There are no hotels except here with this price included SPA. Breakfast is very nice with various food and live scramble egg. Direct access to ski dry room from outside on the grand floor. One of the closest hotels from the bus stop which goes to all ski lifts and a rental ski shop. Very nice view of mountains from pool and restaurant.

The Eiger suite is so spacious for a family with two kids. The second bathroom makes a huge difference. Special toiletries, gowns and slippers provided for the children too. The private patio was amazing for our kids to enjoy the fresh snow, build snowmen, etc without having to go anywhere! Lots of cupboard space for suitcases and wet sports gear. Central heating helped dry any wet clothes within a day. The Mercato restaurant is fabulous. Service, quality pasta, pizza and other foods. We ate there twice and could have done a few more meals there. Loved the gluhwein in the entrance hall when we returned from the slopes. Reception desk is extremely helpful for travel advice and buying tickets or making reservations. Close to the station and bus stop. Loved the heated swimming pool outdoors whilst it was snowing! Breakfast was good but not a huge selection.
The “double bed” in the main bedroom is two single beds next to each other, so if you sleep in the middle you fall through the gap. The mattresses in the main bedroom were not that firm anymore, perhaps time for rotation or replacement.

it was big! apart from the hotel there was a restaurant and also a bar and a huge massage, sauna, swimming pool. The swimming pool is well-known being an infinity pool that overlooks the Eiger. I tried it because of that reputation and it is sensational but could be a little bit warmer given the outside temperature. The room we stayed in with the junior suite and it was very hard to understand exactly the layout and how big it was but it ended up being great ! The breakfast was great. Location 5-10 min. from station depending in your confidence walking in snow. I survived, my partner a bit slippy!!
The restaurant was a little bit poor on the selection of food and quite expensive. In the lead up to our stay, I was uncertain about if I had booked the right place but in the end I was happy.

We had the most amazing time here celebrating our anniversary. I booked this to surprise my fiancée, and as soon as we woke up on the first morning and saw the view of the Eiger, covered in snow and mist, I knew I made a good choice! We had a ground floor room so it was easy to step out into the snow, or sit on the patio and enjoy the view. Our daughter loved being able to play in the snow each morning before breakfast. The infinity pool exceeded our expectations, it was a highlight of our holiday being able to relax here each evening. I was glad the hotel allowed children as it meant we could enjoy it as a family. We went at various times and it was never too busy. The breakfast was decent and had a good variety. The Mercato restaurant was also pretty good, reasonably priced and I was glad they had a kids menu. They also do take out, so you can have it in your room. Overall an amazing hotel, we will definitely be coming back and I would recommend to anyone.
No complaints.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Spinne Hotel and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of the Eiger, which made our mornings truly special. The hotel breakfast was also outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day off right. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Additionally, the hotel’s proximity to the ski slopes and other outdoor activities made it an ideal choice for those looking to enjoy the area’s winter offerings.

I can’t expect more than this about the hotel location. Facing to three mountains (Schereckhorn, Mittelhorn and Eiger). My room was the Eiger view with a balcony. The room (hotel) was clean and the hotel staff were very friendly. I did not use heated pool but the room was clean. The hotel is not far from the train station ( 5 min walk) on the flat road. Many restaurants and stores (Coop too) are around. They provide shuttle service to the train station too. The hotel room was quiet. What a nice stay it was. Getting up with bird singing with marvellous mountain views!!! We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and visited Grindelwald; Schynige Platte, Interlaken and Lake Brienz; Jungfraujosh and Lauterbrunnen. Grindelwald is the key location to exploit all interesting places around.
Breakfast was ok. The access to egg order was very slow, but there was a variety of food. The access to the room was a little bit complicated.

Everything at Hotel Spinne was wonderful. The room (suite) was amazing for our family of 5 and the balcony was a lovely, unexpected bonus. It was cleaned and tidied every day. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and eating outside with such fabulous views was brilliant. Breakfast was wonderful, everything that you might want for breakfast was offered. The pool area was enjoyed by all the family after days of adventures in the local area. Hotel Spinne is an excellent base to experience everything that Grindlewald has to offer. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we cannot recommend the hotel Spinne highly enough. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so fabulous.

Excellent location, no more than 10 minute walk from the station, slightly uphill. Bang in the middle of town. Room was lovely and spacious with beautiful views. To be honest, I think most rooms will have lovely views. Breakfast was good, never busy and always plentyful. The wellness Spa is excellent, with a heated outdoor infinity pool, sauna, steam, ice shower, relax room and jacuzzi. We had two days in Grindelwald, day 1 we walked down to Grund, watched the paragliders, had fondue at the restaurant by the station and got the train back to Grindelwald. Day 2 we went up to the Jungfraujoch, we were lucky with the weather, it was clear and sunny at the top despite being cloudy in Grindelwald, well worth the journey. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Grindelwald.

We had the family room 601. Amazing views. I can’t say enough about the views. Gorgeous room. Very large. Essentially a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment without a kitchen. Did I mention the fireplace? Great staff. Always accommodating and helpful. Superb breakfast. Definitely make time for the breakfast before starting your day. Beautiful infinity pool overlooking Eiger mountain and heated.Short walk to train station and First lift.
Spa hours should be longer. Typically don’t return from your excursions until later and pool closes at 9 pm. Would prefer 10 pm. For some strange reason our cleaning crew wouldn’t clean or replace our used coffee cups but would put them back in their proper place still dirty. They did clean the wine glasses every day. Small details but still annoying in the morning to find dirty coffee cups.

Very good location, clean and the food (the breakfast and the restaurant what is open from 18:00) was excellent, the Staff members are selected professionals. Worth every penny. Again, the staff is a friendly group to each other a s to the guests too, working really hard and fast and I think of them and of the hotel as "standard" from now on. If I choose a place to stay in the future, I hope they will be at this level and I hope I will be able to stay there again in the future. The wellness is really really good, the hours fly as minutes there! The outside pool is amazing, weasd some awesome pictures there.
#1 The beds was a bit uncomfortable but no clue why, we just could not sleep and wake up with full of energy. #2 Some guests: Walking and sitting in the sauna without towels, bare naked in the wellness area where we wanted to just enjoy the whirlpool in peace. Others arrived home at 3:00 probably after one alcohol fueled Saturday night and woke up the half of the sleeping hotel. A third group, yelled from one desk to the next one because they wanted to talk during breakfast but not to sit close to each other. The same group let a joghurt fall on the carpet and they left it there while laughing at it and hoping noone saw them. Guys, be respectful, it is a wonderful place!
