought when I arrived noise could be a problem, but with Triple Glazed Glass, I could hardly hear noise at all. Surprisingly very quiet. I commend this property to anyone.

Central lcation, accessible to multiple tram lines, shopping area and restaurants. 10min to SBB (train station), walking plus tram. Model design of the room. USB charges at bedhead. Complementary drinks in the fridge though only bottle water is refilled.

Outlook of the building is not as nice as the photo, no open balcony, at least not as many as what in the picture. If you are sensitive to noice, it might be disturbing during night of the weekends, as people stay very late in restaurants and bars of the same street.

The central location of the hotel for Fasnacht. I was in the Cortege for my Clique and it was super close to the action. Not recommended if you expect sleep by 11pm Mon-Wed during Fasnacht but the triple glazed windows help a lot. Definitely stay here again in the future!!!

The bed could have been a little more comfortable-I used the extra duvet underneath to add some further comfort. The noise overnight from Mon and Tues but it was during Fasnacht and expected to have issues with sleeping. I'd still stay here during Fasnacht because when it's quiet, it is quiet!

Great location in the city centre, good connection to tram network. Lots of choice for food and drink around. Spacious room with great facilities. Loved the rooftop breakfast bar and high quality continental breakfast.

The perennial problem of stuffy hotel rooms in summer - building regulations prohibit installation of A/C. Somewhat mitigated by keeping blinds and curtans closed during the day and a decent ventilation system, but can be unpleasant on hot days.

Great location, great staff and free minibar. Location is close to all modes of public transport but is not bad for cars with the nearby parking lot. I don’t know how busy the parking can get but was quite free for my visit in the summer. Breakfast is quite good with locally sourced bread and dairy products but my favourite is the birchermuesli and the fruit salad.

I got the non-terrace side of the property and couldn’t enjoy as much sun

I got a very big and quiet room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very nice. About what is written about the loud area: for me, who stayed in November in the middle of the week in a room to the backyard I didn’t hear any noise at all from outside.

The bed was too soft. The breakfast was good but the coffee at the breakfast was from a machine and very bad. This I had expected higher quality according to the price of the hotel. The air/ventilation in the room was not so good.

Great staff. Design and finish of rooms exceptionally high. Free bar drinks and rooms immaculate. Brilliant shower and amazing staff. So so good when had an issue resolved.

Its in a lively area the windows do block alot out but once bars empty does get better. But you are near everything.

The staff were very friendly and to our delight we were upgraded to a junior suite. The decor and facilities were modern and well designed. There was plenty of room, good storage and the bathroom was lovely. The location is great.

The noise at night from the nightclub is hard to block, even with earplugs. this seems to happen predominantly on Friday and Saturday night. However we would not be deterred from staying again so this is not really a complaint .
