There are no hotels except here with this price included SPA. Breakfast is very nice with various food and live scramble egg. Direct access to ski dry room from outside on the grand floor. One of the closest hotels from the bus stop which goes to all ski lifts and a rental ski shop. Very nice view of mountains from pool and restaurant.

Very good location, clean and the food (the breakfast and the restaurant what is open from 18:00) was excellent, the Staff members are selected professionals. Worth every penny. Again, the staff is a friendly group to each other a s to the guests too, working really hard and fast and I think of them and of the hotel as "standard" from now on. If I choose a place to stay in the future, I hope they will be at this level and I hope I will be able to stay there again in the future. The wellness is really really good, the hours fly as minutes there! The outside pool is amazing, weasd some awesome pictures there.

#1 The beds was a bit uncomfortable but no clue why, we just could not sleep and wake up with full of energy. #2 Some guests: Walking and sitting in the sauna without towels, bare naked in the wellness area where we wanted to just enjoy the whirlpool in peace. Others arrived home at 3:00 probably after one alcohol fueled Saturday night and woke up the half of the sleeping hotel. A third group, yelled from one desk to the next one because they wanted to talk during breakfast but not to sit close to each other. The same group let a joghurt fall on the carpet and they left it there while laughing at it and hoping noone saw them. Guys, be respectful, it is a wonderful place!

The hotel is in the perfect location in the centre of town and close to the station. The breakfast is an absolute stand out! As an Australian, Switzerland is incredibly expensive and the breakfast was a great way to save money. It has fresh fruit, pastries, Bircher muesli, bacon, eggs, waffles, pancakes AND a chef making omelettes on request. Brilliant. We had to check out early (5am) and the team prepared a brekky box to go the night before - so lovely! Fresh towels were provided daily. Very nice team. The pool was awesome, especially because it was pretty hot when we were staying!

The room we got was very basic for what we paid, however this is all we could afford because Switzerland is expensive in general. We were in the ‘budget’ room, which over looked the pub downstairs, so if you left the windows open it was loud and smoke would often come in. It would be good to have a fan or air con in the room. Our mini-fridge didn’t work for the first few days, however the team replaced it after a few days which was good.

Amazing hotel with all the facilities you will need while staying in Grindelwald. Best location. Amazing hotel Italian restaurant and service for dinner. The breakfast buffet is the best I have had when using hotels, a huge range of food and drink for breakfast! Amazing views of the alps! The pool is so amazing and exactly as pictured and relaxing after busy days exploring!

Room interior is a little dated though I think it is showing the true Swiss traditional style! The bed pillows and mattress were lumpy but still soft enough to sleep well. The room was very stuffy and hotel when windows closed.

Fantastic location, First lift an easy few minutes walk, frequent ski bus to Terminal lifts just outside hotel. All facilities excellent and staff very helpful and hard-working. Great views from Eiger view rooms.

Not sure why there is a 'no swimsuits' sign on the saunas but not elsewhere (we ignored it) which makes UK visitors and apparently Belgians we spoke to uncomfortable. When are Europeans going to realise that sitting naked somewhere immediately after someone else has just there sat naked is NOT hygienic and frankly a bit weird.

Wonderful hotel. The view of the Eiger and other mountains from our balcony was extraordinary, and it was supposedly only a partial view. Great breakfasts, and dinner was so good we didn't bother looking for any place else to eat at night. The restaurant terrace was especially nice when the weather cooperated. Didn't get to explore the whole spa area but did enjoy one lovely evening at the infinity pool, again with that amazing view. Terrific staff; everything went smoothly. Wish we could go back tomorrow.

The folks next door smoked like a chimney on their balcony, but that's not the hotel's fault. Was the priciest hotel we stayed at in Switzerland, though it was worth it.

It’s a short walk from the grindelwald train station, mostly flat, a short uphill walk. Short walk to pfingstegg for toboggan, extremely short stroll to first bahn. The staff were very hospitable - they helped move our bags to the room, out of the room, allowed us to use the spa facilities even after we’ve checked out. The spa is great! Steam room, heated pool (with an amazing view), sauna, hot tub and even ice shower. It’s amazing!! Oh ya and their restaurant was reasonably priced, had the lamb lasagnes with ratatouille. All with a view of eiger. Love love love.

I regret not staying longer :’)

One of the best hotels we stayed in Switzerland so far! Room comes with a balcony with mountain view! Breakfast spread is worth it and convenient. Infinity pool is a must go so bring your swimsuits! The ONLY hotel that provides so many toiletries. Clean room, clean sheets, clean towels! Able to use my Dyson here. Room space is suffice, restaurants are nearby but the restaurant from the hotel itself is also good enough. Migros/convenient store are in walkable distance. Hotel has a van to drop us to train station for free! if you arrive with huge luggages, can request for free pickup! Their facility is superb!

Cab from station to hotel is CHF25 & a little bit uphill. Going to your room can be confusing.

The location and the amazing view of the surrounding mountain peaks! The breakfast variety, with live omelet station.

The infinity pool is small and gets very crowded. For a relaxing time, I suggest to skip lunch and go to the pool instead (empty between 12.30 and 14.30). Evenings it is way too crowded there, there were kids "swimming lessons" (kids were splashing everyone around and jumping in the pool) - the complete opposite of a relaxing time. I suggest to avoid evenings at the pool by all means.

It truly was a magical experience. we loved the spa and we ordered room service that was AMAZING. Also, Breakfast was so good every morning. The staff was so friendly and kind! I have waited for years to come to Hotel Spinne and it did not disappoint!

One issue was that it was difficult to get the water in the shower to be warm. It either was SO hot or cool. but it was not that big of a deal in the long run! My other complaint was that the spa area was a no bathing suit zone but there was children allowed in the area. I felt uncomfortable relaxing in the sauna knowing that a child could walk in.
