Location excellent! Breakfast was great!

Our double was a very small room & bathroom. The other double on our same reservation was large with a balcony & large bathroom. We paid the same price ????

I have to travel to Geneva 2-3 times every year for business (except during the pandemic), and this hotel has become my home away from home during my visits. The location is very convenient, just across the road to Gare Cornavin, the main train station and other public transport connections. The hotel has been renovated recently and is spotlessly clean. I was surprised to see that they had even installed new lifts. The check-in and check-out process was easy and smooth. My room was located on the top floor overlooking Gare Cornavin, but was not noisy at all. The room was nice, clean and spacious and had a balcony from which I enjoyed the view everyday with a cup of hot coffee. The room and bathroom were cleaned regularly, and I did not lack any amenities. A simple but fresh breakfast spread is provided everyday, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes around the area. The staff were kind, helpful and very professional.

I would prefer a bottle of water every day, instead of just a bottle on the first day. The bed was a bit saggy need to be replaced.

I would go back just for the towels! They smelled sooooo good. First hotel I've ever been to that didn't use non-scented laundry detergent. Fantastic! Towels were also thick and fluffy. Shower gel and liquid soap also smelled amazing. Staff were great and I had everything I needed.

Only thing that could be imprpved is the closet. The rod for hanging clothes was way too low to hang pants or dresses. Also because of where the hotel was situated - main road in front of the main train station - it was very loud when I opened the window...but what else can be expected in the middle of the city.

My room was clean and comfortable and I had no trouble getting a good night's sleep. The location was perfect for my needs - adjacent to the main railway station and a short and pleasant walk from the lakefront. Noise was not a problem at night despite the proximity of the station. There were several reasonably priced restaurants (by Geneva standards) nearby, too.

My single room was a little on the small side, but not unusually so for a downtown location; it was fine for an overnight stay, but would have been a bit cramped for a longer visit. The insulation between rooms could have been better, although it wasn't a problem for me. Breakfast was expensive for what was on offer, but then that seems to be true of most Swiss hotels.

Excellent location opposite the main railway station. My room, on the top floor was fairly small but well designed, comfortable and provided with a great balcony.

Default position for the larger of the two lifts - and the only one that fitted my lightweight mobility scooter - meant that to get down to reception I had to take the smaller lift down, then get the larger lift back up so that I could bring my scooter down. Automatic opening door at entrance is a plus but didn't open until I'd navigated the small step - then couldn't open with scooter in the way. This could be easily remedied if a small ramp was provided.

First the flooring is made of wood and not carpeted…Second the bed was just right not to soft and pillows was one soft and one just right. Third, the choice of Breakfast everyday is the same but there is a variety of bread, Danish Pastries, fruits were wonderful banana, kiwi, orange, apple..and a bowl of cut fruits for Yogurt which had three flavors…one apricot, one strawberry and one original…the stewards for breakfast are verynfriendly specially the Thai lady who always has a onderful smile. The reception who accepted me upon my arrival at midnight due to delay in Dubai was very nuce to accomodate me despite having cancelled my room to no show. He gave me a room on the breakfast floor. Overall everything including the hotel so near the train station and most shops are conveniently located. Will definetely recommend staying there..for anyone traveling alone for the first time.

Excellent location (across the road from the train station & short walk to Lake Geneva), staff very friendly and helpful, spacious bathroom, TV with channels from various countries, free wifi, good continental breakfast with some hot options (16CHF - food value considering it was a buffet), good shower pressure, hotel lift was modern and was very quick to arrive when requested, housekeeping was daily and room came with a fridge which was handy for storing swiss cheese until our departure.

The room temperature was hard to regulate - at times the room was too hot. Not a lot of information was given by the receptionist at check-in, didn't understand the need to have the kettle and coffee in the bathroom and not on the desk in the bedroom - seemed to be a bit of a health and safety hazard having so many glass cups (2 coffee glass mugs and 2 water glasses).

Room was larger than I thought with a mini-kitchen and refrigerator. Even though we were on 2nd floor, we had zero noise from pedestrian walkway below, probably because no cars drive there. It had great breakfast for a 3 Star hotel. My husband and I both had to work USA hours and we could do that easily until midnight because room had a wall separating kitchen from the built in desk. Went to adjacent restaurant for hot greek chicken sandwich off spit and was back in room for next conference call in only a few minutes. Also the COOP grocery store is very convenient to get him a quick Monster drink to stay awake. Also easy underground walkway from train station and super convenient to the airport...only one stop on train.

If I had to say something, I would say I could tell the room was clean because it had a faint odor of cleaning fluids in the hallway and room.

Hotel is atop a shopping center with access to the Cornavin Train station on the opposite size. #15 Tram line to Nations Plaza is across the street too. Very clean room. TV has selection of English language programs and a free movie station. We preferred to not have breakfast at the hotel, but enjoy the many pastry shops around. It is a convenient location for walking to the train station, waterfront, bus station, tour meeting places, and eateries. The Philip Stark Acrylic chair added a bit of posh to the room otherwise the decor was bland.

The towel warmer was turned off. The shower head was awkwardly positioned which easily got the bathroom floor all wet after a shower. Bottled amenities which required squeezing the bottle to release the liquid. Tables were small and unsteady. Small work desk.

Despite not having a 24 hour reception, the check in and access are easy out of hours. The hotel is right next to the EPFL tram stop so it is really easy to access Lausanne centre. If you're coming from Geneva by train, best to go to Renens Gare and take the tram -will save you a lot of time and hassle (and is a cheaper transfer). Make sure you get a Lausanne travel pass from Geneva Tourism (via the hotel) before you arrive.

I didn't understand why they have the shower head so low. It wasn't even higher than my face, but there was a lng enough hose and a bar designed to vary its height.
