We travelled to Grindelwald to see the Eiger and were not disappointed. The breakfast was excellent and the lady serving it was very pleasant. We just found that the dinner was rather pricy. The bedroom was lovely, modern and clean with a great view to the mountains just outside.

Beautiful and peaceful place for my family ( 2 adults and 2 kids). We stayed there for 4 days and we wish we stayed more. The location is isolated from the Grindelwald village in a peaceful area where many people come to park at the hotel to go hiking, walking or biking. 20th of April we found snow within walking distance. The hotel provides free bus tickets where you can go multiple times to Grindelwald. Or you can walk for 25min. The family that runs the place is very accommodating and friendly. I recommend renting a car and exploring Grindelwald, Interlaken and the nearby areas while staying in this awesome accommodation. Definitely coming back.

The host was very helpful and waiting for us till 11pm to handover the Key and Bus card. He answered all my calls and gave me Instrcutions. The rooms are so comfy for 2 adults and 2 kids. The Location is what you could ask for - quiet and serene and the Eiger is a stone throw away from the Window. The park besides is a bonus for kids. I felt like staying at room all day and watch the snowclad mountains. The food is good at the restaurant downstairs. Michael is super helpful, informative and even dropped us in Grindelwald terminal. He gave us the Family bus card to travel within GW. Grindelwald first is just less than a 10 min sceneic bus ride. Dont think, Book it and you wont regret it.

Toilets could be more cleaner. No Lift to carry the luggage to 2nd floor.

Very nice hotel! Perfect location in summer for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature and in winter for the ski enthusiasts! As an Indian tourist the location meant we had to plan our travel perfectly based on the bus timing which was every hour in the morning and evening. Susan who manages the Hotel is very helpful and was a great host!!

The infrequent bus service to the location which limited our movements and needed good planning. Missing a bus meant losing an hour as taxi is very expensive by Indian standards!

The hotel is located quite far from Grindelwald (centre), so it's a reasonable solution if you travel by car. The hotel and restaurant staff is very friendly. The 3 stars of the place match the quality here. The views from the hotel room are really great. Overall quite nice stay and good value for money.

Nothing really. Location might be a problem if you somebody gets there by bus (and plan to use the public transport, only). The bus is once per hour with the last from Grindelwald something like 18:30. But that's not a hotel issue.

The hotel is situated in a charming secluded location just 8 min drive from Grindlewald nestled in the beautiful Swiss alps. Service was more than amazing, personable, accommodating, friendly and welcoming. The manager gave us a better price because of a mix up with booking all with a smile and a laugh. Breakfast was lovely and included in the price, together with a 20% discount on the First-Grindlewald cable car. 10/10 would recommend

The road to the hotel is very windy and is a bit challenging.

-That hotel is not in center of Grindelwald but it is an advantage if you want to take rest and feel yourself in a village, because you can go to center by using free ski bus 121 which depatures from in front of the hotel and you can go to Grindelwald center free and easily in 10min. by hourly schedule. -staff is really kind and have smile faces. -We tasted best Fondu in Grindelwald here. -Restaurant is very clean and traditional decorated. -Food is better and cheaper from the center restaurants.

-pillows are not comfortable -hair dryer doesn't have any top so it cause to use it more and consume more electiricity to dry my hair. - a family with 2 children stayed in our upper floor so I had to wake up with their noisy. Maybe hotel can place visitors who has childen on lower floors.

Location is a bit out of the way. But superb access to hiking trails,bird park, facing the mountains. Great history of wetterhorn (first cable car). Rooms were massive. Duvet super comfy and plush. Very nice staff.

We ate really well in grindelwald. So the Breakfast was average in comparison. Great service with a smile. Rooms are quiet, if your neighbours are. We could hear them if they were loud or TV is on.

The biggest strength of this hotel is its staff; very cooperative and friendly! We took two rooms, one of which felt to be a touch on the smaller side! The bathrooms were very clean and well equipped. A very spacious terrace was very useful too. The location was outstanding, with ample parking space. The breakfast was sufficiently good, where the staff was only too happy to help.

The lighting inside the rooms needs to improve. The breakfast could have been a shade more imaginative!
